Their strategic alliances, thought leadership and proactive workforce development initiatives make this vision a reality. Notably, they've collaborated with computer training institutions, offering substantial coding bootcamp scholarships to aspiring software engineers, reducing education costs by at least 50%.
🤝 Community engagement is at the heart of their ethos. As a founding member of the Black Innovation Leaders of Florida (BILF), co-founder of Blacks At Microsoft Florida Chapter, and a proactive lead in the Miami/South Florida region and the Miami Chapter of Blacks In Technology, they are actively shaping the landscape. Their dedication extends to the podcast sphere, where they co-host a STEM-centric podcast with the EdUp Podcast Network.
🚀 In April 2022, they marked a significant milestone with the launch of BITE-CON’s annual technology conference during Miami Tech Month. This event set the stage for insightful dialogues and collaborative learning.
🎓 Their educational journey is equally diverse, holding a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a J.D., M.B.A. from St. Thomas University School of Law. Since 2011, they've been imparting legal and business knowledge as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business at Miami Dade College, Hialeah campus.
