The Dallas Cowboys Daily Blitz
Is Gilbert For Real? | Special Teams Shine Welcome to the Dallas Cowboys Blitzcast by Drunk Sports and DSP Media in partnership with CowboysSI.com. Colby Sapp and Timm “IndyCarTim” Hamm are your hosts as we discuss all things Dallas Cowboys and all things NFL. LIVE from the patio at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, TX! Please join us LIVE each Thursday night starting at 7pm for sports talk and all the Stonebriar Cocktails from our private Blitzcast Bar. Join the show LIVE, on Facebook, YouTube, or Periscope, or listen at CowboysSI.com! The Cowboys put a scare into the unbeaten Pittsburgh Steelers as they carried a lead into halftime. Then they put the hurt into Big Ben with a knee injury also right before halftime, but good teams find ways to beat bad teams, and that’s exactly what happened at AT&T Stadium. Although the Cowboys played well at times, and the defense showed more improvement, and the special teams showed us how they can keep this club in games, the Steelers are unbeaten for a reason, and it showed. On a positive note, Garrett Gilbert looked really good at many points throughout the game in his first ever NFL start, 6 years after being drafted. Could he be the backup of the future? Maybe even a “Super-Sub”? Also, who should be getting most of the carries out of the backfield? We discuss Zeke vs Tony! With the Cowboys on a bye this week we have time to dissect this thing from the beginning and also predict what this club might look like in 2021. Special thanks to CowboysSI.com as well as Stonebriar Country Club for making this episode possible. Please continue the conversation on Twitter: @BlitzcastNFL, @ColbySapp, and @IndyCarTim.
