Podpage doesn't host media files directly, including videos. Instead, host your video on a platform built for streaming — like YouTube or Vimeo — and embed it on your Podpage. Your videos load fast, and you get the reach and analytics of those platforms for free.
How to embed a video in show notes, blog posts, or custom pages
- Upload your video to YouTube, Vimeo, or another hosting platform.
- On the platform, find the video's Share or Embed option and copy the embed code.
- In your Podpage dashboard, open the edit screen for the episode, blog post, or page where you want the video.
- Click the <> button in the editor and paste the embed code.
- Click Save, then preview the page to make sure the video plays.
Import YouTube videos as their own pages
You can also import YouTube videos into a dedicated Videos section of your website, each with its own page — see Import YouTube videos into your website.
Tip: Publish video versions of your episodes on YouTube even if you're audio-first — it's a search engine of its own, and embedding those videos on your site gives listeners another way in.
