How Hurricane Harvey Helped Build Our Firm
In 2017, Hurricane Harvey flooded my first office.
What followed changed everything:
The IRS asked us to volunteer at FEMA Disaster Relief Centers.
We served pro bono, helping people with IRS issues blocking FEMA/SBA aid.
Later, those same people came back as clients.
We expanded into compliance, grew by word of mouth, and were ready for COVID because we were already paperless.
When you serve with purpose, growth follows.
