Strange New Worlds Beams Back for Season 3 This July!

Strange New Worlds Beams Back for Season 3 This July!

Start dusting off your uniforms and charging those tricorders, folks!

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is warping back into our lives (FINALLY!!!) with Season 3 this summer! Paramount+ just dropped the news that the third season of the hit Trek series will premiere on Thursday, July 17, and we're getting two episodes right out of the gate. Weekly episodes will follow every Thursday, leading up to the finale on September 11.

Yes, that means our beloved Captain Pike and the gang are returning after what seems like an eternity. And let’s not forget we left them in quite the Gorn-induced pickle last season. Season 3 is picking up right where we left off, and while we’re sure there’ll be fallout from that gnarly cliffhanger, there’s also a whole bunch of new adventures waiting for the crew of the Enterprise. Think: strange new villains, romantic entanglements, comedy, drama, and a few genre twists that sound like they’ll keep us guessing (and geeking out). See our teaser trailer breakdown over on YouTube!

The whole bridge crew is back — Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn. And just in case that wasn’t enough awesome (and gorgeous, let's be fair) in one place, we’re also getting guest stars like Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt (!!!), Melanie Scrofano, Carol Kane, and yes, Paul Wesley as James T. Kirk.

Oh, and if you’re already worried about the end of the season? Fear not — Strange New Worlds has already been renewed for Season 4, which is currently in production. So the adventure continues!

Set your stardates: July 17. Thursdays are about to get very Starfleet again.
