Travis Mills & Austin Theriault teaming up for Oxford 250 THIS WEEKEND

FORT KENT/MOUNT VERNON, Maine -- Retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills and former NASCAR driver/Fort Kent native Austin Theriault will be teaming up for the legendary Oxford 250 race this weekend.

The Maine duo previously worked together in 2019 on a similar effort. Theriault and Mills will also join forces with Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in the effort to raise awareness and promote the outstanding work of the Travis Mills Foundation.

Mills & Theriault are available for interviews in the days leading up to the race. Interested media should contact marketing@austintheriault.com.

They're working together to raise funds for the Travis Mills Foundation, which supports recalibrated veterans and their families through programs that help these heroic men and women overcome physical & emotional obstacles, strengthen their families, & provide well-deserved rest & relaxation.

Mainers can support the fundraising effort, which goes entirely to the Travis Mills Foundation, at this link.

Travis Mills, Retired United States Army Staff Sergeant, said:

“We are thrilled to once again join forces with Austin and his Team as he highlights the incredible work our Foundation does to assist recalibrated veterans and their families. We wish him the best of luck as he competes in the biggest race in Maine. We extend our special thanks to Bar Harbor Bank & Trust who are making this collaboration possible."

Curtis C. Simard, President and CEO of Bar Harbor Bankshares and Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, said:

"Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is enthusiastic about joining such an accomplished young racer as Austin Theriault with our ongoing support of the Travis Mills Foundation. They are both proven winners, and we are proud to present them in the 50th running of the Oxford 250 in August."

Austin Theriault, former NASCAR Cup Series driver, said:

"Motorsports is a great American tradition and I'm honored to participate in the sport that I love in the state that I love. I'm also honored to be partnering up with Travis Mills and Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. This partnership will help the Travis Mills Foundation serve even more heroes who sacrificed so much for our freedom, and I ask all Mainers and racing fans to support this effort."
