📊 POWER RANKINGS: Taylor Named #2 Pop Star of Century - See Who She BEAT!

03 Calauca Shawk Media. Hey Swifties, Abby here filling in for Annalise, and we've got some absolutely massive news to discuss today. Billboard just named Taylor the second greatest pop star of the twenty first century, and while some fans might have feelings about that number two spot, let me break down exactly why this is such a monumental recognition. Billboard has been rolling out their ranking of the artists who have most defined pop stardom for the last twenty five years, and the top ten is absolutely stacked, with legends. Coming in at number ten. We have Adele, followed by Ariana Grande at nine, Justin Bieber at eight, Kanye West died seven, Britney Spears claiming spot number six, Lady Gaga at five, Drake taking number four, and Rihanna securing the third position, and then there's our Girl at number two. Outranking all of these incredible artists. Despite what Billboard calls her eight year late starting country music, Billboard's Hannah Daily explained that Taylor, through honoring all the traits that made her different, was able to forcefully, gravitationally bend culture to her will and become one of the world's biggest undisputed pop stars. And let's talk about why this ranking makes so much sense.

20 Just look at what she's achieved this year alone. She made history in February by becoming the first person to win Album of the Year four times at the Grammys. Time named her Person of the Year, Forbes declared her the richest female musician with a one point six billion dollar net worth, and her latest album TTPD became the first album ever to receive more than three hundred million streams on Spotify in a single day. Now, while Billboard hasn't officially announced who's taking that number one spot, fans are pretty convinced it'll be Beyonce, and the reactions have been fascinating. Some Swifties on social media are saying, what joke, She's the biggest, but others are taking a more measured approach.

04 As one fan beautifully put it on Reddit, Taylor has been bigger in recent years, but Beyonce has been huge since the very beginning of this century. And honestly, the fact that there's even a debate about the placement just shows how incredible Taylor's impact has been. Speaking of recognition, Taylor just shared the most heartbelt reflection on her Toronto shows on Instagram. The emotions have gotten pretty heightened for me and the rest of the team, she wrote, acknowledging that Vancouver will be the last city of the Heiress Tour and the closing of the most extraordinary chapter of my life so far. She gave a special shout out to Gracie Abrams celebrating their Grammy nominated collaboration US and their incredible mashup with Out of the Woods. Now here's something that shows just how coveted Heiress Tour tickets really are.

52 Even The Rock had to pull strings. Dwayne Johnson revealed that in his entire thirty year career, this was the first time he ever had to make special calls to get tickets. I'm never good at asking for that kind of stuff. I'm good at giving it. Hate asking for stuff, he shared, before adding that Taylor personally made it happen. Even Ocean's Eleven director Steven Soderberg admitted he couldn't get in and had to settle for watching the film. Speaking of the tour coming to an end, sources close to Taylor are sharing that she's going through a difficult transition as she processes this massive chapter closing. This tour has been her life and the people on the tour have been her family. One insider revealed to Daily Mail the good news Travis has been stepping up in the sweetest way, with sources saying she's been leaning on Travis and her family more than ever and while he couldn't make the Toronto shows due to football commitments, Travis and the Chiefs are having an incredible season themselves, just securing their tenth win against the Panthers. And speaking of the Kelsey family, Jason just shared the most precious insight into Taylor's generosity on The Rich Show. Apparently, Taylor has given him an open invitation to get tickets for anyone who needs them, but Jason's response is so thoughtful. She's been nothing but lovely to our family. She's a wonderful person, and I don't want that to kind of be a dynamic. He explained that he always says no to ticket requests because he doesn't want to impose. How sweet is that. In a delightful musical crossover, Kelly Clarkson just delivered an incredible

26 cover of Lavender Hayes on her talk show that has fans begging for a collaboration. The American idol Alum put her own spin on the Midnight's track while wearing what fans think might be Easter egg colors, and the comments section exploded with requests for everything from new music together to Kelly appearing on a debut TV Vault track more in a moment speaking of Easter eggs, we've got even more details about that Lifetime movie beyond what we already knew. Turns out, Christmas in the Spotlight is absolutely packed with Taylor lyrics. The main character tells her love interest she was more of a bleacher girl. Hello, you belong with me.

13 There are references to your losing me, and even the news anchor in the movie mentions Alchemy, a clear nod to the song rumored to be about Travis. And here's something fascinating that body language experts have noticed. Taylor's confidence has grown so much over this past year. Remember how she used to seem a bit shy at those first football games. Well, she was just spotted at a Beverly Hills restaurant, absolutely radiating confidence, waving to fans and staff while saying thank you so much as she walked through the kitchen. It's beautiful to see her so comfortable and happy. With just three Vancouver shows remaining before this historic tour concludes, it's incredible to think about everything that's happened since it began.

55 From breaking records as the highest grossing tour of all time, pulling in nearly two billion dollars, to Finding Love to inspiring the rock to make phone calls, Taylor's impact just keeps growing, and soon we'll get to relive it all through the official Eras Tour book featuring over five and images, including never before seen behind the scenes moments that Taylor says, We'll commemorate the memories we made together in a special way. This has been Taylor Swift today, reminding you that whether you're wondering about that Billboard ranking, singing along with Kelly Clarkson, or just counting down to those final Vancouver shows, it's the way this community supports each other that makes everything special.

36 Until next time, keep spreading. That's Swifty Love.
