Should We Cancel "Cancel Culture"?

Whether you agree or not, these things seem to happen each day.  Celebs, cartoon characters, books and more get scrutinized.  Nothing is above being canceled.

Are you okay with this?  

Cancel culture can sneak up on someone like COVID.  Should it be that easy to run the risk of being canceled?  A tweet with no malice intent?  Should we ruin someone's livelihood a difference of opinion on politics?  What about something they said 10 years ago?  How about if they're accused (not charged or convicted) of something illegal?  Is it okay to effective take money out of their pockets or forever tarnish their reputation without evidence or a trial?
