In the final moments of this throwback interview with Jeff Crilley, I talked about how grateful I felt for where my career had taken me.
By that point, I had spent years speaking to accountants and sharing what I had learned with the profession.
But I was beginning to feel that the work could reach further.
I wanted to connect with more entrepreneurs and business owners, not only around accounting, but around the larger questions that come with building a business and a life.
That is why I described the moment as coming full circle. ❤️
My career had started with financial security and accounting. Over time, that work gave me opportunities to teach, speak, and help more people.
Looking back at this clip now, I can see that the desire to expand beyond the accounting world was already there.
Sometimes your career grows into something you never could have planned at the beginning.
