Memorial Day, Summer Burnout & the Sexiest Self-Care Day (with Jess)

On a Memorial Day episode of Shital Weapon, Shital and returning guest Jess joke about the strange mix of honoring fallen soldiers while chasing holiday sales, then pivot into how summer adds pressure, expenses, and planning stress for parents—especially moms. They talk travel preferences, overpacking, airline loyalty, and the unrealistic expectations of a “magical” summer, arguing that boredom and imperfection are normal and even healthy for kids. The conversation centers on reclaiming autonomy and saying yes to yourself, including doing trips alone or with friends, and creating unstructured vacations with room for spontaneity. They end with practical advice for partners: support moms with permission and logistics for a selfish “first day of school” self-care day, and recognize the sacrifices that make everyday freedom possible.

0:06 [UNKNOWN]: We all have that one friend, the one who says exactly what's on their mind, no matter what, and that's Sheedle Mars. [UNKNOWN]: That's right, every week my friends and I dive into whatever's on my mind, sports, politics, pop culture, even my own struggles, you name it. [UNKNOWN]: If I'm thinking about it, we're talking about it. [UNKNOWN]: Unfiltered, unapologetic, and just a little dangerous. [UNKNOWN]: Hello again, so love it or hate it. [UNKNOWN]: We are on episode 1 billion of Sheetle weapon. [UNKNOWN]: I feel I I'm forever years old this show has gone on so long I'm lethal sheetle why lethal sheetle why sheetle weapon because the joke doesn't work unless you say my name right And this show if anybody's wondering what the show is about and I never do this the same way [UNKNOWN]: because I don't pay attention.

1:01 [UNKNOWN]: But what's the show about? [UNKNOWN]: It's really about nothing. [UNKNOWN]: But it's about me expressing my thoughts on a variety of topics, sometimes by myself, sometimes with really good friends. [UNKNOWN]: And we just have a great conversation. [UNKNOWN]: And this is my, for anybody who's listened to previous episodes. [UNKNOWN]: This is a lot of my interpretation of talk therapy. [UNKNOWN]: I am theorizing myself with my own voice, which if anybody's wondering if it's successful or not, [UNKNOWN]: It's not. [UNKNOWN]: It's not working. [UNKNOWN]: I am a shit chef. [UNKNOWN]: But at $3.99, everybody, every asshole's got a bucket that's a mic in a mic pack.

1:45 [UNKNOWN]: You know, real therapist costs money. [UNKNOWN]: So I'm not going to do it. [UNKNOWN]: I do have a wonderful guest today. [UNKNOWN]: Today is Memorial Day. [UNKNOWN]: So that means that we are honoring the fallen soldiers. [UNKNOWN]: We really do. [UNKNOWN]: We think about how tragic we're is, but we also get 50% off bed. [UNKNOWN]: And I think it's a weird connection. [UNKNOWN]: I think those two go really well together. [UNKNOWN]: So we've had previous episodes. [UNKNOWN]: I really want to welcome back just plus. [UNKNOWN]: Thank you. [UNKNOWN]: You have probably one of B best names for shows, for radio, for TV.

2:27 [UNKNOWN]: Like, she is the group of all things fun. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm so glad that she's here with us today. [UNKNOWN]: And today, because it's Memorial Day. [UNKNOWN]: And because we want to honor these fallen soldiers, [UNKNOWN]: We're going to talk about barbecues. [UNKNOWN]: We're not going to, like, it sounds really trivial because it's such a heavy day. [UNKNOWN]: When I think about Memorial Day, I think about the start of summer. [UNKNOWN]: I think about summer barbecues. [UNKNOWN]: I think about days off school. [UNKNOWN]: I think about, you know, slipping slides and pools. [UNKNOWN]: And then you juxtapose that with the seriousness of what we are remembering today of the sacrifices that families make, the sacrifices that individuals make to go and try to fight for what's right with their lives.

3:17 [UNKNOWN]: Sure, and I think if you have somebody that has been in that situation like that has somebody [UNKNOWN]: because they are really remembering somebody that they've lost. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, where we are like, where can I get 50% off the target, right? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Tarket sales are really sad like I don't sure. [UNKNOWN]: You would think that we're talking about fallen soldiers. [UNKNOWN]: Why is it not 75% I know or 70% of somebody who is gone I don't know there should at least be a hundred percent off for all families all purple her families all of those families that have yes have had fallen soldiers who have active duty military who have [UNKNOWN]: You know, injured, injured veterans in their family, Memorial Day should be about your saving.

4:14 [UNKNOWN]: Okay, really should, and honestly, if we get free stuff for our birthday, why is like Memorial Day? [UNKNOWN]: Why are they not? [UNKNOWN]: Where's the marketing on that thing? [UNKNOWN]: in Washington is in charge of the new real day sale track the ball on this as coming from as a marketer and as a person my my parents are immigrants from India I've never served in the military I'm really fortunate to know some some really great military families and people who served overseas and people who served in various like combat scenarios [UNKNOWN]: And so, absolutely, they should be getting the bulk of any type of reward or more efforts that's happened today, but like I also need 30% off like I think something I would like something like [UNKNOWN]: I, I can't, don't, take me literally.

5:07 [UNKNOWN]: I want something. [UNKNOWN]: I want to be generous, but also too nice. [UNKNOWN]: Listen, there's no marketer day. [UNKNOWN]: So I do think something marketers can, you know, so it's like, can I just piggyback on this? [UNKNOWN]: As much as like, yes, they should be getting 75% off or free. [UNKNOWN]: Like, maybe just going out 30% like, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And yeah, I think that's, I think that's right and I'm, I would do think we should have a day off school. [UNKNOWN]: I do think we should have that moment where we realize the seriousness of why we have this day off. [UNKNOWN]: I think we did a little more education in our country about why we have this. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: And it feels weird to be like the start of summer. [UNKNOWN]: Let's say, [UNKNOWN]: Thank you to our dead.

5:48 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I feel like it should be its own day and then a summer kick off day. [UNKNOWN]: May the day. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: We should have so to the powers that we should write it out two days off. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: There's Memorial Day, which is the Monday. [UNKNOWN]: and then Tuesday should be welcome this summer. [UNKNOWN]: It's summer out here for summer Friday. [UNKNOWN]: So this is a three day week. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, the Friday of Memorial Day should be the start of summer and then that's where you have your deals. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, to then like maybe that's where I get my deal. [UNKNOWN]: Get all your discounts. [UNKNOWN]: That's when I can get I think it's like [UNKNOWN]: Pivot into more of a Sombur or like Remembering, you know, like a flexion a day of reflection a day of reflection Feel free it today, but I need to go shopping, but then I need the summer tail comes out But you can tell me about the discount on Monday and then implement it on Friday Because you know what I will have a list and it will be ready in my card.

6:46 [UNKNOWN]: Yes, second I wake up. [UNKNOWN]: I will be hitting yes. [UNKNOWN]: It will be the summer black Friday [UNKNOWN]: Don't we need that? [UNKNOWN]: I think we need two black Fridays. [UNKNOWN]: Obviously November. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: Grand wonderful. [UNKNOWN]: But like, hey, I hate black Friday. [UNKNOWN]: And we also are like surviving May Sember, which is, it's rough out here for moms. [UNKNOWN]: It's rough out here in these street. [UNKNOWN]: Like listen, you give me a 50% like I'm like places that I follow and it's like not memorial day, but like summer hell yeah doing something with that I would buy triple this stuff I would normally buy I would spend money by saving money. [UNKNOWN]: Exactly money by spending money. [UNKNOWN]: Thanks. [UNKNOWN]: Clea. [UNKNOWN]: And so like we always get prepared for December, which is, and like the holiday season, which is Thanksgiving, we're spending so much money.

7:32 [UNKNOWN]: But the amount of birthdays, the amount of graduation, the amount of weddings, then been in this, in this 45 day period of May 1 and kids getting out of school in early days. [UNKNOWN]: And of course, every day of May is a theme day. [UNKNOWN]: because we need to like celebrate each day as it's own unique theme. [UNKNOWN]: Elliot, I've, it's so much money and I, I go back and I think, okay. [UNKNOWN]: why we're all these people born and may like what why were you needing to like have sex and stress and this hear me out too also when we're talking about like let's say we advocate for a summer black Friday yes right we can call it sunny summer day I don't care it doesn't need it like but do you know what I would do like gangbusters [UNKNOWN]: South West and Delta, if you had a 50% off your tickets, I would buy a soul man.

8:39 [UNKNOWN]: Me too. [UNKNOWN]: Again? [UNKNOWN]: Because we're going places. [UNKNOWN]: This is going places. [UNKNOWN]: And then you give me a kickback on a deal. [UNKNOWN]: Are you kidding me? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Like yeah, I would beef up my travel schedule so much just for the deal. [UNKNOWN]: Well, I mean, just saying please the marketer that we need to get a Yeah, we need to need so more Diane yeah, let's let's make a list. [UNKNOWN]: I need a brand deal. [UNKNOWN]: So I need to stop cursing so I can get brand Yeah, I need Delta Delta. [UNKNOWN]: I am a silvery brand. [UNKNOWN]: I love you Delta and you've never done me dirty. [UNKNOWN]: No, and I used to fly Southwest. [UNKNOWN]: I met my husband on a Southwest flight. [UNKNOWN]: You did [UNKNOWN]: I did. [UNKNOWN]: I didn't spend on a flight.

9:19 [UNKNOWN]: Really? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Thanks me out. [UNKNOWN]: Every time I was growing up, if I sat next to a stranger, I was like, don't talk to me. [UNKNOWN]: I don't want to marry you. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I guess I just assume that's a beautiful net. [UNKNOWN]: I know. [UNKNOWN]: It's a messed up. [UNKNOWN]: So you just let your son know that he doesn't have to marry anybody. [UNKNOWN]: He's an excellent. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: We are all about choice here. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: We're coming into Pride Month. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: We are all about celebrating people's original. [UNKNOWN]: freaking is, whatever you guys need to do, orientation, and orientation, you want to black your person, meet your person, wherever you meet your person. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: But yes, so I was thinking about, like, okay, we have, and I think that we're getting gouged a little bit because they know the demand.

9:59 [UNKNOWN]: But I feel like, if I even had the semblance of a deal, I would have already booked my hotels and flight. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, once a thing. [UNKNOWN]: And obviously, I need swag. [UNKNOWN]: And obviously, I need new clothes for it. [UNKNOWN]: like I need the whole thing in my for anybody who has kid you're doing a few things summer is not cheap because now we have to put them in camps or do something with them. [UNKNOWN]: I didn't do summer camp growing up. [UNKNOWN]: I did TV. [UNKNOWN]: I did. [UNKNOWN]: I woke up. [UNKNOWN]: I have series. [UNKNOWN]: I have I watched my cartoon. [UNKNOWN]: But Barker raised you because he raised me. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: the showcase showdown. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: I am an expert. [UNKNOWN]: I always wanted to do the wheels, right?

10:41 [UNKNOWN]: The fact that we had a strategy. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: I need to do the wheel, and I've had the luxury of getting to do a polico style. [UNKNOWN]: Thank you. [UNKNOWN]: It's so satisfying to do polico. [UNKNOWN]: That's my favorite one. [UNKNOWN]: It's [UNKNOWN]: Quick, there is that play and they haven't run a bunch of cities now. [UNKNOWN]: It's like this game show place where you can do like teen building or And they have all of them have a planko. [UNKNOWN]: So, so, right? [UNKNOWN]: They like so good. [UNKNOWN]: I had, like, I need to tell this story about, because we're on Plica, and that's not even the topic of today. [UNKNOWN]: Because we're on Plica. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, this is the greatest story ever told about my go.

11:25 [UNKNOWN]: I was in Ohio with one of my clients and they split up into teams. [UNKNOWN]: So the main owner, yeah, I'm going to call them, you know, and the CEO, [UNKNOWN]: Wheel of Fortune, they had a bunch of the little games. [UNKNOWN]: You dream for like 10, 15 minutes each, and then they move on. [UNKNOWN]: And then there's a price is right, and there's a business. [UNKNOWN]: So then we have. [UNKNOWN]: who comes down to Plinco. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: The team I was on was not doing great. [UNKNOWN]: Beware. [UNKNOWN]: Bones. [UNKNOWN]: Like we had some great moments.

12:05 [UNKNOWN]: Like it wasn't like out of the rub, but the point is we're getting to a Plinco. [UNKNOWN]: And in order to win, you get double or triple point in someone landed in the middle thousand. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: we're all losing. [UNKNOWN]: We're all trying stuff. [UNKNOWN]: We're getting in 150. [UNKNOWN]: We're not going to catch up. [UNKNOWN]: There's no way to win this game without someone landing in the 1000. [UNKNOWN]: And so the CEO who's team I'm on goes up there and he's like, he's in clutch. [UNKNOWN]: He goes. [UNKNOWN]: Like he and he's doing this thing like he's sanding up at the top of this thing and he's folding the chip out more like what is he doing. [UNKNOWN]: And he's like I wonder how he's like I'm he's like doing the math and he's like looking at the angle of the pink abort now he literally takes his hand and drops it like straight into the thousand side he didn't drop it through the pin he went.

13:03 [UNKNOWN]: Go, because you can drop it from anywhere above this line. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it doesn't say that they didn't sit specified. [UNKNOWN]: And probably in the rules, it's specified if the chip has to touch in the board. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, but it wasn't. [UNKNOWN]: And they were like, we don't know. [UNKNOWN]: There's no rule about this. [UNKNOWN]: He land, it drops swoosh, plink, right in the thousand spot. [UNKNOWN]: Oh my gosh. [UNKNOWN]: Like Jesus. [UNKNOWN]: The man looked like, if there was, if there was a halo thing, it was the greatest. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, ever seen in my whole life damn it was magical and I was part of it and of course we win and now we're having that moment [UNKNOWN]: come from behind. [UNKNOWN]: You're a little bit scared, right?

13:44 [UNKNOWN]: Like you just come through. [UNKNOWN]: Totally undeserved. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, didn't answer questions correctly. [UNKNOWN]: Like it's just the month of that, when could it also deserve because that's happy. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: You can't. [UNKNOWN]: And it's like like a year ago. [UNKNOWN]: This is seared. [UNKNOWN]: into my mind. [UNKNOWN]: How amazing. [UNKNOWN]: Awesome. [UNKNOWN]: This moment. [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: It's like the bell. [UNKNOWN]: Plingo. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: It's my favorite. [UNKNOWN]: But they have that thing. [UNKNOWN]: And they have one here. [UNKNOWN]: I feel like that's like an ADD. [UNKNOWN]: My family freedom. [UNKNOWN]: It's not only just not focusing just on. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: One showcase showdown. [UNKNOWN]: Now you've got like all of the show. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Like all of you have big dice.

14:25 [UNKNOWN]: You can throw. [UNKNOWN]: See, I just feel like I. I. [UNKNOWN]: I feel like I probably would walk in there like I walk into Bucky's like, what's happening? [UNKNOWN]: Like, my kids love walking into Bucky's and it's so much because it's just like, there's shirts and we'll now there's some stuff. [UNKNOWN]: What's the smell? [UNKNOWN]: What's over here? [UNKNOWN]: What's over there? [UNKNOWN]: I don't know if you've ever watched it just now, like with Johanna and Scarlett Johansson. [UNKNOWN]: What's what what what I don't even know I'm in here. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know why I think I needed gas.

15:06 [UNKNOWN]: Did I pump the gas? [UNKNOWN]: I don't know so I feel like that would be this thing I had a purpose because we're going to look at the candy. [UNKNOWN]: Where the frick is the candy? [UNKNOWN]: And it's like seven miles down the store and the other side and now there's brisket now watching a guy cut up brisket and I'm like, well, this is like, and like, [UNKNOWN]: Okay, well, I guess I'm watching this now. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, like, I was like, did you want these like candy nuts? [UNKNOWN]: Why not? [UNKNOWN]: I don't know. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Do you want beaver nugget nuggets? [UNKNOWN]: And I'm like, that sounds awful. [UNKNOWN]: But it's just like a sexual, no, I don't. [UNKNOWN]: But what is it? [UNKNOWN]: Even the beaver nuggets that every is like, did you get the beaver nuggets and I'm like, I don't even know.

15:47 [UNKNOWN]: I gotta tell you, and as a California living in the South, when people are like, [UNKNOWN]: We're still excited. [UNKNOWN]: Bucky's this coming. [UNKNOWN]: Did you know about Bucky's? [UNKNOWN]: And I was like, what is Bucky's? [UNKNOWN]: I get the most magical place. [UNKNOWN]: It was Narnia before it was built. [UNKNOWN]: I called. [UNKNOWN]: And then we have a gas station. [UNKNOWN]: Big, what? [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: So it's like one of those pit stop attractions. [UNKNOWN]: Like those random things that show up on Route 66. [UNKNOWN]: Like that's it. [UNKNOWN]: And it's just this big, everybody was so excited about it. [UNKNOWN]: I call it branded Walmart. [UNKNOWN]: It's just, it's a Walmart. [UNKNOWN]: It's a beaver Walmart. [UNKNOWN]: It's like a super Walmart. [UNKNOWN]: It is. [UNKNOWN]: It's like a super Walmart, but beaver 711. [UNKNOWN]: Beaver, with gas, with gas. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah.

16:27 [UNKNOWN]: And so I couldn't figure it out. [UNKNOWN]: I can't either. [UNKNOWN]: So the same thing, they all said it was the best thing ever. [UNKNOWN]: First of all, I were so hyped up. [UNKNOWN]: Let me do this right. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Bucky's. [UNKNOWN]: It's where all your dreams come true. [UNKNOWN]: Please go there for their brisket. [UNKNOWN]: We love you. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: The fever nuggets are actually good. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: Sorry. [UNKNOWN]: It's fantastic. [UNKNOWN]: I highly recommend. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Gas is amazingly priced there. [UNKNOWN]: That's the bathrooms. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And also, not a lot. [UNKNOWN]: That's true. [UNKNOWN]: Because it's right by the Costco. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Gas Station too. [UNKNOWN]: It's a good competitive. [UNKNOWN]: It's pretty competitive. [UNKNOWN]: So, all that said, please, Bucky, there are many.

17:10 [UNKNOWN]: Find your closest location. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: And Bucky, highly recommend. [UNKNOWN]: Have your people contact, MIP. [UNKNOWN]: Just maybe, like when you're building something, like the hype. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, I said, they did the hype really well. [UNKNOWN]: And people love it, and there's all sorts of amazing things in there. [UNKNOWN]: They've done the branding well. [UNKNOWN]: But to me, it's like a branded Walmart. [UNKNOWN]: Everything you could get out of Walmart, just with a beaver on it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: There's like little things little snacks and next you can't get anywhere else. [UNKNOWN]: No, and they're jerky that are good from every like a old jerky wall Like I didn't know I needed a jerky wall, but I guess they do yeah, but yes, when we first moved here and then like it was coming Every video is so excited and I thought like I said I thought this is like the gateway to Narnia Yeah, I mean I guess it is in summer guards because again clean as bathrooms amazing [UNKNOWN]: But I was just there as delightful.

17:58 [UNKNOWN]: It's delightful. [UNKNOWN]: But I had to say I was like thinking that this is going to be some amazing restaurant or some amazing like store. [UNKNOWN]: And so when it was a gas station, I did not get it. [UNKNOWN]: And like in California, it's like, I don't go to the Chevron and be like, guys, guess where I want to do the day Chevron. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, but it's swag game. [UNKNOWN]: Chevron swag game is like, and Bucky's just figured it out. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, hey, I'm going to be on that. [UNKNOWN]: of a bronze beaver, and specifically the Nescott. [UNKNOWN]: Just go ahead of all the, all the things. [UNKNOWN]: Ladies, are my dealers were on the bronze beaver. [UNKNOWN]: Bever, you go, rub up on that bronze beaver.

18:41 [UNKNOWN]: Like everybody else that takes a picture, like it's a Disney land and I just like, hey, I can't help but not laugh at that. [UNKNOWN]: But everybody's just like wearing beaver merch. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, please, when you, what? [UNKNOWN]: Out of all the, all the mascots that you could have had. [UNKNOWN]: It was the trusty beaver. [UNKNOWN]: Not even shame. [UNKNOWN]: Look, the beaver is trusty. [UNKNOWN]: That beaver can just, it is real life. [UNKNOWN]: Well, workhorse, you know, that beaver's doing the Lord's work. [UNKNOWN]: I barely over there because every single one of them has every single beaver there is just nail in it.

19:24 [UNKNOWN]: You know, look, keep on coming back for more. [UNKNOWN]: Look, I really want a brand deal. [UNKNOWN]: So there is no in you window. [UNKNOWN]: There's no end-to-end in this bedroom. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know what you guys were thinking. [UNKNOWN]: I'm just saying. [UNKNOWN]: There's nothing here. [UNKNOWN]: There's no there. [UNKNOWN]: There's no inappropriateness of the laughing at. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: It's just amazing. [UNKNOWN]: That's all beepers are. [UNKNOWN]: As a marketer, I might tell you. [UNKNOWN]: We might want to move on to a different endorsement. [UNKNOWN]: I'm a vegetarian. [UNKNOWN]: So as you're talking about the jerky wall and the proskeal. [UNKNOWN]: You don't have the jerky wall. [UNKNOWN]: There's literally, there's almost nothing food-wise, but it's a good to me.

20:05 [UNKNOWN]: When I go in there, there's nothing to be even. [UNKNOWN]: They're just a puffy. [UNKNOWN]: I've never tried them. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, I didn't want to because again, be even. [UNKNOWN]: Exactly. [UNKNOWN]: It sounds like something that you would seek medical attention for. [UNKNOWN]: Like I feel like I should, right? [UNKNOWN]: I feel like there's a few things that I'm actually constantly. [UNKNOWN]: I feel like there's something like products in there that I'm like somebody had fun with this. [UNKNOWN]: But no one. [UNKNOWN]: It's like when the person who makes a mistake and they're like, oh, you know exactly what they're doing and then they get fired later. [UNKNOWN]: You know what I'm saying? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, like the Disney. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: You know, when they draw something, they shouldn't draw at the animator. [UNKNOWN]: And let's see if I can get away with this.

20:45 [UNKNOWN]: And they do. [UNKNOWN]: All of you. [UNKNOWN]: Then they get like fired 20 years later because they're like you drew a penis on him. [UNKNOWN]: What you know like those kinds of things. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, you're not getting a brand deal with But he's not that's all right. [UNKNOWN]: Well, the other comment one day. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, Harvey says the beef. [UNKNOWN]: And I don't have any beef. [UNKNOWN]: You don't eat beef. [UNKNOWN]: That's it. [UNKNOWN]: Let's say that. [UNKNOWN]: It's like interesting interesting. [UNKNOWN]: It's important. [UNKNOWN]: I'm not choosing the right products. [UNKNOWN]: No, you're really dumb. [UNKNOWN]: Delta though, 100% we love you. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and we would really like a summer deal. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, we would have a highly recommend actually the in truth be told I did I switched to Delta to rack up the loyalty points and yeah and and the experience they decided recently like [UNKNOWN]: The low-end discount model is saturated and it's not profitable and it's hard and people are pissed off that they have no room and it's actually like you're getting on a bus but shouldier.

21:43 [UNKNOWN]: Like this is a shittier experience than getting on a bus or a train at this point. [UNKNOWN]: And so they're like, well, we'll go the luxury way and make, make seats cushionier, get we'll have less passengers but we'll charge more and it is not cheap. [UNKNOWN]: going with Delta is not cheap, but I appreciated not being stressed out, not being yelled at, not being like because your user experience is so much better. [UNKNOWN]: I went with one of my claims and we were the Delta business class and I knew that you're not there was a handwritten note on our seats saying thank you for being a business like member or Delta member or something. [UNKNOWN]: I can't remember. [UNKNOWN]: Now we paid $1,000 for that cardstock.

22:25 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: It was worth it. [UNKNOWN]: But it was worth it because it's like I we just with that client we never go on Delta. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah and I anytime I have a choice I always go to Delta and same and I used to be a Southwest girlie. [UNKNOWN]: I do sometimes I stop when they stop the back policy. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, that was the number one thing. [UNKNOWN]: Because I used to get fondled in the airport. [UNKNOWN]: And so I don't bring like toiletries or anything in my carry on, even though I have TSA pre, I have a lot of things. [UNKNOWN]: I don't do that because I just don't like going into the little room. [UNKNOWN]: I don't like being pulled to the side.

23:05 [UNKNOWN]: I don't like having someone pat me down. [UNKNOWN]: So I put almost everything in a check bag. [UNKNOWN]: And in my carry on is literally things. [UNKNOWN]: I'm going to use on the flight on the flight or in my while I'm traveling that day. [UNKNOWN]: Like I need [UNKNOWN]: You know, things for that night in case my bag is missing, but that's it. [UNKNOWN]: I check all almost every time and people are like that's so inefficient and whatever. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like Well, if you've been fondled with you to get anything put into a room. [UNKNOWN]: I gotta say I think they see me and I like not that girl. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I think I've done to the fair ear off there. [UNKNOWN]: Let's let her go through it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, no. [UNKNOWN]: I very rarely have a big deal. [UNKNOWN]: And it was not this thing about it. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I graduated high school a couple years after 9.11.

23:47 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Everything was still a big thing. [UNKNOWN]: And I was, you know, I came in and adult during that era. [UNKNOWN]: And that's when I was like, I can't even have shampoo in my bag. [UNKNOWN]: So I check everything and with Southwest. [UNKNOWN]: You can check two bags. [UNKNOWN]: And that's perfect for me. [UNKNOWN]: I'm traveling for a week and a half, two weeks. [UNKNOWN]: I have two cases. [UNKNOWN]: Look, here's the thing. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Because I know, I know there are so many people who will go like, hardcore, I am a backpack traveling. [UNKNOWN]: I have a pair of shorts. [UNKNOWN]: I have two pairs of underwear. [UNKNOWN]: I'll go to the hustle and do my laundry.

24:27 [UNKNOWN]: Like they're at that. [UNKNOWN]: They have a pair of tennis shoes and they can do that and they're like, I don't bring more than a backpack carry on anywhere, no matter how long I'm going. [UNKNOWN]: I'm going on a three weeks or farie. [UNKNOWN]: I have a backpack carry on. [UNKNOWN]: Or maybe I have a roll of war, but that's literally that's it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I am not that person. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: I am Indian. [UNKNOWN]: And so I need to shower every day. [UNKNOWN]: There'd be like, I think there's this thing where like white people don't need to shower every day. [UNKNOWN]: Or they have this thing where they shower every third day. [UNKNOWN]: I'm just going to say they probably should. [UNKNOWN]: But that's just my opinion. [UNKNOWN]: There's this thing that says there's no health benefits to showering every day and like performative.

25:08 [UNKNOWN]: And I'm like, then health benefit is that your co-workers won't kill you. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Like, just saying, I get oily. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I feel it throughout the day. [UNKNOWN]: I can feel myself. [UNKNOWN]: being dirty. [UNKNOWN]: And so I need to shower every single day. [UNKNOWN]: And my clothes because I'm Indian, everything I eat emanates out my pores. [UNKNOWN]: Everything doesn't matter whether it's Indian food, American food, doesn't matter what it is. [UNKNOWN]: It's going to come. [UNKNOWN]: If if I've had an onion, you're going to know about it. [UNKNOWN]: If I've had cake, you're going to know about it. [UNKNOWN]: It comes in through my sweat in my port. [UNKNOWN]: And so now that's [UNKNOWN]: I can't, like, some people can wear a pair of jeans or wear something more than once.

25:52 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: They're like, I can wear this the next day. [UNKNOWN]: I cannot. [UNKNOWN]: I can't every article of clothing. [UNKNOWN]: I can only wear one. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so think about like traveling my perspective on traveling is I'm sharing every day. [UNKNOWN]: I have to have different set of clothes for every single bit. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: On top of that, I like to be an active traveler. [UNKNOWN]: So, you know, I'm wearing something to go to bed and I wake up. [UNKNOWN]: I need to throw something on to, you know, disheveled to go get breakfast downstairs. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: So in a camping my pajamas, because like I have Perry menopausal night sweats, I'm wet. [UNKNOWN]: Like I need to put on dry clothes.

26:33 [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm not gonna put on dry clothes over my soaking wet. [UNKNOWN]: I'm gonna put on the hair. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: So I was throwing something on, going at breakfast, coming back up, showering. [UNKNOWN]: Then we're gonna go do a hike or something, something active, sweaty. [UNKNOWN]: There's a whole another set of underwear. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: It's a whole other, [UNKNOWN]: Do you have the person who packs like 85 pairs? [UNKNOWN]: Yes, and I'm not shooting myself. [UNKNOWN]: Should I stop? [UNKNOWN]: It's not about the shit. [UNKNOWN]: It's about the sweat. [UNKNOWN]: We talked about this, too, because then whatever you wear at night, maybe you need different underwear for that. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: Maybe you need support of underwear for your hike. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: Sexy underwear for your night out. [UNKNOWN]: Well, I'm old. [UNKNOWN]: So, you know. [UNKNOWN]: Maybe not like compression.

27:13 [UNKNOWN]: Maybe you do anything. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know. [UNKNOWN]: I'm just like, yeah, a dinner. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: You need the right garment or whatever to wear to dinner. [UNKNOWN]: Like you're doing different things. [UNKNOWN]: You go on a hike. [UNKNOWN]: And they're like, well, let's spend the afternoon at the pool. [UNKNOWN]: And then we're going to go to dinner. [UNKNOWN]: That's three different activities, requiring three different. [UNKNOWN]: And then Moses holds days, and then you might need a rain jacket, you might need a sweater because I get cold and I need like I just need and I can't wear the same in thing twice. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, as soon as I fit on, and he's wet, he's going to smell like whatever I eat. [UNKNOWN]: And then also with sweaters and clothes, I am the curvy lady.

27:56 [UNKNOWN]: Those are not built for curvy people, even when they're stretched. [UNKNOWN]: So they're stretched, but once you've worn it now, it's stretched. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: So it's beating, even though it's not where it like I took it off after the hike and tried to put it back on, it's beating. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, the way it should. [UNKNOWN]: I don't look the way I should. [UNKNOWN]: So then that's done. [UNKNOWN]: That got four hours of use. [UNKNOWN]: So now you're done for the week and then I am you need lip flops you need tennis shoes for all the walking you're doing flip flops for the pool or the beach or wherever you're going or breakfast breakfast. [UNKNOWN]: whatever shoes go with the outfit that you're wearing for dinner and and I will typically pick my shoes out and go this is my color palette.

28:39 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and so now everything goes with this set of shoes. [UNKNOWN]: So in order to bring multiples but then there are places times where you're traveling and you've got an event. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, which is a were a specific requirement, which is a specific shoe requirement. [UNKNOWN]: So now I have a badge. [UNKNOWN]: So one of my bags is toiletries and shoes and the other bag is clothes and typically at the end of it, the bag with toiletries and shoes now gets converted to like the dirty clothes bag and that big bag has all the dirty clothes of mine, my husband's my son, all of that gets piled in the there and then we just redistribute the clean stuff. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, that we didn't use.

29:19 [UNKNOWN]: I will say, and I also need option. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know if I'm going to blow it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I don't know if I'm in a want my thighs rub together, mood today. [UNKNOWN]: Maybe today's not a skirt day. [UNKNOWN]: I thought I would be in a skirt day when I was packing. [UNKNOWN]: I thought it would be a skirt day. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And then I realized, no, this is a short stay. [UNKNOWN]: This is it. [UNKNOWN]: day. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, but I only brought the skirt. [UNKNOWN]: I don't want to be, but you don't want to be limited. [UNKNOWN]: So listen, I grew up in a household that it was like, I always say it's like bringing raised by business associates, not necessarily like, yeah, parents. [UNKNOWN]: And I have one older brother and very competitive and very competitive family. [UNKNOWN]: And one of the things that I don't know [UNKNOWN]: It goes just born into it, but I hated it is that we, and if we were traveling, it was almost like the person who packed the glass wins.

30:06 [UNKNOWN]: And I'm a girl, right? [UNKNOWN]: I need some options. [UNKNOWN]: I need some makeup, I need some hair stuff. [UNKNOWN]: My brother was like, I got the backpack. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, cool, screw you. [UNKNOWN]: I don't. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I'd always lose the game because I was like, how big of a bag we're doing is everybody is like, we're carrying on. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, [UNKNOWN]: But I have bigger things that don't fit in the right lot of creaks. [UNKNOWN]: And I haste care and the curling iron. [UNKNOWN]: So if you they try to make it. [UNKNOWN]: So yeah, why don't you? [UNKNOWN]: It's not even toiletries. [UNKNOWN]: I got a bag of makeup and people think like, oh, you just have that like, there's a little bit. [UNKNOWN]: No, I have foundation and then you put that in something separate. [UNKNOWN]: And it was almost like if you made my family wait at the baggage claim, you were the worst person ever.

30:50 [UNKNOWN]: And then I like left obviously in the male life and realize I can wait in the baggage claim and no one gives you shit. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so then vacation. [UNKNOWN]: We're going. [UNKNOWN]: I love the most when I travel with clients that um overpacked because if I bring two bags, they're bringing four and I love it because it validates the fact that it's like we're going to be at that baggage claim blood hour and I'm fine with it because then I get to bring all my options and yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I'm also a traveler. [UNKNOWN]: This is the thing that I hate sometimes about my own self is I'm a little just down So and every hotel you say I need a down like a feather free room Half of them don't understand what that means when I've traveled like oh, it's not there's no down And then I'm feeling it.

31:31 [UNKNOWN]: I might know this is down down down Yeah, people let us give you the other option and it's still down. [UNKNOWN]: So yeah, I am like a kid at summer camp who brings her own her own pillow Yeah, at this point in time girl. [UNKNOWN]: I have went and bought [UNKNOWN]: like thinner pillows from like Walmart, you know, there was I take it and I just leave it there. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Because it's just like I just got to get there and not get sick throughout the week. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I will leave the pillow there. [UNKNOWN]: And then like the next trip, I will have another pillow. [UNKNOWN]: And I know that sounds awful and you know, whatever. [UNKNOWN]: But if you have an allergy, like I will get stuffy and I can't afford to get that sick. [UNKNOWN]: So I am the kid that brings [UNKNOWN]: And that takes the path of suitcase right it is not it.

32:11 [UNKNOWN]: No, yeah, it's not the vibe. [UNKNOWN]: So that's the point where I'm like no, I have two suitcases and this is what it's going to be and you know what I packed my whole full sequence dress just in case. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, I want to look like a disco ball going out and they're just also a subtle dress in case I don't right I got an option. [UNKNOWN]: I need. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know what we're going to be in. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know what mood I'm going to be in. [UNKNOWN]: And I don't know if they're going to be incompetent with their down, because I have to be militant in that. [UNKNOWN]: And so it just like, it always takes some of the fun out of it. [UNKNOWN]: But then it's like, yeah, don't travel with me. [UNKNOWN]: If you don't want to be a baggage plane. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I'm going to be a baggage line. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, because I don't want to be where I'm going. [UNKNOWN]: I'm comfortable. [UNKNOWN]: Because if I'm uncomfortable and I'm minimalistic, I'm going to be upset.

32:54 [UNKNOWN]: I'm going to be fucking grumpy and I've had plenty of time where a shoe has broken. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I've had plenty of times where things have exploded. [UNKNOWN]: I have, yeah, and now I'm just being stuck. [UNKNOWN]: And so I'd rather just be safe and prepared for everything that I need. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm also the friend that if you're going to tell me that we're in a city and we're going to go shopping. [UNKNOWN]: I'm down. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm going to get another suitcase. [UNKNOWN]: Whoever we went shopping. [UNKNOWN]: Because I'm that friend. [UNKNOWN]: I'm not the friend that's going to be like, well, you don't need that. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, I get it. [UNKNOWN]: It's beautiful. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I am that friend. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and this is why I'm not allowed to travel with you. [UNKNOWN]: That's probably the reason. [UNKNOWN]: I swear, there's been so many times with people I travel, they're like, I think we're going to go in and eat another suitcase.

33:35 [UNKNOWN]: And I like pull out a duffle bag that I'm just holding up. [UNKNOWN]: So I do that to when I know I'm going to go shopping. [UNKNOWN]: And I typically don't shop. [UNKNOWN]: Because, you know, I'm always traveling with family and like my husband doesn't like to shop my son like to shop his employees with boys. [UNKNOWN]: So I'm not shopping and everything so Christ anyway, like all my stuff from China. [UNKNOWN]: Like listen, I will always say yes to a TJ Maxx or Marshall. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, where I go. [UNKNOWN]: So that's where yeah, that's where I will I will I will fit. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, but everything else. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I'm down for some frost if you tell me we're going anthropology. [UNKNOWN]: Hey beautiful stuff I'm not gonna spend a hundred and eighty dollars on a top, but you tell me T.J. Max Yeah, I walk out of there with a hundred and eighty dollars like enough stuff I'll have a calf can and I will have that as you know like a pillow I'll have some of this for my dog.

34:25 [UNKNOWN]: I'll have a yeah, but yeah, I will do that every day And that so when I know I'm gonna go shopping just like you I've packed a little bag in my bag for my extra bag. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah [UNKNOWN]: I think it's my merch, right? [UNKNOWN]: I went, I went on a store and I got, and I got some of the best things. [UNKNOWN]: Those are my souvenirs. [UNKNOWN]: I don't need that. [UNKNOWN]: And I like the tall branded shit. [UNKNOWN]: I need, I need to go to their TJ Maxx. [UNKNOWN]: I need to know their TJ Maxx. [UNKNOWN]: I don't want their logo like I went to keep kind of. [UNKNOWN]: No, I'm doing the shit at TJ Maxx, which I could probably find in my own. [UNKNOWN]: No, but you can't, because you just don't deserve it. [UNKNOWN]: There's so different and I love little so much more Planel there. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it's just more I'm like, what am I gonna find a day?

35:09 [UNKNOWN]: But yes, I Yeah, same with like little boutiques like I like interesting little Well, yes, and I love to shop local when I travel I I always make it a point to go to [UNKNOWN]: And I don't care that it's massively or price. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know, they're gouging the tourists again, but I love finding a local autism, making some kind of purse or earring or whatever it is. [UNKNOWN]: And this is their small business side hustle and they're selling me some over-priced thing. [UNKNOWN]: And I don't care because I put some money into the economy that's right here. [UNKNOWN]: Like that's I want to do that. [UNKNOWN]: I want to do that. [UNKNOWN]: I want to support those local businesses. [UNKNOWN]: You do the local, and then you do like the TJ Maxx. [UNKNOWN]: And then it's called Bowen.

35:49 [UNKNOWN]: It really is. [UNKNOWN]: You just kind of balance it out. [UNKNOWN]: So yes, depending on where we are, that's what I will do. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: And so now I'm realizing we absolutely miss a trap. [UNKNOWN]: Are you funny enough? [UNKNOWN]: We were at a location traveling. [UNKNOWN]: It's just you came in later. [UNKNOWN]: And you're there for like business. [UNKNOWN]: And it was a kind of different vibe. [UNKNOWN]: And I was with boys most of the time. [UNKNOWN]: So I was like laser focus. [UNKNOWN]: And then it was, yeah, we didn't, and I typically, when I travel for work, I don't do anything. [UNKNOWN]: I don't shop. [UNKNOWN]: I don't have fun. [UNKNOWN]: I don't go out to the restaurants. [UNKNOWN]: I don't go out, exploring by myself. [UNKNOWN]: I don't. [UNKNOWN]: I work a 12, 16 hour day, go back to the hotel or the Airbnb.

36:31 [UNKNOWN]: Order Taco Bell and go to sleep. [UNKNOWN]: Taco Bell is a fantastic establishment, especially for vegetarian. [UNKNOWN]: 100 degree taco bell. [UNKNOWN]: That's an endorsement that yes, I want I could get that I I eat a lot of I don't want to talk about you like I'm like the go-to that just doesn't hurt my stomach funny And yeah, yeah, everybody always says like you don't hurt your stomach, but it doesn't but so the vegetarian stuff the Stuff made with beans like I have I have a fantastic time right, but I have to say like as you get older You kind of need that movement down there [UNKNOWN]: And so some for it. [UNKNOWN]: So I've had that conversation with my husband. [UNKNOWN]: I know people when they travel, they get they don't they can't use the restroom.

37:14 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, hotels or in public places. [UNKNOWN]: They can't. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, they're fucked up for at least a week. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, or like three days like being back. [UNKNOWN]: I am. [UNKNOWN]: miserable. [UNKNOWN]: I, I take my digestive health so seriously. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: And Indian diets are like Indian food is designed through millennia for digestion. [UNKNOWN]: It's, she's gonna sneeze and I'm like looking at it going and I just ruined it because that will go in here. [UNKNOWN]: You're right. [UNKNOWN]: Thank you. [UNKNOWN]: Makes me say that that it goes back in. [UNKNOWN]: No, has someone there?

37:55 [UNKNOWN]: Designed for digestion. [UNKNOWN]: It's designed to keep the body moving along. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know a life where I'm backed up, so if I ever feel and I felt that during pregnancy, and I felt at a very points of my life, I'm miserable. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, let's go to the Walgreens. [UNKNOWN]: I need everything that will push this out immediately, because I will not allow this to be in my body. [UNKNOWN]: So even when I travel, my diet, like I try to eat fiber, rich food, while I'm on vacation because the idea of having [UNKNOWN]: I don't. [UNKNOWN]: I don't because I feel sick.

38:35 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I don't like feeling sick. [UNKNOWN]: Honestly, okay, so I had digestive issues, right, and it was one of the Nurses was telling me about Megbie's game situation, right, and I haven't tried that yet. [UNKNOWN]: So just take it and I was like, okay, it's disgusting. [UNKNOWN]: It's awful. [UNKNOWN]: Oh my gosh, girl I have a sinning story because I was I was in a way, right? [UNKNOWN]: Obviously if you're deciding to go that route [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah, you got some issues. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so I get it. [UNKNOWN]: And because I don't know what was going on. [UNKNOWN]: I didn't read it quick. [UNKNOWN]: I thought it was 10 milliliters than you two, which is like a little nice woke up little kids Tylenol. [UNKNOWN]: And I took that and I'm like, I'm not feeling anything is just that I was going to be like by the toilet.

39:18 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, like two days straight. [UNKNOWN]: And I was like, oh, well, bless her heart. [UNKNOWN]: I just assume. [UNKNOWN]: That you're micro-dose, you can't even realize it. [UNKNOWN]: And I was just like, okay, well thanks. [UNKNOWN]: She's like, did it work? [UNKNOWN]: And I was like, I didn't want to hurt her feelings. [UNKNOWN]: I was like, yeah, did thing. [UNKNOWN]: And it was, it took a month later. [UNKNOWN]: And I was like, oh, I kind of feeling a little bit back down and I read it. [UNKNOWN]: I was like, I was supposed to drink the whole thing. [UNKNOWN]: And so I finally took the whole thing. [UNKNOWN]: Well, crap, literally, like, I could hear my, like, intestines, like, what is, is it a drink drain out?

39:59 [UNKNOWN]: You know, and you're the like, you're the way that's it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, is you drink the by a like, and that's the way. [UNKNOWN]: And I have to say, I had to go back to her and be like, I am so sorry, I thought you were full of shit, but it turns out that I was, and I am not anymore, because I stopped micro dosing. [UNKNOWN]: It just thought, it's fun and I thought it was milliliters. [UNKNOWN]: I was like, I am such an idiot. [UNKNOWN]: So it was definitely what we call an ID 10T. [UNKNOWN]: It's like when you do ID and then 10 and T, it spells 80 it. [UNKNOWN]: And so my husband and I T, I had tech talk, he'd be like, oh, it sounds like this is an ID 10T problem. [UNKNOWN]: And they'd be like, oh, yeah, he's basically call you an idiot.

40:41 [UNKNOWN]: and no one got it. [UNKNOWN]: It was just like, yep, it is an ID 10. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it sounds like that. [UNKNOWN]: By the way, that is a fantastic t-shirt. [UNKNOWN]: I would like to have me. [UNKNOWN]: I would like to trademark this and have this on my merch. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: I done. [UNKNOWN]: Done. [UNKNOWN]: We'll just start the heat pressing them together. [UNKNOWN]: But yes, so yes, you definitely need your staff. [UNKNOWN]: You definitely need clean bells. [UNKNOWN]: Good. [UNKNOWN]: And then a plan. [UNKNOWN]: And I think that's the thing that I struggle [UNKNOWN]: Usually I like at least on my and my family. [UNKNOWN]: It's on me. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah, I okay. [UNKNOWN]: So And I'm very fortunate my husband He traveled well, and he traveled for a living when I met him.

41:23 [UNKNOWN]: So he's been he spent every week on a plane when I met him Yeah, he was a he was a consultant. [UNKNOWN]: He was on a plane. [UNKNOWN]: He was like one of those million mile guides. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah He he plans our vacations for a variety of reasons the biggest ones being I'm a cheap Indian [UNKNOWN]: And so we would literally, if we were up to me, go to the motel six with the cigarette burns and do you pay? [UNKNOWN]: You may or may not get my bags. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And we may or may not be like, I may go to like whatever place and make peanut burglars. [UNKNOWN]: It like we're going to, we're going to slum it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And and I, so I'm not allowed to. [UNKNOWN]: You're not allowed to do the planning.

42:05 [UNKNOWN]: And he won't show me how much he spends on things for vacation because if I saw the price tag, I would have a heart attack and die because you would be packing the peanut butter and jelly. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it would be like, or I would be working to be like, I need to like double work to afford this trip. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so like I get sticker shock anything with a comma in it. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: I freak out. [UNKNOWN]: and all the logistical stuff for travel and the other big part of it is aside from and I've learned in my older age let's some of that go like I knew my parents were like that it's poverty mentality I get why but part of having any amount of money whether you have a little or a lot is we only have one life you gotta you gotta enjoy some of it [UNKNOWN]: some of it.

42:56 [UNKNOWN]: And you honestly, for your brain, you do have to have something to look forward. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I don't. [UNKNOWN]: And I typically don't. [UNKNOWN]: And so I thought to be my my psychologist, mother. [UNKNOWN]: It was like, you know, we always have a vacation plan. [UNKNOWN]: Now, necessary with her children, but with some of the other, but she had a plan. [UNKNOWN]: And that's in that smart. [UNKNOWN]: And I don't do it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And like Steve, thank you for the free therapy. [UNKNOWN]: You're welcome. [UNKNOWN]: I didn't need to spend $200. [UNKNOWN]: There you go. [UNKNOWN]: I'll give you my bill at the end of it. [UNKNOWN]: Um, but the other one is if I plan it, now I'm planning it and now I'm responding. [UNKNOWN]: So now it's like, what's the itinerary? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, you where you need to go, make sure you're dressed appropriately and packed appropriately, make sure that everybody's okay, make sure that everybody's having fun. [UNKNOWN]: Now it's my trip.

43:36 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And when it's my trip, I feel that weight. [UNKNOWN]: of it and I can't enjoy it because it's not fun for the person's planning it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and so I know that typically falls on women and I know so many are going on summer vacations and they're going with their kids and they're going to be the family, they're going on cruises, they're going through. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, theme parks and they're planning the whole thing. [UNKNOWN]: And when I think about like taking vacations as a parent, [UNKNOWN]: That's not a vacation. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, no, it's a work trip. [UNKNOWN]: It's a work trip. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, I've always, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Anytime you're with kids, it's a work trip. [UNKNOWN]: It's a work trip is you can't rest. [UNKNOWN]: You're not sleeping. [UNKNOWN]: You're in a hotel. [UNKNOWN]: You know, everybody's snoring like it's a whole thing. [UNKNOWN]: And then the half the time they're whining and like they had the greatest time, but then one little thing went wrong.

44:21 [UNKNOWN]: They're like, this is the worst vacation. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And like not that you didn't just kill yourself to make sure that everybody had a great time. [UNKNOWN]: So I get this threat. [UNKNOWN]: Like I feel like summer. [UNKNOWN]: We think of it in this idyllic sense of like going to the polka nose in the 1950s like yeah, we're going to those are okay and nobody works and like we all have August off, but really and money still coming in and now your kids are not at school or you're spending for summer camp, so now you have the bad expense. [UNKNOWN]: Summer is a very stressful. [UNKNOWN]: It really is, and I think I've been on both sides of this. [UNKNOWN]: I've been on a side where I wasn't working with summer kids, and when I have been working, and I have my own business.

45:03 [UNKNOWN]: And there's different, there's frozen constia each, but there's still stresses on both sides, because when you're there every day, it's like, no, and bored. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and you still have normal life things to do. [UNKNOWN]: Right, in either way. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and it seems like [UNKNOWN]: don't want to do that. [UNKNOWN]: They forget about that, right? [UNKNOWN]: I said to tell my kids, like, you still have to do your chores. [UNKNOWN]: You started to do this, at least you still have to, like, right, your sports. [UNKNOWN]: Because I, I never was a summer camp kind of girl. [UNKNOWN]: Like, we never did camps. [UNKNOWN]: We never didn't even do that. [UNKNOWN]: Yep. [UNKNOWN]: So when I became a parent, I had, I remember my first introduction to summer. [UNKNOWN]: Like even the idea it was when I was living in San Jose, California, so super wealthy area, Silicon Valley, everybody would be showing up to this like preschool and they're like like decked out in labels Louis Vuitton and Gucci and [UNKNOWN]: head to toe and I was showing up in my band T-shirt yeah and some jeans like with my van that we've got for cash from a friend that you did like double tap to get open and here they're in the state he's been for roweries and I'm like double tap in the van to get it open.

46:09 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I remember this woman was just like, well, let's sum up. [UNKNOWN]: I'm sorry you're putting your children in jail. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: No, it's where do you do you do this? [UNKNOWN]: So what do you sum up and what camps are you putting your children in? [UNKNOWN]: And it was very much that mentality. [UNKNOWN]: And I remember this woman telling me, like, what she was putting her son who just finished preschool might you. [UNKNOWN]: So very young. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, it was 30 grand worth of camps. [UNKNOWN]: One was a Lego engineering camp. [UNKNOWN]: And I was like, what? [UNKNOWN]: She's like, with her meditation, how to build a Lego? [UNKNOWN]: I was like, okay, hear me out. [UNKNOWN]: So this spending 10 grand on that, bring them to my house. [UNKNOWN]: I will have all the Legos. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I will teach that child how to build whatever you want on a Legos, and I'll charge you two.

46:50 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: That sounds fair to me. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, no. [UNKNOWN]: No, it's the prestige. [UNKNOWN]: Is the prestige the prestige? [UNKNOWN]: So I just realized it was like, that was my, I, she was like, what's yours? [UNKNOWN]: Like, my camp is going into the backyard and putting the sprinklers on. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and running through the sprinklers. [UNKNOWN]: We're going to my parents' house and playing in their pool. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, we're playing with friends. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and if I were, so I'm, again, fortunate. [UNKNOWN]: Ryan, technically, doesn't have to go to camp. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, because Bruce is home and he works from home and he can be with Ryan all day. [UNKNOWN]: super fortunate because I work and he's home and he doesn't bus stops in the and the pickups in the and the lunches and all the stuff like he's amazing, amazing dad and so he Ryan could stay home all day it's not going to be a problem but my my problem with one I only I only have Ryan so he's an only child [UNKNOWN]: This kid needs to be good kids.

47:46 [UNKNOWN]: He needs to get out. [UNKNOWN]: He needs to be with other children. [UNKNOWN]: It shouldn't be all of his plays structure around playing with adults or talking to adults. [UNKNOWN]: Because he very much wants to be in adult conversation. [UNKNOWN]: Like he wants to sit at the adult table and he will chime in. [UNKNOWN]: He will communicate. [UNKNOWN]: Like he wants to be part of a serious conversation. [UNKNOWN]: And I look at him and like maybe you need some kids. [UNKNOWN]: like you need yes you need to be talking about farts yeah and you good you need to be doing wrestling moves you shouldn't be doing you need to be hitting each other with pillows you need to be like out and doing that and like I was raised by a TV the fact that it's on iPad now to me is irrelevant.

48:26 [UNKNOWN]: I spent eight hours a day and that's fine. [UNKNOWN]: I'm relatively well adjusted. [UNKNOWN]: I'm only spending a little bit of money on a podcast in my 40s to deal with how well adjusted I am. [UNKNOWN]: It gave me a good sense of humor. [UNKNOWN]: Same. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, same. [UNKNOWN]: And I have two boys that are five years apart. [UNKNOWN]: So that's almost like they're, yeah, we chatted on both of them. [UNKNOWN]: So I have kids that. [UNKNOWN]: And my sibling doesn't have any children. [UNKNOWN]: We are not close to my husband's family. [UNKNOWN]: So I've always like, we'll play with the other kids. [UNKNOWN]: And they kind of wanted to hang out with me. [UNKNOWN]: And it's like, hey, no, they have their friends. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, they'll give me wrong. [UNKNOWN]: They've been socialized, they have their friends. [UNKNOWN]: But I do notice that they gravitate more to maybe more serious than silly.

49:11 [UNKNOWN]: Yes, because my husband and I are in our own elements of work. [UNKNOWN]: And I think sometimes they just want them to be silly. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And lighthearted. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: And maybe that's just found on their card because I don't think I ever got those opportunities to be just silly. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I'm doing it now. [UNKNOWN]: I'm doing it now. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm doing it now. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm doing like prices and things silly. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I for him. [UNKNOWN]: I want that. [UNKNOWN]: I want him to have a child eventually. [UNKNOWN]: I do want him to try. [UNKNOWN]: sleep away camp. [UNKNOWN]: My husband didn't have a great experience at sleep away camp when he was young. [UNKNOWN]: It was more forced on them. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Then it was like a choice. [UNKNOWN]: And there's a whole friend dynamic and the clicky dynamic. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Going you want to go kind of sell dynamic. [UNKNOWN]: Just okay. [UNKNOWN]: You know. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so if you're going to go and like all of that.

49:52 [UNKNOWN]: So. [UNKNOWN]: I do want him to have this experience, but we ended up putting him in a camp where we knew other kids that are his friends are going, so he'll have his friends there and have a great time. [UNKNOWN]: But it's hard and we were just talking about this the other day because like when you work a nine to five. [UNKNOWN]: And for small business owners, you're working us seven to ten. [UNKNOWN]: 24 p.m. 7 a.m. [UNKNOWN]: The 10 p.m. 7 days a week and or you have a heavy job like you're a doctor or a lawyer or whatever. [UNKNOWN]: Like, and even if you don't have those things, work is work and it's hard, it's hard to disconnect, it's hard to connect. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and you're exhausted, and now you think about, well, they were in school, and then I've had them in before care after care, and then they come home, and now some are campus stay, yeah, or they're out at three o'clock.

50:46 [UNKNOWN]: There is no after care. [UNKNOWN]: Someone has to be home because there isn't a place like you can't send them to the library from three to five. [UNKNOWN]: You can't send them to the park from three to five. [UNKNOWN]: You can't send them anywhere. [UNKNOWN]: There's nowhere to go for these kids in the evening when peer when parents are still working and then you're paying for that. [UNKNOWN]: So now you have the added expense. [UNKNOWN]: So it's just like we mean my husband we're just talking about this going. [UNKNOWN]: This 8 to 10 weeks of summer. [UNKNOWN]: is harder on parents and families when money is an issue. [UNKNOWN]: And I think it's come compounding on each other because I think if you do, let's say you do bite the bowl and let's see you do a Disney cruise on one side.

51:30 [UNKNOWN]: Well then the next summer it's like what are we doing that was like that. [UNKNOWN]: And then it's like the expectation keeps the full post. [UNKNOWN]: I think for parents keeps getting further and further away. [UNKNOWN]: And it's not necessarily anybody setting that I think maybe we do it to ourselves, but I also think it's really hard to look around and say, well, Sally and her family are going to the, you know, like Bahamas for seven weeks, you know, or they're flying, um, you know, Italy and doing a whole and I think that. [UNKNOWN]: That's great for them. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I think sometimes it's apparent we're always constantly looking and saying like, oh my gosh, am I measuring anything that's where some of the problems are coming because I feel like we, I mean, you're never going to feel like you're measuring up. [UNKNOWN]: Those gold posts are always going to be moving.

52:11 [UNKNOWN]: Well, and also with the summer sports, and I know there's tournaments, and my son has a birthday in the summer. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: So we always because he doesn't necessarily have it during a school time, we always try and like, what do we do? [UNKNOWN]: And I think because I, we've gotten older, it's just like, really, where do you guys want to be? [UNKNOWN]: anything, you know, I never got really a say in those kinds of things. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: And so I think, no, I'm trying to, you know, include my kids in those kinds of conversations and then have some things that are exciting for them. [UNKNOWN]: Like, yeah, you know, secret trips that it's like, they don't really know what we're doing. [UNKNOWN]: Well, and and that's what I want. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm more about quality than, yes, then quantity or, but like, [UNKNOWN]: for my son didn't grow up with the financial, who isn't growing up with the financial restraint I grew up with, which is like, I didn't live in severe poverty, but I lived under poverty mentality.

53:10 [UNKNOWN]: because you had parents that had trauma. [UNKNOWN]: Right, because my parents grew up. [UNKNOWN]: My father especially grew up food insecure. [UNKNOWN]: And you don't waste and you don't go. [UNKNOWN]: And you don't spend money on luxuries. [UNKNOWN]: You don't spend money on fun. [UNKNOWN]: Your life is too work and provide for your family. [UNKNOWN]: Make sure they can eat and not fit. [UNKNOWN]: And so that's how I grew up, even though I knew that the roof over our head was secure and I knew that the food in the fridge was secure, but that idea that at a moment, this could all disappear, or we're not allowed to enjoy any of it was kind of ingrained in me, my son doesn't grow up, I looked at him the other day and I'm like, he just laughing like that's just what you do is it like I don't remember.

53:50 [UNKNOWN]: I don't remember ever laughing, but I'm looking at him just loving life, but isn't that give you like a validation? [UNKNOWN]: Right, our breaking, whatever, you know, you're breaking that curse, generational curse that is like, you guys have no clue. [UNKNOWN]: Because I remember talking to my son, I was like, man, you have no clue. [UNKNOWN]: I would have got my ass beat. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and I had to stop and think like, oh my gosh, she has no clue of what it is to live in your household be terrified of being who you are or like your your quirks because you would have been like smacked around for them. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, we're like totally criticized for that. [UNKNOWN]: So the fact that you can just be that way, it's like it frustrates the crap out of me, but at the same time it's like [UNKNOWN]: Holy crap.

54:30 [UNKNOWN]: That's like a little witty, even though it doesn't feel like a win in the moment. [UNKNOWN]: No, it actually does feel like a win. [UNKNOWN]: It felt like a win. [UNKNOWN]: I was like in all, like part of me was like, wow, okay, I'm doing it. [UNKNOWN]: And then he said something to me the other day, he goes, I go, Ryan, who's your favorite person? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Like because myself and I'm like I'm all for you. [UNKNOWN]: I love this for you. [UNKNOWN]: I love that and I'm like, okay, besides yourself. [UNKNOWN]: Minus that though, wrong answer, but I love this for you because that is the right answer. [UNKNOWN]: It is the right answer and I'm like, I would never say that. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, whoa, I would never say no and it was like great for me, but to your point of like keeping up with the Joneses and yeah.

55:15 [UNKNOWN]: We don't have a poverty mentality. [UNKNOWN]: I have a little bit because, you know, he needs to know we have to save every hot boss. [UNKNOWN]: We have to save all of the, oh yeah. [UNKNOWN]: So he's lost from the Chinese thing. [UNKNOWN]: Like we need to, you can't throw that away. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it's necessary. [UNKNOWN]: All that. [UNKNOWN]: All containers like have you ever had lunch meat and like you go like that peppered farm. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Then they put it in for leftovers. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: The fact that that comes with the perfect type of like I love this. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: So we save all of that. [UNKNOWN]: We save all of our Chinese take out containers to be to go to containers for other things or nice over containers. [UNKNOWN]: We save it off. [UNKNOWN]: So he knows a little bit. [UNKNOWN]: It's right like how to be somewhat frugal when times are right and I think that's the whole point, but then when times are good.

56:02 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, not being afraid to really step outside of your own self and like dig into it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, my I was I was telling you before we started like we do little family vacations and I have learned. [UNKNOWN]: Four days is good for us. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: You can't go over four days because if you go over four days, somebody is going to like pitch about something. [UNKNOWN]: There's going to be a meltdown. [UNKNOWN]: Somebody's going to throw up on somebody. [UNKNOWN]: So when my family, my extended family, don't get this. [UNKNOWN]: They want to be gone for like seven days. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, no, four days. [UNKNOWN]: And that's like days. [UNKNOWN]: And then you got to travel. [UNKNOWN]: So maybe even three days in location and a travel day depending on what's going on. [UNKNOWN]: So. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: Yes.

56:42 [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: 100 1,000 1 billion problems. [UNKNOWN]: So we are the same way. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: We go and we don't travel on the weekend. [UNKNOWN]: So you get off a Friday like before vacation. [UNKNOWN]: We're home for the weekend. [UNKNOWN]: Interesting. [UNKNOWN]: Do you think that kind of Tuesday we leave like on a Monday or Tuesday and we do a mid week four day three day or four day. [UNKNOWN]: We come home on that Friday Yeah, we have the weekend to decompress. [UNKNOWN]: We don't do come home Sunday and go to work on my own. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, listen, I mean, I'm I work wherever my laptop is so yeah, I tried, but I tried to really set those boundaries. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, I work on everything I need like it. [UNKNOWN]: I always tell clients don't know no clients listen to this [UNKNOWN]: I always tell them a few days past when I'm actually going to be back in the office.

57:25 [UNKNOWN]: It's like you need a day to just do the press and get your brain back in the game. [UNKNOWN]: So I get that too. [UNKNOWN]: We've done like a little like weekends here and there and those seem to be like, okay, yeah, it was good. [UNKNOWN]: Like we're not taking like this whole summer. [UNKNOWN]: We don't really have anything planned this summer. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Our vacations kind of start like August. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And then my husband and I, we always have this free occurring vacation that we do. [UNKNOWN]: And it is every 18 months. [UNKNOWN]: Sounds really weird, but it's our concert cruise. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so we always rebook it because it's a band that we love that cruise with. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And that is our non negotiable. [UNKNOWN]: And I was like, there's going to be a day when they're getting older.

58:06 [UNKNOWN]: But he dies with it. [UNKNOWN]: Don't do this anymore. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, so what would be then our next thing and obviously they have a lot of other cruises with a lot of different bands. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, are we just, you know, but then we have to have something just he and yeah, and I think that's been like such a game changer for he and I as like now we're out of the baby phase. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and trust our kids to be a little self-sufficient babysitters and family. [UNKNOWN]: And that's the one thing that we hold on to with our kids. [UNKNOWN]: It's always a moving target. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and I don't do. [UNKNOWN]: I don't we don't do that. [UNKNOWN]: Well, me, my husband don't do that. [UNKNOWN]: Well, we very much prioritize Ryan or work. [UNKNOWN]: Or or just the house in the daily life that we don't do. [UNKNOWN]: That vacations. [UNKNOWN]: I think we've been on maybe two.

58:49 [UNKNOWN]: I think we've only really been on one by ourselves like we don't do it and we should like we don't do date nights really we don't to change anything they're because every week that's hard that's hard and you never get out of your to-do list I feel like by the time dinner's over you're like why basically just said my to-do list do you? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah [UNKNOWN]: So we, Mike and I, we have Disney passes. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and it's not that we are like the biggest I heard Disney fans. [UNKNOWN]: We are. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, we like Disney. [UNKNOWN]: And I got ears. [UNKNOWN]: I got backpacks. [UNKNOWN]: I got all the things. [UNKNOWN]: So we once a month have we go to Epcot and we walk around. [UNKNOWN]: And we just talk. [UNKNOWN]: So it's two hours to like decompress. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: Then we have the time in the park where we are just talking has been a wife again.

59:30 [UNKNOWN]: Like how we used to date. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: And and that and it doesn't have to be date nights in that strict sense. [UNKNOWN]: No, just having. [UNKNOWN]: But then we the day where you guys are together. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: And you're being people. [UNKNOWN]: And being silly. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I mean, I'm not talking about logistics because 90% of like all like marriage conversation as you get deep into a marriage are logistic and then you turn into a roommate. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, or a coworker. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Whatever the case, maybe. [UNKNOWN]: So we really like that's worked for us to not have like the weekly date night, but we have a month, like once a month, I mean, not a month, one day a month where we get to go and we get to sit and we get to talk and we get to laugh, we get to eat good food. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and it's as a structure that we both know, so it's not really, yeah, it's not like having a plan.

1:00:15 [UNKNOWN]: Well, because we've already know what's going on. [UNKNOWN]: And so I, I have that thing to where I go, and I've wanted to do this with Ryan all the time. [UNKNOWN]: And I finally did I took him to see well, and I, yeah, surprised him. [UNKNOWN]: We had a great time, but I'm very much realizing. [UNKNOWN]: that each of us, my husband and my son and myself all have different ideas of what fun is. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so that's hard. [UNKNOWN]: We, in my husband kind of realized this recently because we went to, we went to Texas for a work thing, but we ended up staying the weekend. [UNKNOWN]: And he's doing this thing of yes, instead of saying no, he's saying yes. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm like, he didn't know this because we didn't really talk about it, but I'm like, I've never been on a vacation [UNKNOWN]: I've never done a vacation where I did what I wanted to do.

1:01:03 [UNKNOWN]: I just do whatever everyone else wants to do because I don't want to hear it. [UNKNOWN]: Like I don't want to deal with the whining. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Because my idea of fun is no one else's idea of fun. [UNKNOWN]: So what's your idea of fun? [UNKNOWN]: So I'm telling me, I want to go to a TJ Met. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I want to wake up when I wake, I don't do not fucking wake me up if I'm in the morning to do some shit, okay? [UNKNOWN]: I want to wake up when I wake up. [UNKNOWN]: I want to have bomb ass breakfast, okay? [UNKNOWN]: Like, really good. [UNKNOWN]: I like being outdoorsy a bit. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I do like going on hikes. [UNKNOWN]: I would love to go out on a boat. [UNKNOWN]: I would love to do like. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, experiential outside things.

1:01:43 [UNKNOWN]: I would love to go to a festival. [UNKNOWN]: I would love to like I want to city a street vendor and just buy some like that's what I want to do. [UNKNOWN]: I want to put around a city like that's what I want to do. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I want to go around and just experience the city naturally rather than like I need to go here and I need to see this 90s photo here and I need it. [UNKNOWN]: And yeah, I want to put around like I just want to like, oh, that looks fun. [UNKNOWN]: Let's go in there. [UNKNOWN]: And I don't want to be told. [UNKNOWN]: No, but we have a recipe. [UNKNOWN]: Like, oh, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, they have this here. [UNKNOWN]: Let's see what that's about. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I want to play games. [UNKNOWN]: I want to stay up late talking.

1:02:24 [UNKNOWN]: I want to have great food. [UNKNOWN]: Like, and have the less structured. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, like I'm I like roller coasters. [UNKNOWN]: I like music. [UNKNOWN]: I like and also I'm the night owl. [UNKNOWN]: So I want to be up late. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Like I want to I want to go out. [UNKNOWN]: So like I'm out in the middle of the day. [UNKNOWN]: want to come back to the room, have some lunch or snack, maybe a neck. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Then go and go to like a show or go to a thing, go experience something dinner and then experience some night life. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: Maybe a little shop in then like four days. [UNKNOWN]: I'm experiencing the city and what it has to offer rather than being like just going to tourist attractions or like these places when you have to take [UNKNOWN]: And I'm like proof that you were there.

1:03:15 [UNKNOWN]: He had proof that I was there. [UNKNOWN]: And like I like some of that. [UNKNOWN]: Like I love to go to a great museum. [UNKNOWN]: I just want to do. [UNKNOWN]: I just want to do don't see what's in. [UNKNOWN]: See what's in the structure, but not structure. [UNKNOWN]: And I get that. [UNKNOWN]: I want one structure thing per day. [UNKNOWN]: Per day. [UNKNOWN]: And that's the rest of it is just whatever. [UNKNOWN]: I listen, my best as I have traveled. [UNKNOWN]: I was there. [UNKNOWN]: Godland. [UNKNOWN]: because I did like a tour with my mom, like I, you know, I went over to Germany for a while. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, whenever it's like great Britain was up in Scotland. [UNKNOWN]: It was with my mom and we were doing one of those like bus tours, so it was like a week. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And it was like we're gonna let you off. [UNKNOWN]: And like you can, you have like four hours to your show. [UNKNOWN]: And my mom wanted to follow everybody else to do all the tour see things.

1:03:57 [UNKNOWN]: That was like, okay cool, but I don't. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I just gone back from Germany where I'd seen so many castles. [UNKNOWN]: Like Missy Morecastles. [UNKNOWN]: I don't have Missy Morecastles, right? [UNKNOWN]: No, it was just like, you can go do that. [UNKNOWN]: I want to meander. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I'm a meanderer. [UNKNOWN]: I want to just go and see what, I want to see what's down this street. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I'll find my way back. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I'll be within the time frame. [UNKNOWN]: But I just want to see something else because I don't want to be where all the tourists are because that's not fun for me. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: And so she was like, all frustrated with me, but I was just like, oh, you don't have to go. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I'm just going to be under this way. [UNKNOWN]: Met, um, a highland cow was. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, too, right? [UNKNOWN]: I was like, oh my gosh, look at this guy. [UNKNOWN]: But then we were we went to this like little shop that had the best hot chocolate And it was like staff like like a mile high on with cream and all that kind of stuff.

1:04:42 [UNKNOWN]: And then we were leaving. [UNKNOWN]: And I say this guy dressed in this crazy outfit with bells and ribbons all over it And I'm like one fall definitely following that. [UNKNOWN]: Where is that guy? [UNKNOWN]: He's gone in the problem. [UNKNOWN]: I mean that guy. [UNKNOWN]: And I end up just following my mom's like, you don't always going like, I don't care. [UNKNOWN]: wherever he's going, I want to go. [UNKNOWN]: And I want to be wherever that guy is because he's obviously going to have it. [UNKNOWN]: Because then there's more than there's like four other guys with like ribbons and belts on there. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, well, we're definitely doing this. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm going to see this [UNKNOWN]: Summer solstice dance thing that the locals do and I got video of it where the roof that was off the like the bus, where they all followed, they missed it completely.

1:05:23 [UNKNOWN]: They came at the very end. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, we got to AC this like super duper cool, cool, cool, cool thing that I was like, oh my gosh. [UNKNOWN]: This is amazing. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And it's like those kinds of things I hear. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I wouldn't have some structure but not in a large structure. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I want to go to like we were in Ireland. [UNKNOWN]: I wanted to go to an Irish comedy. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Like comedy venue where they had comedians. [UNKNOWN]: And we were there on a fright. [UNKNOWN]: And like it's 80. [UNKNOWN]: 8pm we have shit I'll see. [UNKNOWN]: Let's just go. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Like I wanted to be. [UNKNOWN]: I wanted to have room. [UNKNOWN]: I think that the crux of it is having room for the spontaneity. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: And you still have some stuff that I don't know what's happening, yeah, oh, what's happening. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, I want to go do that. [UNKNOWN]: I want to go see something like that. [UNKNOWN]: I don't want to go eat something and like I want to just be able to get up and go and do and and then just and meander and meander just go through and see because I can those are some of the best times that you get to see like spontaneity, you're right.

1:06:13 [UNKNOWN]: And it is hard to do that with kids. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and and I love a day on vacation where you did walk you now. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, I do like the beach day, the beach day, the Cabana day, the pool day, whatever that day is, where you literally got up, went and laid down, fell asleep on the lounge chair, somehow food got brought to you, you ate it, you fell asleep again, you have a book, you want to be a passenger for instance, that day. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I, with my excited family, we, when I was married to a husband, it was really early on. [UNKNOWN]: They, um, they are the people that they will get you at the 7 o'clock in the morning. [UNKNOWN]: And we're like, we're going to be blinding. [UNKNOWN]: And then we're going rafting. [UNKNOWN]: And then we're going on the forest. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, in one day. [UNKNOWN]: But, [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, no three days three days.

1:06:55 [UNKNOWN]: I would do all of those things, but then like maybe that day and then take a break and then the next day take a break and then the next thing I just and I remember my husband was like that's not a vacation for me. [UNKNOWN]: That's a task list. [UNKNOWN]: I want to just go sit in the lazy river and I remember causing so many problems, but I look at my husband like good for you for saying something because that's how I I would have just gone with the flow and been miserable. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and then we're all spent and we're all burnt and we're all angry and angry and all those kinds of things and it's like to pace yourself in some things. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I think it's great. [UNKNOWN]: So Ryan will do my son will do some spontaneity. [UNKNOWN]: He loves to just wander around with me like that.

1:07:36 [UNKNOWN]: But he's not a thrill person. [UNKNOWN]: So he doesn't like the heights. [UNKNOWN]: He doesn't like the outdoor. [UNKNOWN]: He's stuff. [UNKNOWN]: He doesn't like adrenaline, yeah, octane stuff that I do enjoy. [UNKNOWN]: He's not a big like let's go to a show person. [UNKNOWN]: But he does love a good walk back. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, he does love that. [UNKNOWN]: This is like yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And my husband is [UNKNOWN]: More or not he also doesn't like the idea. [UNKNOWN]: So we're all okay in that way. [UNKNOWN]: Well, we're not getting up and packing day full of things, but he likes We've done one thing, but that's it. [UNKNOWN]: If I seven p.m. We're done. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, we're in the room. [UNKNOWN]: We're done. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and like, but he's a early riser. [UNKNOWN]: So seven a.m. [UNKNOWN]: He's like, let's go and like he wants to do his thing early [UNKNOWN]: He's like, I don't want to be in the room all day and there are days where I just want to be in the room all day.

1:08:22 [UNKNOWN]: It's been taking me time and looking and get out when I get out and so, like, we're on office at schedules. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Because he's like, okay, we went out. [UNKNOWN]: We did the horse spec writing. [UNKNOWN]: We've done the thing. [UNKNOWN]: Now there's no more thing. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and I'm like, hey, they're they're having hot cocoa and whatever in the lava here. [UNKNOWN]: They're having spores or whatever. [UNKNOWN]: Let's go do that. [UNKNOWN]: It's 9 p.m. [UNKNOWN]: They're doing some thing. [UNKNOWN]: But 9 p.m. [UNKNOWN]: It's like we're done. [UNKNOWN]: You're done. [UNKNOWN]: And so we're we each have this different perspective on what's fun. [UNKNOWN]: And I just don't want to hear the wine. [UNKNOWN]: So I'm like, I will just because the things they like to do, it's not that I dislike it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: it's just not the way I would do it.

1:09:04 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so we've talked about like, oh, what kind of vacation would you want to do? [UNKNOWN]: And I'm like, honestly, if I wanted to have a real vacation, that's for me. [UNKNOWN]: Not that I don't love my son and not that I don't love my husband. [UNKNOWN]: I would go by myself. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I would go by myself because then I don't have to be responsible. [UNKNOWN]: Every woman's with you on that. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I would just like, I want to go. [UNKNOWN]: I want to go to Yellowstone, if you'd like to have you without the chance of being murdered or raped. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Here's how it. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: And I have you heard these at the other two points I want to make. [UNKNOWN]: There's like a sleepboy camp in Scotland. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Where you can go and it is like you can be on nature.

1:09:46 [UNKNOWN]: You're going to go scream into the void. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Do the guttural healing, help the men youth. [UNKNOWN]: have a sexy Scottish man that's like yeah and like make sure that you're wearing something under the right right you know who cares at that point in time but you know like you have this like it's like the girl camp but it's that one yes and then there's the other part where I saw this with a friend that is like how do I get this going and we have to be very careful and we invite right but it's the like we're together but we're not together groups where it's like [UNKNOWN]: kind of like vacation where you go to an Airbnb, everybody has their own room, they have little location, you read, but you have somebody in the room, so you feel like, you know, that person that you're kind of connecting, but you're not talking, you're reading, or you're doing crafting, and we've talked about this, yeah.

1:10:34 [UNKNOWN]: But yeah, just a few other things like that that it's like, I want to do that. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, I want to do that. [UNKNOWN]: I want, and I've kind of said to my husband, especially, because you were talking about always having a vacation plan. [UNKNOWN]: I'm at the eight and stress level and energy level. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, my idea of vacation is everyone bugger's off and we can alone in my home. [UNKNOWN]: Give me honestly you go away for a week, you do it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I stay in my house and I sleep all day and can be said, object or I do a DIY or I do something. [UNKNOWN]: And nobody, or anything, but in my house, I'm in my bed.

1:11:20 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I have my clothes, I don't have to pack, I'm not tired. [UNKNOWN]: I don't have to get on a plane, I don't have to worry about what time it is. [UNKNOWN]: The idea of being in a loan in my house. [UNKNOWN]: for more than, no, no, no, no better than sex. [UNKNOWN]: Nobody needs sex if you're a robot in your house, just for more than an average set of anything from, I don't have to wear clothes, that's better than sex, but you do in my memory when I do, can I really know why I was touching my body at this point, like the sounds amazing. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I want to go in my kitchen.

1:12:01 [UNKNOWN]: I want to be feral. [UNKNOWN]: I want to use a snack in my pantry. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: No one knows. [UNKNOWN]: No one's getting a hold of me. [UNKNOWN]: I want to be a fucking trashy. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: In my house. [UNKNOWN]: I gotta say, like there's a guy that that does sounds think about it. [UNKNOWN]: Like all you get all the laundry done when you're when you freaking feel like it. [UNKNOWN]: Maybe that room that needs to get painted. [UNKNOWN]: Maybe get a little extra. [UNKNOWN]: It's one of your non-neglusibles, right? [UNKNOWN]: Like have a vacation with your spouse. [UNKNOWN]: have the family one and then have a y'all f off and I'm just a home vacation go make the memories and then I will have a return but then I get the fomal because now they mean memories without me and then I have to say as much as I always want to like reset the house it always [UNKNOWN]: Hills my soul to then see that in 20 minutes all of my efforts have been Yeah, for did with like laundry.

1:12:53 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah, I'm like never mind. [UNKNOWN]: But yeah, I thought let me take it back. [UNKNOWN]: Not a week. [UNKNOWN]: I need 48 hours. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, a weekend Yeah, much memory building. [UNKNOWN]: Can you do a weekend about go some I've already made memories with you So do a repeat that I don't necessarily need to do or go do something. [UNKNOWN]: I hate go camping. [UNKNOWN]: You know is be with nature and sleep on the ground with the bug [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, go fishing. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I don't need to be. [UNKNOWN]: I don't need to be at the fishing. [UNKNOWN]: I don't want to smell the fish. [UNKNOWN]: I don't want to go and enjoy that's do the man camping. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, I don't want to sleep on the ground. [UNKNOWN]: I don't go to Disney with. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, fun stuff with them. [UNKNOWN]: You're like, oh, they have good food over there. [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, you had the best dinner ever. [UNKNOWN]: And I was that no, I want you to go do something.

1:13:34 [UNKNOWN]: I don't want to. [UNKNOWN]: No, so I remember my I loved for my 40 if we went to New York. [UNKNOWN]: And that was like, oh, this is what I want to do for a for you. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And it was my kids and my husband and then my parents and my brother wanted to come to. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: It might be you. [UNKNOWN]: They had all been to New York and this was my first time. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so I was like, hey, what do you guys like give me some ideas? [UNKNOWN]: Like, you'll figure it out. [UNKNOWN]: I was like painstakingly going like, [UNKNOWN]: just through the plan for months. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, we get there and then everybody was complaining. [UNKNOWN]: I was like, I should just done this, but you would have enjoyed it. [UNKNOWN]: I would have enjoyed it. [UNKNOWN]: Even if you're just my kids, because my kids were like down for the like what I had done, but we had packed so much into it that I never got my little walk about to just go and see different quirky little shops.

1:14:17 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I was just like, I need like a week in here, but I can't do it all y'all. [UNKNOWN]: I almost like [UNKNOWN]: Why with them? [UNKNOWN]: Have the whole fun thing, then leave. [UNKNOWN]: And I just stay in the city for like a few days. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: And I haven't thought about like because you were talking about the summer camp, the girl summer camp. [UNKNOWN]: You go in Airbnb. [UNKNOWN]: And you all do different things. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And you have this base and you come back to the base. [UNKNOWN]: And now you're you're playing cards and you're relaxing. [UNKNOWN]: Have snacks being heard. [UNKNOWN]: You're seeing movies, whatever, having multiple things. [UNKNOWN]: You are a part good to go do how you want to do it. [UNKNOWN]: And come back and share those experiences in the conversations that happened. [UNKNOWN]: That's what I want.

1:14:57 [UNKNOWN]: And you're right, and you have to be very careful who you bring along. [UNKNOWN]: I'm too old to be holding hair with vomit over. [UNKNOWN]: Oh yeah, I'm not waking up at five o'clock in the morning. [UNKNOWN]: Not waking up at five o'clock in the morning. [UNKNOWN]: I'm also not bailing you out of jail like this like we need. [UNKNOWN]: I need a group of people that can take care of themselves and have a good time and not. [UNKNOWN]: be afraid or yeah, I'm being afraid to say what you want. [UNKNOWN]: I think that's where I get so frustrated in life at this age where it's like, I'm in my feral forties. [UNKNOWN]: I finally found my voice like, I want you to get there too. [UNKNOWN]: Me and like tell me what you need. [UNKNOWN]: Because I can't help if you don't tell me what you need, right? [UNKNOWN]: I can't help when you don't tell me there's a problem.

1:15:37 [UNKNOWN]: We just had this conversation in business. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Just don't be afraid to tell me how what you need to get the job done or how your brain works. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I think if we all kind of get over there like, well, I can't be a burden. [UNKNOWN]: Well, no, like, well, okay, so. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, I'm not to fail in the out of jail, but it's coming with you. [UNKNOWN]: But I need to get to there. [UNKNOWN]: I need to get to the place where I'm not. [UNKNOWN]: I feel like I'm wearing out of burden. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, because that's how I feel. [UNKNOWN]: And so I'm like, I'm just here to make everybody happy. [UNKNOWN]: And if everybody's happy, then I'm happy. [UNKNOWN]: See, you got to get out of that girl. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm doing more of it. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I'm going some my summer.

1:16:18 [UNKNOWN]: I'm going I took Ryan to see where we had a great time yeah we I I'm going on a Disney cruise I'm not a cruise person being trapped on this in a steel box on the ocean it's just not my I love cruiser yeah I love for different reasons [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Well, and I don't go to the ones where I'm not doing what I'm not doing. [UNKNOWN]: I'm doing kids stuff taking. [UNKNOWN]: I'm. [UNKNOWN]: You're still mom mode. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, mom. [UNKNOWN]: It's not a vacation. [UNKNOWN]: It's a work trip. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: It's a work trip. [UNKNOWN]: So I've never done a cruise by myself. [UNKNOWN]: I've never done a cruise with just my spouse and like actually been like. [UNKNOWN]: I enjoyed a cruise. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, or the excursions, you can only do certain things to do of your kids with you. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: So we're doing the crews, which we're going as a family, my whole family.

1:17:02 [UNKNOWN]: So my brother's their kids. [UNKNOWN]: Oh wow. [UNKNOWN]: It's going to be awesome. [UNKNOWN]: Like it's going to be a good family trip. [UNKNOWN]: But I am going to Ohio for their pride weekend, like if during pride month next month and they're going for the pride weekend and they, someone was selling me like they have a whole big pride parade there and I've never been like, I'm going to go that I want to go to that line and [UNKNOWN]: And then someone else invited me to, there's like a working convention there. [UNKNOWN]: I've never done that. [UNKNOWN]: I don't do that too. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I just want to do some shit. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I don't want, I've never done a lot of things. [UNKNOWN]: But I think that that's the kind of thing that you can do on your own. [UNKNOWN]: Can you say like that you have this string to do that?

1:17:45 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, people can't do things on there. [UNKNOWN]: So that's what I'm saying. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, I'm just going to go and I'm going. [UNKNOWN]: And like, I'm not totally on my own. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I'm meeting friends there. [UNKNOWN]: Like, yeah, whoever's at the parade. [UNKNOWN]: I'm going to meet them there, whoever's at the convention. [UNKNOWN]: I'm going to meet them there. [UNKNOWN]: But I'm not bringing, I don't need to bring a whole group with me to go do this. [UNKNOWN]: And I can do some things by myself. [UNKNOWN]: So I'm actually going, it's [UNKNOWN]: kind of a work trip like these are colleagues of mine. [UNKNOWN]: I know them mostly from work, but I'm going to get to enjoy doing just some weird dumb stuff that is not most people's jam like like that like just yeah and I get to just enjoy it because I don't have to worry about whether someone else is enjoying it.

1:18:26 [UNKNOWN]: And I think that's the thing is that we get so much into being the one that's coordinating and making sure everybody's having fun having the memories and they do think that that's something that a lot of maybe moms worry about is am I because you have to be the memory maker yeah you have to be the. [UNKNOWN]: Or what's it like the well, I'm the one taking the photos and Ryan we're just talking about like yeah, I need to I need photos You know, we don't have family photos. [UNKNOWN]: I'm the one taking all of them. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, there's tons of Ryan the memory maker and I'm the one taking the photo and Sure, the what is it like how my gosh what my brain is like the train left without you [UNKNOWN]: It totally did. [UNKNOWN]: I was going to say, like, um, what's the thing?

1:19:07 [UNKNOWN]: The tradition, yeah, to make it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I think that's hard. [UNKNOWN]: And that's like, there's a lot of pressure of that. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: So like, my kids, we realized, like, we were doing, you know, like, we've done a cruise with them. [UNKNOWN]: We've done these, like, you know, we took them to New York. [UNKNOWN]: We've done some of these things. [UNKNOWN]: And we're blessed to kind of be in that area where we're trying to awaken toys. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: We're trying to get away from that and make more memories. [UNKNOWN]: Santa can travel with you. [UNKNOWN]: Did you know that? [UNKNOWN]: Like you can't drop a few things and yeah, and so we're trying to get into that where like For Christmas we're planning to go to Canada because they want to be snow. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I have always every time we try and go somewhere in December January or snow I could you not we show up and it's like oh, it's the sunnyest dryest day.

1:19:51 [UNKNOWN]: There's no snow. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like What and it's like this has been three years in a it's like a running joke and I'm just so sunshine. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I guess [UNKNOWN]: this thing I bring the sunshine out so that we're trying to figure out like Canada and it's yeah, you know, we're trying to keep going more north. [UNKNOWN]: You got honestly this way, Tim and Erica, we're just going straight up. [UNKNOWN]: We're just going to go straight to east east now. [UNKNOWN]: I'm not even messing around this here. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I'm going to find the snow dammit. [UNKNOWN]: And um, you know, mountains, right? [UNKNOWN]: We're trying to figure out, but I've also found that like November, December, it doesn't. [UNKNOWN]: It looks, it's January, February. [UNKNOWN]: January, February. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: When the snow pack comes, that's I'm just like, we're just going, we're just going to keep going. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: But those are the some of the things that we have planned, but funny enough, I mean, it's kind of weird, I mean, listen, [UNKNOWN]: not weird when you look at our family, but Disney would start doing these like concert days, right?

1:20:43 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and then realize that some of the bands that my husband and I listen to, they're there, and my kids have gotten into that. [UNKNOWN]: So then what we've realized is we're kind of in our punk rock era phase, right? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, like we're in, we might as well when I've been in it for way longer, but we just started realizing that certain bands were like, [UNKNOWN]: popping up that we love that my kids loved. [UNKNOWN]: And so one of our trips is that we're going to North Carolina to see this band. [UNKNOWN]: There's two bands my kids live. [UNKNOWN]: And we, like, you know, I was looking to see what else we could do to make it special. [UNKNOWN]: We found it for not a lot of money. [UNKNOWN]: You can go meet the band. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, wow. [UNKNOWN]: You can get by your ticket.

1:21:24 [UNKNOWN]: This is what happens when you give people adult money. [UNKNOWN]: We're not smart with it. [UNKNOWN]: So it happens with millennials finally get a don't many and we're like, well, who's going to stuck me know well, and this is why I have so many Animal ones. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: No one's stopping. [UNKNOWN]: What is it that like it was like real. [UNKNOWN]: It's like no one's coming. [UNKNOWN]: No one's coming to save you, which means no one's going to come and stop you By the way, did you realize that you can have ice cream for breakfast right like as an adult you could do it. [UNKNOWN]: You can spend your money and do the thing. [UNKNOWN]: There's going to be constant realize that by the time you get to it. [UNKNOWN]: And adult and you're thinking about breakfast the last thing you want is ice cream. [UNKNOWN]: So I feel like I tell my son I wish I had the stomach I had but I was the time now is the time Yeah, if you want ice cream for breakfast now.

1:22:13 [UNKNOWN]: It's the time because by the time you're my age You're gonna be like, I need I don't feel like you'll be Yeah, I need it. [UNKNOWN]: I need it. [UNKNOWN]: I need an open face and an open face and which is not the same Which I don't want to talk about [UNKNOWN]: I need some, it's a toast, yeah, some hustling, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, [UNKNOWN]: I mean, I know I'm not in the family at all the time, but it was just they were respectful, they were kind, they were close knit, yeah, and I just remember like, how do I get to this point, yeah, because when you're like mom with young kids, it's like there's no way I can get to this point, how did you get that this seems like a huge case, right?

1:23:08 [UNKNOWN]: And I remember she just said, whatever they started showing interest in, I leaned in. [UNKNOWN]: I didn't want to be the baseball mom, but I leaned in, right? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so I was kind of grateful when my kids leaned into music. [UNKNOWN]: But I was like, oh, I got it. [UNKNOWN]: I got a whole world for you. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And you know, we get some crap. [UNKNOWN]: Sometimes we're doing our kids to concerts and all that kind of stuff. [UNKNOWN]: But anybody who's there, like the elder emo's, they're just like, ah, I wish my parents. [UNKNOWN]: Would have just leaned in and let me be me and let me be me and I said that to my son because we went to see world and we were he was like I'm the thru sleeker. [UNKNOWN]: I want to do the roller coaster. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, right. [UNKNOWN]: He doesn't like it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and so when I booked it I booked the whale experience the touch the dolphin experience.

1:23:50 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, meet the animals to go on the tour. [UNKNOWN]: I book that because I know that's what he likes. [UNKNOWN]: And then he's like, well, I want to try it. [UNKNOWN]: I want to try it. [UNKNOWN]: So we did and he didn't have a good time. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm like, right, he might get there. [UNKNOWN]: And he might as he gets older, he might. [UNKNOWN]: But I'm like, right, we don't be the right. [UNKNOWN]: I'm here for you. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, if you want to go to see penguins and if you just want to go see animals, let's do that. [UNKNOWN]: Let's do that. [UNKNOWN]: And so we got a caricature. [UNKNOWN]: We ate ice cream. [UNKNOWN]: We had great food. [UNKNOWN]: We saw the animals. [UNKNOWN]: We saw sharks. [UNKNOWN]: We saw all this stuff. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm like, [UNKNOWN]: I'm per this day was for you. [UNKNOWN]: I'm perfectly happy that you're happy with this level of activity.

1:24:30 [UNKNOWN]: We don't have to do what I want to do and I think the same thing like I think parents [UNKNOWN]: you go two ways, either you do everything for your kid and nothing for yourself and that's me. [UNKNOWN]: Or you do everything for yourself and nothing for your kid and that's some parents where they go. [UNKNOWN]: Because my parents, I'm on vacation. [UNKNOWN]: You're lucky you got to tag along. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I don't care if you don't like it because you're lucky me even took you. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And you've had to find the balance. [UNKNOWN]: I think there's the days where you show up for your kids and it's about them. [UNKNOWN]: And it moms here, you're in it like you said that you had a great day. [UNKNOWN]: And those, um, if we're talking psychology, those are almost like the fence posts for kid. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: When you have those memories, it'd be making it. [UNKNOWN]: It just have to be every week.

1:25:11 [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: But when they have those fence fence posts, then the day to day are the slacks, right? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: That through the fence posts. [UNKNOWN]: That [UNKNOWN]: that's kind of like what they'll remember but they'll always remember like I remember that one time when to see worlds and I got slapped by a penguin or something like that right and I think the things we can get so lost into that in motherhood and into our with our relationship because we're always trying to like hey whatever you guys want to do and I think the important thing is you gotta have all sides of that triangle you have to you know focus with your family focus with your spouse because when your kid grows up that's [UNKNOWN]: what how important it is to find out what she thought want.

1:25:51 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and have a day where you get to go and do a, like, go to a pride parade. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and go to a board game convention and do all those things. [UNKNOWN]: Because you know what, why not? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I think we're so used to kind of like either keep able with the Joneses or some kind of like what we think that it needs to look like. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, when it really comes down to vocalizing what we really want. [UNKNOWN]: Then it's like, yeah, no, I want to go on a concert cruise and I want to scream like my heart out for a few days with a band that probably no one's ever heard of. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, that's what I want. [UNKNOWN]: That feels good for me. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And then you leave those experiences feeling. [UNKNOWN]: I think more uplisted and fulfilled. [UNKNOWN]: Then if you were just not just going with the flow with everything.

1:26:33 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: So I think we all need to hear that. [UNKNOWN]: I think we all need to hear that. [UNKNOWN]: You're a person too. [UNKNOWN]: And I always have to tell my kids, like, [UNKNOWN]: Sometimes I think you forget. [UNKNOWN]: I'm a girl going through life for the first time, too. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: I'm a girl that's experiencing 42 for the first time. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And it's not that I haven't figured out. [UNKNOWN]: I know how to, I know how my brain works a little bit better. [UNKNOWN]: I know how to adapt to a situation better. [UNKNOWN]: I'm still going through this the first time in my life, too. [UNKNOWN]: And so I get to rearrange the rules. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: You know, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I think that's a really important thing. [UNKNOWN]: And I, especially with us coming into summer. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: And it feels like it's a lot. [UNKNOWN]: We have to make all these memories. [UNKNOWN]: We have to give them an epic summer and make some dreams and everybody.

1:27:15 [UNKNOWN]: So you're coming in in the deficit. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, you're coming in on views. [UNKNOWN]: I, yes, I'm on fume every now and now more is expected of me and it's supposed to be fun. [UNKNOWN]: Like, and it's supposed to be magical all the time. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, this is like Christmas. [UNKNOWN]: It's 10 weeks of Christmas is what it feels like. [UNKNOWN]: It's like every day has to be magical. [UNKNOWN]: It has to be the best summer ever and every year it has to be the best summer ever. [UNKNOWN]: And I, I'm not off for 10 week. [UNKNOWN]: I'm working. [UNKNOWN]: And things are slow. [UNKNOWN]: like typically for my line of work during the summer. [UNKNOWN]: So I literally a great catch-up period for me to get still working. [UNKNOWN]: But I'm working.

1:27:55 [UNKNOWN]: And so my son is in camp. [UNKNOWN]: I'm working. [UNKNOWN]: And then of course like like the can't ignore the fact that the economy is weird and things are expensive and just like putting gas in the car and just that like picnic at the park type experience is like $300 because if you haven't been to grocery store lately it's like [UNKNOWN]: $300. [UNKNOWN]: You get a block of cheese for 10. [UNKNOWN]: It's hard. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so to do that on a budget to do that with the budget of energy. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, budget of time, budget of money, like finding ways to [UNKNOWN]: to make it magical, enjoyable, magical. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, we're everybody without your kids yourself.

1:28:39 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it's a lot of pressure because it's the thing. [UNKNOWN]: Sometimes I think I always look at summer. [UNKNOWN]: It's like, oh, this is going to be a good catch up. [UNKNOWN]: This is going to be a good respite. [UNKNOWN]: But then you get through summer and you're just just trained, if not even more, and then you're going into the school year. [UNKNOWN]: And it's like, where do you fill your cup? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, right. [UNKNOWN]: Where do you fill like your tank of getting back? [UNKNOWN]: to being ready to go and excited and energize, you know, and I'm the mom, I do this to myself every summer and I'm currently doing it, so I'm kicking myself, but I'm trying to [UNKNOWN]: to a better is I have the summer bucket list for my kids. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And then I look at that bucket list at the end of the summer. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, you stupid idiot.

1:29:20 [UNKNOWN]: Why would you say, like, mors? [UNKNOWN]: I need to empty. [UNKNOWN]: I love love, right? [UNKNOWN]: I exactly have an ID 10T problem. [UNKNOWN]: And it's right here. [UNKNOWN]: And I know which one it is. [UNKNOWN]: So exactly. [UNKNOWN]: And so I think again, you know, I always look at some, I'll tell me this. [UNKNOWN]: You're never going to get a medal for like the perfect summer. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: You're never going to get the medal for the most like balance I worked. [UNKNOWN]: I got everything up to date up for my work and then my kids and everybody's happy. [UNKNOWN]: No one's always going to be, if life is messy. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: And no one's handing out ribbons. [UNKNOWN]: I think it's just what are your own. [UNKNOWN]: Myel markers. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, of success. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And what are your own myel markers for yourself?

1:30:00 [UNKNOWN]: And honestly, when is it the time when you're listening, you need to listen to your own body of red flag like I need to take a break. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And how to get that schedule. [UNKNOWN]: You know, I was just talking to another mom, we have just got to the beach yesterday. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And we have been planning this beach trip. [UNKNOWN]: that we have been moving around for a month. [UNKNOWN]: It was one Saturday and then it was like, oh crap, we got to swim meet. [UNKNOWN]: Then another Saturday, oh crap, I've got a family thing. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, and finally we got to it. [UNKNOWN]: And we almost didn't do it. [UNKNOWN]: If you looked at our text messages in the morning, it was like, shit, I forgot that we were supposed to do the beach day. [UNKNOWN]: So could we do it in the afternoon? [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, yeah, oh no, my son has like, an event thing, like a... [UNKNOWN]: Duns and dragons meeting or something and we finally ended up on doing dinner at the beat.

1:30:43 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: It was not our favorite time, but we did it and it actually turned out great, but we all sat there. [UNKNOWN]: The like two parents sets a parents and we were just like, well, when you're planning as parents. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, so hard. [UNKNOWN]: So hard. [UNKNOWN]: A non-kid thing. [UNKNOWN]: Like I, and I noticed this with women way more than men, because a man will not miss his time period. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: A man will, man will be like, oh, my wife's giving birth right now, but he had an A to clap. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, like he's not missing it. [UNKNOWN]: women prioritize the needs it. [UNKNOWN]: So I have family coming in. [UNKNOWN]: I have my work. [UNKNOWN]: I have stuff from my kids. [UNKNOWN]: I have 85 birthday parties. [UNKNOWN]: I have all this stuff and I'm like, can we just go to brunch?

1:31:24 [UNKNOWN]: I will see you in one to two business years. [UNKNOWN]: And when we book it, this just happened to us because we were like, oh, hey, we're we book tunes. [UNKNOWN]: This was six months ago. [UNKNOWN]: we booked this months ago. [UNKNOWN]: This is the only, yeah, again, day where all of us were in town, all of us didn't have family, all of us didn't have something to go on. [UNKNOWN]: Or we had family, but it was like urgent, they were going to participate. [UNKNOWN]: But we're like, June 6th. [UNKNOWN]: And then my husband comes, he's like, I want to have a summer party. [UNKNOWN]: I want to, by the way, I'm supposed to invite you. [UNKNOWN]: He did tell me. [UNKNOWN]: Like who is we're having a summer party at our house in like two Yeah, oh, I think it's like inviting you. [UNKNOWN]: I was just like why not help me.

1:32:05 [UNKNOWN]: I'm not inviting everybody on this call. [UNKNOWN]: Stop it like Like I'm not inviting every van the chef. [UNKNOWN]: We're not telling you where it is just now that we had a fun So funny because they like he went to the boys and he's like the boys are like, yeah, we got another go on. [UNKNOWN]: We got another go on [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And then you're like, no, and then the girls now are on the whole root chat. [UNKNOWN]: Now we're the couple's root chat. [UNKNOWN]: So it's like, all of us. [UNKNOWN]: And we go. [UNKNOWN]: And one of the wives is like, your sister's coming in to town. [UNKNOWN]: What do you mean nothing to you? [UNKNOWN]: And like, we have this going on. [UNKNOWN]: And we have this going on. [UNKNOWN]: And so they're like, like, we have stuff going on. [UNKNOWN]: And they're like, we can move this, we can move that bit. [UNKNOWN]: We find, okay, picking this date, this is the day.

1:32:47 [UNKNOWN]: And then the girls got on their hat chat. [UNKNOWN]: And like, hey, did you guys not realize that this is the day we picked for Brent? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: That we booked months ago. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And we're all like, well, if the guys want to have the party, we'll just do the book, because they try to facilitate. [UNKNOWN]: And so we go. [UNKNOWN]: Wait, and one of them was like, finally said, what should I say? [UNKNOWN]: I would like to go to brunch. [UNKNOWN]: We made this plan a month ago. [UNKNOWN]: This was so hard to find a day. [UNKNOWN]: And so I went to my husband and like, what time were you thinking for this party and go to like three and get, I'm like great. [UNKNOWN]: We are gonna go get fucked up at brunch. [UNKNOWN]: And then we're going to come to the far, much fun and pepperating. [UNKNOWN]: We're going to be at the party.

1:33:27 [UNKNOWN]: I'm just showing up. [UNKNOWN]: I'm not planning it. [UNKNOWN]: I'm going to find the groceries for it. [UNKNOWN]: I'm not decorating it. [UNKNOWN]: We are the ladies are going to go to brunch. [UNKNOWN]: And we are going to come to the party as me. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And that's what's going to happen. [UNKNOWN]: And that's what's going to happen. [UNKNOWN]: But like for girls, but you've got to say it, right? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah to plan that day. [UNKNOWN]: It's so so hard and I think and guys don't get that they're like I can't start going if I want to go get balls with the guys. [UNKNOWN]: I just text them and they're like, yeah, we'll go because they can because they can [UNKNOWN]: And with women, it's like, again, it's, especially my friends, it's just, it's such a delicate web of what you're like, playing out and and figuring out, especially on a, on the tail end of May. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: Even I always tell people like, [UNKNOWN]: I, my busy season, crazy time starts and I mean, it's always crazy.

1:34:13 [UNKNOWN]: So yeah, it's just a different kind of crazy. [UNKNOWN]: Like, you're September to December probably, right? [UNKNOWN]: September till like January. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, we told January. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so when I always have people, it's like, I want to do something like don't and my birthdays in December. [UNKNOWN]: really hard to separate your birthday when Jesus is birthdays and they're, you know, like Jesus birthday over takes everything. [UNKNOWN]: Fine. [UNKNOWN]: Jesus was born August. [UNKNOWN]: I know. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know why we celebrate in December. [UNKNOWN]: Really bumps me out and December. [UNKNOWN]: It is the quintessential real. [UNKNOWN]: It's real. [UNKNOWN]: I don't want to break your birthday, man. [UNKNOWN]: With Jesus. [UNKNOWN]: That's such an end. [UNKNOWN]: Right? [UNKNOWN]: I know. [UNKNOWN]: Why? [UNKNOWN]: get your own mod. [UNKNOWN]: Um, so it's really hard. [UNKNOWN]: And so then everybody's always just like, Ellen is telling me, Amber, are they with you? [UNKNOWN]: Like, please don't. [UNKNOWN]: First of all, I'm not 12.

1:34:54 [UNKNOWN]: I'll go celebrate my birthday however. [UNKNOWN]: I want to celebrate. [UNKNOWN]: I'm pretty vocal in that. [UNKNOWN]: And usually I don't want to celebrate with everybody because I get weird about birthdays. [UNKNOWN]: So I go my birthdays in October. [UNKNOWN]: I turned 40 last year. [UNKNOWN]: I didn't want to celebrate it because if some should he always happens on my birthday. [UNKNOWN]: No fun. [UNKNOWN]: And I go, if I don't celebrate, [UNKNOWN]: And the very next day, of course, shit goes down with my parents and I've got to like drop everything in. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, so it's coming for you no matter what. [UNKNOWN]: So I'm like, I didn't celebrate my for you. [UNKNOWN]: We got together. [UNKNOWN]: There was some cake that we didn't do anything. [UNKNOWN]: There was a, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: So I'm going to ask me, um, they're like, what would you want to do it? [UNKNOWN]: And I'm like, I found out that there was a teapain concert on my birthday in like Tallahassee or some shit.

1:35:36 [UNKNOWN]: You just wanted to go there. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, I just wanted to pick up and go. [UNKNOWN]: I just wanted to get up, get the car with a couple of like-minded people who work in a bitch about the music or that it's louder, that it's a year or whatever. [UNKNOWN]: Getting the car, go to this, be ghetto for two and a half hours and come home. [UNKNOWN]: That would have been a great birthday for me. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I've thought about doing a party, but then the idea of planning it, planning it, and is everybody having a good time. [UNKNOWN]: Do they want to do this? [UNKNOWN]: Is this fun for them? [UNKNOWN]: Do they not? [UNKNOWN]: Like, is this a major bummer that they have to use their Saturday now to go and do my birthday party? [UNKNOWN]: Cause yeah, think about how many times have you talked to your friends? [UNKNOWN]: Like, oh, I don't know, please, please move.

1:36:17 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I don't want to be that person no, I don't want to be that person either and I would love to do a Barbie theme for I want to do a 90's theme birthday party yeah I want to I want to have like sweatpants of a flannel t-shirt wrapped around my waist I want to do that [UNKNOWN]: Lena Morse, right? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, see, and I, the person, like, if I pick some restaurant and somebody is like complaining, I take that personally, and that's why I'm traveling. [UNKNOWN]: That's my own trauma. [UNKNOWN]: I get that. [UNKNOWN]: Everybody needs to be okay with their own thing. [UNKNOWN]: Um, and I think, like, I am a person like when I was turning 40, my best friend her day, her birthday is a day after me. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, because I think that was just meant to be because I can't remember birthday.

1:36:57 [UNKNOWN]: Right, my life. [UNKNOWN]: So it's like, thank you made that really easy for me. [UNKNOWN]: And so she's the person who always wants to celebrate on her birthday. [UNKNOWN]: But with the way that I was raised, my parents were was traveling. [UNKNOWN]: So we always push the birthday celebration to whenever was having to be. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, they show up, right? [UNKNOWN]: And I couldn't get into the whole conversation about how I grew up in that regard. [UNKNOWN]: But so for my kids birthday, I'll make a big deal on [UNKNOWN]: Is this number 11? [UNKNOWN]: Jesus Santa have taken over the Elf on the shelf is taken over, whatever you do. [UNKNOWN]: Like, and everybody's crazy. [UNKNOWN]: It's at the end of the year. [UNKNOWN]: All moms are like psychotic. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Ain't nobody going anywhere for that? [UNKNOWN]: So I always just like, let's just celebrate it in like January, February, March, time.

1:37:41 [UNKNOWN]: I feel like if I get within the three month period after it's good. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And my best friend hates it. [UNKNOWN]: She's like, [UNKNOWN]: Which is just celebrate on your birthday. [UNKNOWN]: I was like, I know, but I can't get away for like a cruise in the middle of December when there's like, can't Theme days up the Ying Ying there is like any kind of fundraiser going on then there's like a and there's final like that week Finals there's something like craziness going on at the schools. [UNKNOWN]: There's some like craziness going on clients. [UNKNOWN]: So a hundred percent I am like can we just celebrate my birthday march [UNKNOWN]: I'll start celebrating Jesus the real birthday on for my birthday. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, right? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I don't think it's like the switch birthday months, so yeah, that's fine.

1:38:22 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, if it isn't saying like, I think that we get so caught up in the things we need to do that it's like, I should be celebrating my birthday on my actual birthday, but it's just not how it works out with parents. [UNKNOWN]: It's not how it works out with schooling. [UNKNOWN]: And I like the idea of if I was going to do that. [UNKNOWN]: I like the idea. [UNKNOWN]: Let's get pizza and cake come over. [UNKNOWN]: Maybe please give me all the presents you want. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, and I would love so I told somebody this. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, I would love to celebrate my birthday. [UNKNOWN]: We're all the people I love. [UNKNOWN]: Left a whole bunch of gifts outside my house and left. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And went home. [UNKNOWN]: I hate being the person that opens gifts whenever it is watching. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and then I bring them like like a fucking [UNKNOWN]: Pull them into my house and open them up.

1:39:05 [UNKNOWN]: I don't say thank you. [UNKNOWN]: You know who you are. [UNKNOWN]: And then yeah, and yeah, I'm just enjoy all my treasures. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, like a hobgob win this year. [UNKNOWN]: And and then like yes, we can get together for some people in cake and then I didn't have to But don't you dare take me don't you dare make people sing to me at a restaurant. [UNKNOWN]: No, I want to the restaurant because I don't want to clean anything now Don't you dare tell them it's my birthday because I do not want it. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: I will make everybody sing to you, but I don't want to be [UNKNOWN]: Like sung to on my birthday. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it's either that where I'm just a fucking bridge troll. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, or I won't get why Four sequestries front loaded a nap [UNKNOWN]: And 9 p.m. we are going out and making this trip.

1:39:54 [UNKNOWN]: You have to have the right people, the right timing, all those kinds of things. [UNKNOWN]: Because anytime anybody wants to go to December, are we doing a Christmas thing? [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: I cannot tell you how many times I'm telling this as a PSA for anybody who has friends that have birthdays or December. [UNKNOWN]: Do not combine their gift from our thank Christmas. [UNKNOWN]: I had a friend in high school that was like gave me fuzzy socks and lotion. [UNKNOWN]: She's like, this is your birthday and your Christmas. [UNKNOWN]: It was like, okay, cool, thanks, thank you. [UNKNOWN]: So for her birthday and May, I gave her like fuzzy socks and like purfimers. [UNKNOWN]: Maybe this is your birthday and your Christmas. [UNKNOWN]: She's like, well, that's not fair. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, bitch. [UNKNOWN]: Hey, fair. [UNKNOWN]: Don't do that to your December friends. [UNKNOWN]: I'm saying. [UNKNOWN]: And then the summer friends, like, [UNKNOWN]: who have birthdays in the summer.

1:40:35 [UNKNOWN]: So Ryan has his Labor Day weekend, almost always Labor Day weekend. [UNKNOWN]: Nobody's ever around. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so nobody wants to go to kids birthday party and Labor Day weekend. [UNKNOWN]: And so we do one on one off. [UNKNOWN]: So one birthday is like chill at the house a couple of friends. [UNKNOWN]: We're hanging out. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Height, you know, homemade bake cake and whatever. [UNKNOWN]: And the next one will do a thing. [UNKNOWN]: We're doing, we're doing invites for making a party. [UNKNOWN]: We're doing [UNKNOWN]: So we go one on one off. [UNKNOWN]: But in the summer, I know all those kids that are born June July, August and nobody's at their parties. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, nobody's around. [UNKNOWN]: And that sucks. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And so yeah, let's celebrate all of that shit in me.

1:41:17 [UNKNOWN]: Let's celebrate all that shit when we're back in August. [UNKNOWN]: Let's let's do big parties for our summer birthday kid. [UNKNOWN]: Again, I also don't want to go. [UNKNOWN]: I want to pee in my house. [UNKNOWN]: I love your kid. [UNKNOWN]: I'm not busy. [UNKNOWN]: I'm just saying nothing. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: No, and we've always asked my kids like, we've always given me a trace. [UNKNOWN]: You can have some. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I'll send my son to my husband. [UNKNOWN]: His then you know, I just didn't want to socialize with anybody. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I don't love you. [UNKNOWN]: I still want to socialize. [UNKNOWN]: Um, we always gave the option of [UNKNOWN]: Do you want to do a like a friend party at the house or do you want to go to like a theme park or do like you can have the same budget you just tell me yeah you want to do a big fun. [UNKNOWN]: friend party at the house, or do we want to go do a theme park?

1:41:58 [UNKNOWN]: And maybe you can bring a friend, yeah, to send you others. [UNKNOWN]: So my older has opted into like theme parks for the last five years. [UNKNOWN]: And I've loved it because then I get to have fun. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it's going to be a little bit of a stir, so I get to that. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and I told my son the next time we go to the theme park. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, chill, chill, chill all day. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: It closes at 630 or whatever time it closes an hour and a half before it closes when everybody's left because it's 4pm by then all the people are the praise already happened everybody's leaving [UNKNOWN]: you and daddy will go get ice cream and I will do a speed run through this chart and I have fast pass I'll go right on the ride I'll do all the roller coasters and come back and I'll meet you and we can go home yeah like that's what I think what works for you yeah I think but I can't just leave him like I'm not going to go and get like DCF of all because I lost him with Mickey because I didn't want him to help my son like him and I think that's the thing like [UNKNOWN]: Find it goes back to I think all that finding what works best for you right in your brain and what you need and I think so much that we talk about like I'm sure we'll talk about in the future like burnout or those kinds of things it I get to the point where I get so burnt out that I don't even know what would help me feel better sometimes, right?

1:43:09 [UNKNOWN]: And I think that's what happens with vacation [UNKNOWN]: Well, and I didn't even have to know what would feel great at this time. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And if I were going to end this episode because we really did try to do an hour given up. [UNKNOWN]: I started the video so strong with wanting to do hour long shows because like I do care about my half a listener. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, who doesn't want to listen to me. [UNKNOWN]: Talk for a minute and on for two hours. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I really did. [UNKNOWN]: I try. [UNKNOWN]: I give up. [UNKNOWN]: I declare efficiency bankruptcy. [UNKNOWN]: It's fine, but it's not happening. [UNKNOWN]: Um, but if I was going to sum this up, uh, if you're a latch key kid and you're spending your summer watching TV and whatever the show of the day is, Mr. [UNKNOWN]: Beast is raising you this summer.

1:43:49 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Good. [UNKNOWN]: If you're the, I'm going to go and we get to summer and we spend 10 weeks abroad. [UNKNOWN]: Good. [UNKNOWN]: If you're going on one bean park and you got to work and you're figuring it out, good, like whatever. [UNKNOWN]: So long as everybody is somehow making it to the end of this 10th week, good, you did it. [UNKNOWN]: Like I think we put so much pressure to build the magic and build the memories of summers when you have to do it because that's when they're off of school. [UNKNOWN]: I will I will say that one of the things that I think millennials got right with school not to be to promote true and see, but I grew up when I in school you did not miss a day. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and there shouldn't be a trophy for that.

1:44:32 [UNKNOWN]: Like it's enough. [UNKNOWN]: If you've got a random day off, if you want to take a PTO day on a Wednesday and take your kids out and go do something, are you going to make some random long weekend. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, work it out with your teacher. [UNKNOWN]: They'll figure out how to keep them academically on track and you can do it. [UNKNOWN]: It doesn't all have to be packed and go to the summer. [UNKNOWN]: I think it takes that pressure off. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it doesn't all have to be done then taking all your PTO in the summer. [UNKNOWN]: It's really hard. [UNKNOWN]: I know a lot of people that try to and they're get denied because everybody else is on pick it. [UNKNOWN]: But you can't. [UNKNOWN]: And so I think we have this judgment as parents, and we're trying to be the best parents, and we're trying to be perfect parents, and there's a bar of our academically astute kids who are also well-rounded, who also had magical vacations, who also had super-present parents who also had the best diet on the planet, who are perfectly physically fit, and didn't have screen time in our artistic and all of these things, and they all just [UNKNOWN]: have these great stories to tell as they got older, that they're going to tell these wonderful stories of the things that their parents were able to create for them.

1:45:41 [UNKNOWN]: So fake. [UNKNOWN]: Let me just say it's fake but it's not real. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know. [UNKNOWN]: It's not real. [UNKNOWN]: We keep thinking this is a real thing. [UNKNOWN]: This is TV. [UNKNOWN]: This is Instagram. [UNKNOWN]: It's YouTube. [UNKNOWN]: It's not real. [UNKNOWN]: And we think that if we can create the perfect dynamic that we'll save our kids for maybe the trauma that we went through, but the trampoline is funny. [UNKNOWN]: The trauma made us resilient. [UNKNOWN]: Well, and not everything working out perfectly for us made us realize something. [UNKNOWN]: It's okay. [UNKNOWN]: It doesn't have to be perfect. [UNKNOWN]: by making things perfect for our children, and this could be another episode obviously. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, but that's what's hurting them because they need to see that there are times where you are going to be bored. [UNKNOWN]: What are you going to do on your board? [UNKNOWN]: Well, I heard out. [UNKNOWN]: I've done this thing so my son is now bored.

1:46:22 [UNKNOWN]: he's bored a lot. [UNKNOWN]: He's an only child. [UNKNOWN]: I get it. [UNKNOWN]: And I say, okay, if you're bored, that means you have time. [UNKNOWN]: And if you have time to lean, you have time to clean. [UNKNOWN]: Let's go on load the dishwasher, right? [UNKNOWN]: Like if you're bored, that must mean you can help me put the laundry away. [UNKNOWN]: If you're bored, that means you can help me mop. [UNKNOWN]: And I don't want it to bored him to be a punishment. [UNKNOWN]: But you have choices. [UNKNOWN]: If you're bored, go entertain yourself. [UNKNOWN]: because we had that as large kids as if we were bored and we were done watching Bob Barker. [UNKNOWN]: Now it's time we've had your out. [UNKNOWN]: There's four boxes will make a good slide down the staircase. [UNKNOWN]: Exactly. [UNKNOWN]: It doesn't. [UNKNOWN]: But you need that, excuse me. [UNKNOWN]: But you know, I mean, yes, you do. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, I think you need to find something that like gets you out of somebody always telling you what to do.

1:47:03 [UNKNOWN]: Because you miss those adults that everything was kind of like handed to them and you're like, how are you functioning in the world now? [UNKNOWN]: for directional the time or some of the kids that are being creative and fine yeah it's time to build a couch so it's time to see if you can slide down but staircase in a laundry basket and realize you can't and then you're going to do the whole and it's going to be a problem and then you're going to figure it out but like I said put pillows on the bottom because you're smart and actually I think that's the thing the idea of somebody outward looking and judging your life that it's perfect is a shit no one's paying attention to that much [UNKNOWN]: I was just watching an episode of Shit's Creek. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, love that show. [UNKNOWN]: And Alex, this was telling David, like, nobody gives a shit about you. [UNKNOWN]: And it's like no one's paying that close attention to you.

1:47:46 [UNKNOWN]: And I think the ones that are, that's hurtful. [UNKNOWN]: That's weird. [UNKNOWN]: That's creepy. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I think you gotta figure out what works best for your dynamic. [UNKNOWN]: Like if your son wants to watch the whales, like, you know, at the [UNKNOWN]: do it, because it's like leaning into that. [UNKNOWN]: What makes it a dragging them along and while a TV response to that, you said you're dragging them along their miserable, your miserable, your overtight. [UNKNOWN]: If you want to stop at noon and go to the hotel and take a nap and come back. [UNKNOWN]: Like do it like I remember we had to get our money's worth and we were there from the time the ropes drop so the time they said get out and we're exhausted that's it's almost and I don't remember those those you just remember being a part days fondly I actually remember it like this wing like that's annoying I don't want to do this yeah and the best parts of my vacation when I think of my summers growing up it was getting janky like [UNKNOWN]: Squirt gun and squirting my brother in the face while he was watching.

1:48:50 [UNKNOWN]: Like this is your silly. [UNKNOWN]: This is dumb things that I did. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: The things that I thought I could do when I'm bored and I used to just build stuff and make stuff and write stuff. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I would go see if a friend was around and I would go get lost and. [UNKNOWN]: that was summer, and we did nothing. [UNKNOWN]: The beauty of the summer. [UNKNOWN]: The beauty of the night did nothing. [UNKNOWN]: And I think that's what we miss as adults as we obviously can't take the summer off to do nothing. [UNKNOWN]: But I think if you look especially high functioning like you and I, who are doing a lot of things, it's that never stops. [UNKNOWN]: We never have stopping to do nothing and I think that's why vacations don't hit the same way Is because sometimes all I want to do like you said in your house Almost just want to get caught up, but it's almost like I think we're missing the point we want to do nothing For a little bit this and we're never allowed that anymore and we're saying like if our we let our kids do nothing They're not Condemically enriched.

1:49:46 [UNKNOWN]: They're not physically enriched. [UNKNOWN]: They're not culturally enriched [UNKNOWN]: and you're failing as a parent because you're not providing these experiences for your kid because you everything has to be about your kid and everything has to be about your kid and everything has to be about your kid or kids or yeah and I go, what about you? [UNKNOWN]: Barney raised me, captain planet raised me and I am [UNKNOWN]: like there was a long path. [UNKNOWN]: There was an eye twitch. [UNKNOWN]: I know and saw that I saw that eye twitch, but it's not because I did nothing. [UNKNOWN]: I'm there were other things. [UNKNOWN]: I think if I had been allowed to do more, just sit in my room or read and do nothing, let me do the things that I wanted to do, which was most of the time, nothing and sleep all day great.

1:50:33 [UNKNOWN]: And I have guilt over it. [UNKNOWN]: And I have guilty alert. [UNKNOWN]: You'll be fine. [UNKNOWN]: You'll be an adult. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, with adult money. [UNKNOWN]: You'll go do what you wanted to do. [UNKNOWN]: Or if you're a kid. [UNKNOWN]: Speak up. [UNKNOWN]: And it's like the answer is I want to go. [UNKNOWN]: I want to go to this thing. [UNKNOWN]: Then we'll find a way to do those things. [UNKNOWN]: But if your answer is I want to do nothing. [UNKNOWN]: Well, then maybe I should do nothing. [UNKNOWN]: And the only thing is with Ryan going to camp is. [UNKNOWN]: I'm okay with him doing nothing, but I also need my husband he's a break to like he needs a break to do nothing Yeah, and I think that's it's just finding that balance of what are your non-agosciples for your family But what are your non-agosciples for yourself?

1:51:14 [UNKNOWN]: Yeah because again you're still going through this life the first time You're still this is your first time being in your 40s unless you really sucked in we're reincarnating Yeah, but then you can raise for wives [UNKNOWN]: So it's still, but yeah, you need to better get better. [UNKNOWN]: God's like do this again, but I think sometimes with our trauma as we're younger, it's almost feels like we have to keep going, going, going, going. [UNKNOWN]: And we can't stop because if you stop, then you're not productive, you're not productive, you're not successful. [UNKNOWN]: You're not successful, you're shit. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: And I think all of these, [UNKNOWN]: people who are in the military who fought for our right and died for our right, died for your ability to eat ice cream and do nothing and do you read them the freedom was to do you and not have society just completely tell you what you need to do.

1:52:00 [UNKNOWN]: I think that's what Memorial Day is all of as like the sacrifices made so you can just have a fucking minute and just experience some freaking joy like no. [UNKNOWN]: When I think of those, give those years an out-to-stop and reflect. [UNKNOWN]: I think sometimes we forget so much that sometimes we truly need to have those days that we'd be still. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, and the brain. [UNKNOWN]: And I think that's hard for people that are always going going because I think we'd like it too much and it's hard to get back into the group, you know? [UNKNOWN]: But it's still think it's so important to find [UNKNOWN]: I always tell people like, my husband is like my white noise machine, sometimes it's my brain that when I'm with him and like we're driving down to Disney or we're driving down somewhere and he's in control that I can just.

1:52:45 [UNKNOWN]: Finally, yes, I want to be a passenger princess so bad. [UNKNOWN]: It's so great. [UNKNOWN]: And this, I want to, I want to just grab his hand and he just leads me somewhere and I don't even know where I'm going. [UNKNOWN]: And then he has food ready for me. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, and I just have to say those moments I. Ray. [UNKNOWN]: Because it's finally gets back to I feel like a better person. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and I think that's the hard thing and as women we are always the one that has to kind of like lead and guide and This is what we should do and because we're always thinking seven steps ahead. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, so it helpful when somebody else does it for us [UNKNOWN]: I feel like we have a business idea of how we could do this for women. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And if I was going to give it a nice first men and just on that vein for a moment, summer is really hard on a lot of mom.

1:53:30 [UNKNOWN]: I'm very I can't speak to because I know that my husband does so much heavy lifting for us, but I know so many moms were there the ones and they have to do it like men. [UNKNOWN]: You guys know how to do these things. [UNKNOWN]: You can plan. [UNKNOWN]: You plan plenty of golf trips and plenty of fishing trips. [UNKNOWN]: You plan plenty of like these outings that you go on with your guys. [UNKNOWN]: You plan plenty of dinners that you go out with your guys. [UNKNOWN]: You know how to do this. [UNKNOWN]: Like it's just getting a mentality of what would help her. [UNKNOWN]: And if she's planning it, great. [UNKNOWN]: Like you know you trust she's planning it, she's packing it, she's it. [UNKNOWN]: What she's asking for you to do is be in that with her and support her and do something for her if she's packing all of the laundry and doing all the laundry and packing for all the kids and making sure everything is there and making sure you have a bag of medicine because you got little ones like and doing the formula.

1:54:23 [UNKNOWN]: Go get that woman some taco, Taco Bell can deliver you go get that woman get some daughter something where she didn't have to worry about feeding herself that day yeah go get that woman a massage go when she's done packing make sure that there is some moment like throw on her favorite you know date line and make sure that she's like ready with some tea and her wine or whatever she likes and then but if you know [UNKNOWN]: You go here it is like like you know her you should know her, but you do yeah, and you know you do Take care her because she's taken care of everything else and [UNKNOWN]: you don't plan the trip though you could that could be a thing yes step in step in a little bit and yeah and in some cases you're just giving a commission or yeah sometimes it's giving her a permission I remember when when my youngest he went to like school um you know when he was like part-time I was just like I don't know to do with myself because I family don't have a kid my husband's like you know you could just take a day off and I was like no there's a [UNKNOWN]: You can, you can just go take a day off.

1:55:36 [UNKNOWN]: I didn't know you could do that. [UNKNOWN]: And he gave me the permission. [UNKNOWN]: I'm like, I'm just okay. [UNKNOWN]: I'm going to go to the movies and he's like, do it and I want to do things like that. [UNKNOWN]: So bad. [UNKNOWN]: And I like I keep thinking I can't I don't have time. [UNKNOWN]: I can't because you don't have time. [UNKNOWN]: I don't do permission to myself. [UNKNOWN]: And yeah, you need permission. [UNKNOWN]: And I need someone who goes. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I want you can do that. [UNKNOWN]: So every ever since the first day of school, because I've been the one that's been the manager of the summer Yeah, I take the day off and I go to the movies and I go shopping and I go do a day for myself And then I show up. [UNKNOWN]: So girl, you are you up for mission. [UNKNOWN]: You're more welcome to join me. [UNKNOWN]: I have seen some of the dumbest movies by the way. [UNKNOWN]: And I've been hearing is the wet dream that I just [UNKNOWN]: My husband knows that sound.

1:56:20 [UNKNOWN]: I just made him. [UNKNOWN]: He's leaving. [UNKNOWN]: So does that. [UNKNOWN]: He's. [UNKNOWN]: He burst. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, he doesn't hear it all at often. [UNKNOWN]: Because that's what I say. [UNKNOWN]: You're more than what I thought. [UNKNOWN]: Because I think the world just heard that. [UNKNOWN]: So do I find no shame? [UNKNOWN]: Because again, I think we need permission to take a day off. [UNKNOWN]: And that is my. [UNKNOWN]: So the day the first day of school. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, keep talking. [UNKNOWN]: You're almost. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I thought, I'm going to make you a little sexy. [UNKNOWN]: First off, school this kids, get on the bus. [UNKNOWN]: And then I take my ass to go get some breakfast at Panera, because I like Panera breakfast. [UNKNOWN]: And then I move and go down to the go get a movie, and I get popcorn, and I get butter on that popcorn, and I get some milk duds, and I sit, and the only one in that theater, because everybody else did not get the memo, and I am sitting there quiet.

1:57:10 [UNKNOWN]: Let me watch a movie and no one is asking me for anything the thing is happening and then I get out and then I go to T.J. Mac And I wander and I get lunch. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, I'm quick for me Here's what she's saying. [UNKNOWN]: They're not getting any of the visual. [UNKNOWN]: I need you to understand what's happening. [UNKNOWN]: I messed up this day. [UNKNOWN]: She's staying In the water. [UNKNOWN]: This is top to your smoke [UNKNOWN]: Yes, this is top tier and when you got to close my eyes because it's creepy to look at somebody when you're in a moment Like we're looking a way wide eyes like I'm looking directly in the eye. [UNKNOWN]: Why are you looking at me to close your eyes? [UNKNOWN]: I'm like my eyes are close. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and I'm feeling everything she's saying right now and and then I mean I'm going back to the best time right when it is and that is the first day back to school [UNKNOWN]: Some fucking time for myself.

1:58:07 [UNKNOWN]: I'm not doing errands. [UNKNOWN]: I'm not picking up prescriptions. [UNKNOWN]: I'm not doing any like I'm not doing any errands. [UNKNOWN]: That day is specifically a selfish day I need a cigarette in a sandwich. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, there we go. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, no, I've never had a cigarette before by the way, but I know he was what she is describing. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it's crack. [UNKNOWN]: It's better than the best foul movement. [UNKNOWN]: You've ever had it's better than and you just gone through good [UNKNOWN]: You have just gone through war as summer because let's say like this like, oh, let's say no, monks have been through war. [UNKNOWN]: We have been like through the battlefield and we need a fucking day and there's some moms they're like, oh, let's all go to breakfast.

1:58:48 [UNKNOWN]: That's like 20 people. [UNKNOWN]: I don't need that shit. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I don't want to go socialize with 20 people. [UNKNOWN]: I love that's great, great journey for you. [UNKNOWN]: I'm by myself. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, a rabbit can't do what she's so good girl. [UNKNOWN]: I bring a book. [UNKNOWN]: And I go to a restaurant. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And I read my book in the restaurant. [UNKNOWN]: And I take as long as I fucking want to eat my lunch. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: I'm down. [UNKNOWN]: I'm down. [UNKNOWN]: I'm there. [UNKNOWN]: I'm with you. [UNKNOWN]: Good for fun and us. [UNKNOWN]: It's perfect. [UNKNOWN]: You don't even have to sit next to me in the movie. [UNKNOWN]: I don't even see another movie. [UNKNOWN]: I'll just drive with you. [UNKNOWN]: Sometimes you need a little strange. [UNKNOWN]: Right.

1:59:28 [UNKNOWN]: College of all, whole other movie. [UNKNOWN]: I don't give a shit. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: But that's like, I mean, I've, like, where are movie theaters? [UNKNOWN]: I've, like, me andered into Ulta and just Perus. [UNKNOWN]: And then I'm just like, okay, where do I want to go? [UNKNOWN]: I want to go to the good T.J. Max. [UNKNOWN]: And I got time because I went to go see the movie at 10 o'clock in the morning. [UNKNOWN]: And then I go, and then that's what I do. [UNKNOWN]: That's what I do. [UNKNOWN]: Mind blowing. [UNKNOWN]: I know. [UNKNOWN]: And I think we need more days like a selfish day. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I need you once, once more, ladies at night. [UNKNOWN]: Is that the stage? [UNKNOWN]: You have. [UNKNOWN]: Like the candles. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: This is fellas. [UNKNOWN]: Play the last five minutes of this podcast and get her permission for your woman and say I have the sexiest yes I have the sexiest thing and then if you really wanted to do like I'm just telling you because my husband's figured this out then I have myself a stay have the kids need come to home and he's ordered food.

2:00:19 [UNKNOWN]: And he is like no shit. [UNKNOWN]: Tell me your day and I get to sit on the couch with him. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, that man gets laid every single time Yes, I have never been morning and then I know I'm right. [UNKNOWN]: Do you know what he says after the full thing when I say basically I've done nothing? [UNKNOWN]: I'm so proud of you [UNKNOWN]: I know, right? [UNKNOWN]: Like, this kick it better than this smut. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I'm so proud of you. [UNKNOWN]: I don't care what phase you're eating. [UNKNOWN]: I don't care what your videos you're watching. [UNKNOWN]: No, the best. [UNKNOWN]: So, that's how you keep on there. [UNKNOWN]: Tell us, play the last five or ten minutes of this podcast for your woman. [UNKNOWN]: Right now and then and tell her you have permission and tell her what food ask her what food she wants Yeah, and you make it happen and that it will be the best and then you let that seriously and then you let her tell you about her day and then If you really want to like see the deal like show me what you bought All right, okay, so this is one of those moments where you get the second thing.

2:01:17 [UNKNOWN]: Now you start to see you like when you see my husband [UNKNOWN]: As always, like, you guys are so cute together. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, there's a reason, because this command has figured that out. [UNKNOWN]: Now, you see, Adonza is an ID 10T problem somewhere else. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, but that, every first day of school, first day of school, that's what we do. [UNKNOWN]: I'm, okay, I'm here. [UNKNOWN]: I'm here for it. [UNKNOWN]: Welcome to summer to everybody. [UNKNOWN]: I know that all of you just felt what I just felt. [UNKNOWN]: It's magical. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know if I can even get up. [UNKNOWN]: I need a minute. [UNKNOWN]: Like does relax and just that day will get you through the hard day Yeah, because you know it's coming. [UNKNOWN]: You know just imagining it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, just was so good for me I'm a cool don't look right.

2:01:58 [UNKNOWN]: I'm not going to look at you because this is what me this again when you need to I think this is the thing. [UNKNOWN]: I'm hot now It's right turn the AC up because I know I get to this like listen just say [UNKNOWN]: He did self-care day and husbands knew this. [UNKNOWN]: It's like you want to know what women want. [UNKNOWN]: We are not that difficult. [UNKNOWN]: You just give us permission because we are all overworked like eldest daughter syndrome. [UNKNOWN]: You just can have to do shit. [UNKNOWN]: This is care. [UNKNOWN]: Be honest, care, you didn't have to. [UNKNOWN]: Do he just either he seriously just ordered like whatever it is like it was taken care of and it was just like thank you I appreciate it. [UNKNOWN]: Do you know how great the rest of the week was he could do anything. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I was like you do it Yeah, you do you do you do it baby and you didn't have to do anything you just had to give me permission and not question how much I spent Yes, that's all I had to do it irresponsible.

2:02:48 [UNKNOWN]: I came home. [UNKNOWN]: I went time. [UNKNOWN]: I went to Barnes and Noble [UNKNOWN]: Well, I'm not okay. [UNKNOWN]: So I have the trifecta. [UNKNOWN]: I'm not allowed to go to Michael's Barnes and Noble or DSW on yourself. [UNKNOWN]: You can. [UNKNOWN]: No, yes. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, myself. [UNKNOWN]: But that's the addiction trifecta. [UNKNOWN]: I buy all of the things everything I love is there. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, those are the places. [UNKNOWN]: That's it. [UNKNOWN]: All I'm saying is find one day like just on a place. [UNKNOWN]: I write like I've come back with like four books or 10. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know. [UNKNOWN]: Maybe 10. [UNKNOWN]: I came back with. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I was trying to get one less than that, but it's going to go in. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: And then somebody gave me this. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, by the way, Barnes and Noble is having a memorial day stuff. [UNKNOWN]: This guy won't get one half off. [UNKNOWN]: Please, good. [UNKNOWN]: That would be one that I would suggest. [UNKNOWN]: I just came back from it.

2:03:28 [UNKNOWN]: But that's one of Noble's hit me up. [UNKNOWN]: See. [UNKNOWN]: And that's what I think we need. [UNKNOWN]: As moms, I think you need to get the permission of like you get to have a super selfish day. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And do whatever they tell you want. [UNKNOWN]: And husband's just support that. [UNKNOWN]: Because again, she will [UNKNOWN]: That's the same thing we'll ever feel in her life, right? [UNKNOWN]: And it is like a normal person. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, because she's just been through fucking hell through the summer and then you get for that, I kid you not and then honestly, I should start doing it at the end of like Christmas too. [UNKNOWN]: place a year. [UNKNOWN]: This should be by. [UNKNOWN]: It's like a biannual sin. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, done, done, done, change approved, right? [UNKNOWN]: And then, man, I'm just saying, if you really, we'll get to the matriarchy, guys, right?

2:04:12 [UNKNOWN]: Man, if you really want the best BJ, the matriarchy gives some great BJs. [UNKNOWN]: I'm just saying, they're happy and my fulfilled and other places, like you are going to feel that in other places. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I'm just saying. [UNKNOWN]: Like, I don't imagine it's what this self-care day if like, because my sentence, sometimes I'm like, I think they need to give away the girls. [UNKNOWN]: And my husband always be like, yeah, you should. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, you go work hard. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm like, stop it. [UNKNOWN]: It's already getting turned off. [UNKNOWN]: Stop it. [UNKNOWN]: It's like, go get some girlfriends. [UNKNOWN]: Like, well, that's a problem. [UNKNOWN]: Or I think you're doing the girl friends. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, but it's like, it all the husbands just got together. [UNKNOWN]: Like, let's say you like had like a planning thing. [UNKNOWN]: And it's like, when are we going to get our wives together to have a self-care weekend?

2:04:53 [UNKNOWN]: Could you fucking imagine? [UNKNOWN]: The BJs that we would get. [UNKNOWN]: Oh my god. [UNKNOWN]: I think anything would be on the table at that point. [UNKNOWN]: Oh my god for you too. [UNKNOWN]: I want. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: Everybody would be like fulfilled in that. [UNKNOWN]: I'm saying because then you can say like baby you're going to go. [UNKNOWN]: I put like here's extra money just for fun. [UNKNOWN]: That you need it, but like here's like whatever you want. [UNKNOWN]: I want you to have the best time. [UNKNOWN]: And I just like make you know Uber all that door dash all that set up ready to go anytime you want for your little girls become mother. [UNKNOWN]: I'm just saying it. [UNKNOWN]: So my husband has been like us a spa day like he knows when I'm getting squirrely and you have a few as body. [UNKNOWN]: It is the hottest he ever is.

2:05:33 [UNKNOWN]: I know when this is the where we want to take control right this is where we want this is this is this is the submission I send it. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, it is where I will submit in life and I will be petty. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, it's just anything you want. [UNKNOWN]: Absolutely. [UNKNOWN]: Just say yes, and I think that's the we're getting to the answer is just say yes, and I think we saying in the summer thing yes or so, and I know work is hard. [UNKNOWN]: And I know everything's hard say fuck off to everybody's opinion say no to that, but say yes to loving yourself. [UNKNOWN]: And that's the theme of this thing. [UNKNOWN]: That's the show. [UNKNOWN]: Go isn't play this for your do it for your wife play this for your friend. [UNKNOWN]: the one listen you're here. [UNKNOWN]: So you're gonna play this for you. [UNKNOWN]: He doesn't care.
