Kimberly Brock has been a business owner for 26 years, and she still loves the beginning of things.
It started in 2000, selling at pop-up shows with a friend. By 2003 she had opened her first online store, back when Amazon was still known for books. She ran two online boutiques until 2019, and that same year she started She's Just Getting Started, now a top 1% globally ranked podcast. For six years she's been right there with women as they start and build businesses and podcasts of their own, celebrating the wins and talking through the hard parts.
These days she's podcasting and back in retail with what she calls an encouragement boutique: gifts for women who are starting something, building something, or stepping into a new chapter and a new season.
When she's not working, she's happiest near the beach with a good cup of coffee, and she will never turn down fresh sushi. She lives with her husband of 30-plus years, and together they have three wonderful young adult children and a precious Malshi named Tucker.
