Sen. Ted Cruz and Alejandro Mayorkas got into a heated discussion on Capitol Hill recently in which Cruz accused Homeland Security of putting politics in front of the protection and safety of children. The heated exchange entailed the lack of security at the Sothern border which allows children to be raped, kidnapped and held for ransom.
After ripping into Mayorkas about the rise in illegal border crossings since the Biden administration took power, Sen. Cruz asked Mayorkas of the thousands of illegal immigrants that cross the border, "how many of them are rapists? "
Sen. Cruz would then proceed to drop a heavy bomb on everyone attending the hearing. He would display the different colored or color coded wrist bands that many of the children are forced to wear for as a identifier for the drug cartels.
"These are modern-day leg irons because these are children being sold into sex slavery..." Cruz said, while holding up a wristband.
Cruz continued to rip Sec. Mayor's for not knowing what the wristbands were for, and would go on to ask him how many children had been sold into sex slavery when Sec. Mayorkas refused to answer; Sen. Cruz, stated that the " deaths, the children assaulted the children raped were at the feet of Sec. Mayorkas' feet. Furthermore, Sen. Cruz stated that if the Secretary had any integrity he resign.

These are the conditions that many in the uni party refused to acknowledge. Democratic politicians are often accusing their Republican counterparts of using the border crisis as a political tool or as what they call a "right-wing talking point." thus, most liberals are entirely unaware of the amount if deaths rape and kidnappings accuring at the border.
