The Announcement Bar is a colored strip at the very top of your website, above the navigation bar, visible on every page. It's the surest way to get a message — a limited-time offer, big news, a call to action — in front of every visitor.
Available on the Pro plan and above.
How to set up the Announcement Bar
- In your dashboard, go to Design → Announcement Bar.
- Enter your Announcement Bar Text.
- Optionally add an Announcement Bar Link — this turns the whole bar into a link — and choose whether it opens in a new window.
- Click Save.
Customization options
- Background Color — under Advanced Settings. If left blank, the bar uses your site's primary color.
- Text Color — under Advanced Settings. If left blank, Podpage picks a color that contrasts with the background.
To remove the Announcement Bar, just delete the text and save — the bar disappears when the text field is empty.
Tip: Keep the message short and change it when it goes stale — a bar that never changes starts to get ignored.
