Having reached great heights as the co-writer of the gospel hit "Your Great Name", this humble and talented creative has dedicated his life to focusing on the right things even as his career and influence grew from small beginnings, major setbacks and God-ordained connections.

Also known throughout the industry as D. Jamel Kimbrough,  Dontaniel's production work with gospel artist Todd Dulaney earned him a #1 hit on the Top 10 Billboard charts for numerous weeks. As CEO of Keyemup Music, a comprehensive music production company and recording studio,  he has collaborated with many other successful artists such as Byron Cage, Bri Babineaux, Benita Jones, Travis Greene, Nicole C. Mullen, Tamela Mann, Q Parker, 112, Donald Lawrence, Shana Wilson-Williams, Tim Bowman, Canton Jones, Leon Timbo and Christina Bell.

Dontaniel is the music director at Calvary Church in Naperville, IL – one of the largest multi-ethnic churches in Illinois – and also lends his musical and production skills to Christian television networks TBN and TLN.
