Your trailer is the fastest way to turn a visitor into a listener, so it deserves prime placement on your homepage. There are two easy ways to feature it.
Show your trailer episode in the header
- In your dashboard, go to Design → Home Page and click Edit Homepage Header.
- Open the Media Player section.
- Under Which imported episode should show?, choose First Episode / Trailer.
- Click Save.
Your trailer (or first episode, if your feed doesn't mark a trailer) now plays in the header instead of your latest episode — it's the first thing visitors see when they land on your site.
Embed a video trailer
If your trailer is a video on YouTube, you can embed it in the same Media Player section: paste the video's URL into the YouTube video field and click Save. For more placement options, see Setting up a video player on your homepage.
Tip: If your trailer isn't picked up automatically, check that it's marked as a trailer in your media host — Podpage reads that flag from your RSS feed.
