Ed Bisch lost his son, Eddie, to an oxycontin overdose (he took one pill) in 2001. While Ed grieved the loss of his son, he also took notice - never having heard of oxycontin before. He began researching and finding other parents who had lost children to this drug and he was contacted by Purdue Pharma who had all sorts of justifications as to why this might happen. Ed has been keeping the pressure on via his group - RAPP - Relatives Against Purdue Pharma. The goal is for the executives of Purdue and the Sackler family to receive jail time for their participation in the many deaths caused by oxycontin.
