In this episode, I interview fitness expert, human movement specialist and adventure athlete, Matt Scarfo about his journey to base camp at Mount Everest. This expedition was fueled by love, rage and desperation and was an attempt to raise money and awareness about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This is such a compelling story and shows us that there are still heroes in this world, men who are selfless, courageous and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure children have a chance against this unforgiving disease.
