Updating your official website link on podcast players

Every podcast app reads a website link from your RSS feed — it's how players like Apple Podcasts and Spotify point listeners to your official website. By default, most hosting providers set this link to their own mini-site for your podcast, which mainly benefits them. Point it at your Podpage instead so listeners land on your real website.

Important: You're only changing the website address listed in your host's settings. If you see instructions about changing DNS settings, you're in the wrong place — don't change anything about your domain name.

Buzzsprout

1. Go to Podcast Info → Advanced.
2. Find Your Website Address and enter your website address (https://www.yourwebsite.com).

Podbean

1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Feed, then Advanced Settings.
3. Find Podcast Website and enter your website address.

Simplecast

1. Open your podcast Settings (the small gear next to the podcast name in the dropdown list).
2. Click Site Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom — under Advanced, find Alternate Show Website and enter your website address.
4. Click Save in the top right.

Make sure you're under Feed, not General.

Libsyn

1. Log in to Libsyn and go to your podcast settings.
2. Click Show Settings.
3. Change Website Address to your website address.

SoundCloud

1. Log in to SoundCloud and go to your podcast's page.
2. Click Edit.
3. Add a link to the Your Links section at the bottom with your home page URL and the description "Website".

Podcast.co

1. Log in to Podcast.co.
2. Click Settings → Advanced.
3. Change the Website URL to your Podpage URL.

Using a different host?
