How to Think Like an Investigator with Dan Goodwin | RR207

How to Think Like an Investigator with Dan Goodwin | RR207

In this episode, we take a look at how mastering good investigative techniques can lead to business success. My guest, Dan Goodwin, spent 20 years as an internal interrogation specialist (within a Fortune 100 company) and now uses his investigative background to assist business owners and corporate management teams in researching and obtaining information to move their businesses forward.

Dan explains how the skill of “pattern interrupt” can help us break out of our trances and think critically. He also shares tips on how to determine truthful or deceptive behaviour using nonverbal clues, and what qualities make a great investigator or researcher.

Also, Dan shares his strategies for building rapport with people you’re networking with, and how to use LinkedIn as a relationship starter and networking tool – in complete alignment with my thinking also.

A little about me:

I began my career as a teacher, was a corporate trainer for many years, and then found my niche training & supporting business owners, entrepreneurs & sales professionals to network at a world-class level. My passion is working with motivated people, who are coachable and who want to build their businesses through relationship marketing and networking (online & offline). I help my clients create retention strategies, grow through referrals, and create loyal customers by staying connected.
