This week we have a special treat for you! We are chatting with Travis Bilbrey the sketch artist from the Season Finale of The Dead Files “The Eternal Haunting” (Season 15 Episode 13) which aired October 19, 2023. We also recap the episode a bit, after the interview. Folks, we have thoughts.

Travis Bilbrey

Artist

Travis Bilbrey (I Can't Feel My Feelings Art) is a visual artist from Bowling Green, KY who works primarily in oil
paint, acrylic paint, ink, and graphite. His oil paintings are rooted in earth tones which are
worked with an impressionistic technique that often results in a very thick textured final product.
His dark themed works typically fall into the “postmodern surrealism” or “lowbrow”
genre. Many works include depictions of the heart as a symbol for both emotion and physical
vitality. Other themes of his work often include personal struggles such as loneliness, depression,
regret, frustration, confusion, and love, as well as social themes such as violence, oppression, and
income disparity. The seriousness of these pieces is often cut with works involving pop culture
themes.
