After witnessing a brutal slaying from her apartment window, a young woman (Patricia Clarkson) is rendered completely mute by the sheer trauma. Her nightmare intensifies when her unsuspecting husband places her under the psychiatric care of a renowned doctor (Richard Thomas)—who happens to be the very killer she saw across the courtyard. Trapped and unable to speak, she must find her voice before he can silence her permanently.

Sleazy tabloid TV journalist Horton Rivers (Morton Downey Jr.) takes his camera crew inside a notoriously haunted house for a live broadcast, desperate to exploit local tragedy for a massive ratings boost. But as the spirits of the home's murdered former residents begin to manifest in horrifying fashion, Horton realises too late that the real terror isn't a marketing gimmick—and his production team might just keep the cameras rolling until the bitter, bloody end.
