Sigh....and by Sigh, I mean that in the most dramatic way possible. According to the Associated Press in a 2005 lawsuit Bill Cosby admitted to giving Quaaludes to at least one woman and securing the drugs to give to other women he wanted to have sex with.
An unidentified woman employed by Temple University, where Cosby was on the board of trustees, alleged that Cosby had sexually assaulted her. In his testimony, Cosby admitted he gave her three half-pills of Benadryl, although her lawyers disputed that was the drug involved, the AP learned from court records it had obtained. The lawsuit was later settled.
There have been numerous allegations against Cosby from unknown women to those with celebrity status. He has never been criminally charged with sexual assault or rape. Cosby's lawyers have been fighting to keep the 2005 records quiet stating that Mr. Cosby would be terribly embarrassed by the whole thing.
Sigh...I don't have anything to add to this story. I think that my over the top entrance speaks to how my perfect television family [Cosby Family] has just been ripped from my childhood. (Ok, so I guess I did have more to say)
