🏈 TAYLOR EFFECT? Travis Kelce reportedly blames newfound fame with superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift for NFL struggles!

03 Calarugashawk Media. Hey Swifties, Welcome back to Taylor Swift Today. I'm your host, Ali, and we have so much Taylor news to cover this week, from Travis's NFL struggles, to Taylor's amazing charity work, and even some presidential news that affects concert tickets. Let's dive right in. First up, let's talk about what's been happening with Travis. There's been a bit of drama online after reports surfaced claiming Travis believes his newfound fame from dating Taylor might have affected his performance on the field last season. According to US Weekly, Travis feels. He might have taken his eye off the ball while getting involved in all those commercials, TV shows, and movie cameos that came his way after he started dating Taylor.

49 As you probably know, Travis didn't have his best statistical season and the Chiefs had that tough Super Bowl loss to the Eagles. Some fans online have been pretty harsh with comments like everyone could see he focused more on being a star than being in best form ouch. But others are defending him and saying it's not fair to blame Taylor for his performance issues. What we do know for sure is that both Taylor and Travis are now enjoying some much needed downtime. Another source told US Weekly that so much attention on their relationship is not the best thing, and that Travis wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor. They're reportedly spending their time either watching movies, working out together, or visiting family. A source called it their dream to just do nothing for a while after working so hard.

38 I totally get that. In some absolutely heartwarming Kelsey family news, Taylor just showed her support for her boyfriend's sister in law, Kylie Kelsey. Jason's wife, announced that she gave birth. To their fourth daughter, Finley, Finn and Kelsey on March thirtieth. Taylor liked Kylie's Instagram post announcing the baby's arrival. It's such a sweet, subtle. Way of showing support for the growing Kelsey family. This is Jason and Kylie's fourth daughter, joining big sisters Wyatt, Elliott, and Bennett. Taylor also liked Kylie's pregnancy announcement back in November, so she's been supporting the family all along. Now let's talk about something that makes me love Taylor even more.

20 Ellen Pompeo, who you might know from Grey's Anatomy, recently shared the most incredible story about Taylor's generosity. Ellen made a cameo in Taylor's Bad Blood music video ten years ago. Can you believe it's been that long? And she revealed on the Jennifer Hudson Show that despite only knowing Ellen for about twenty minutes, Taylor wrote her the biggest check for Children's Hospital Los Angeles without hesitation. Ellen explained that she and her husband volunteer with a program at the hospital that records parents singing nursery rhymes or telling stories to their babies in the nikki when they can't be there. She got the HUTSPA to ask Taylor for a donation, and Taylor immediately wrote a huge check. How amazing is that?

02 Ellen also mentioned that Taylor had been a fan of Gray's Anatomy for years before they met. Remember that Taylor even named one of her cat's Meredith Gray, after Ellen's character In some travel news that affects celebrities like Taylor. The Federal Aviation Administration just implemented a new privacy rule that would make it harder for people to track private jets. This comes after Taylor's legal team sent cease and desist letters to that college student Jack Sweeney, who's been tracking her flights. Now, private aircraft owners can request to keep their registration information private, which would make it much more difficult for flight tracking services to follow Taylor's movements. This is probably a relief for her after that controversy a few weeks ago, when an unverified video supposedly showed her taking a super short flight from LA to Santa Monica.

49 In major political news that actually relates to concert tickets, President Trump just signed an executive order to stop price gouging at music concerts. The White House said the live concert. Is industry is being exploited by unscrupulous middlemen who impose egregious fees on fans with no benefit to artists. The order directs officials to make sure ticket sellers comply with tax rules and that there's price transparency at all stages of the ticket purchase process. This is pretty interesting because it creates an unusual alliance with Taylor, who was furious at how Ticketmaster handled sales for her Eiras tour back in twenty twenty two. Remember when their website crashed, and tickets meant for fans ended up on.

30 Resale sites at crazy prices. That whole mess led to congressional hearings and calls to break up Ticketmaster's effective monopoly. So even though Taylor and Trump aren't exactly known for being on the same page politically, they apparently agree on this concert ticket issue. More in a moment. In fun Taylor Swift tourism news, there's now an official Taylor Swift's New York walking tour. For sixty six dollars per person, you can visit thirteen tailor related spots around Manhattan's West Village and Soho neighborhoods. The tour includes places where Taylor has been seen, locations mentioned in her lyrics, and spots like the Housing Works bookstore cafe where she filmed part of All Too Well, the short film. There are even pink footprints mark Taylor stood here at one location.

24 The tour guides are super dedicated Swifties with impressive Taylor knowledge. One guide mentioned that she talks about Taylor enough for free, might as well see if I can make some money. I totally respect the hustle and finally, let me clear up a little bit of social media confusion. There was a viral tweet claiming Apple was going to release a set of pop star emojis, including one for Taylor, in the next iOS update. But it turns out this was completely fake. The post came from a parody account called drop Pop, and people were actually kind of relieved once they realized it wasn't real because the emotion g designs were pretty questionable. The Taylor emoji apparently had short hair and blue eyes, which isn't even accurate. Just so you know, the Unicode Consortium, the folks who oversee emoji, doesn't approve emojis based on living people, so we won't be getting Taylor emoji anytime soon.

16 Sorry to disappoint, and that's all for today's episode of Taylor Swift Today. What do you think about Travis taking a step back from the spotlight?
