I don't think kids will be allowed, but who knows, right, I mean it is Alabama, who knows what the rules are. That's true, That's very true. Welcome to this week's edition The Soveral The show. Lots of discuss here, heading into aw full gear this Saturday from the Key of Form in Englewood, California. But first, Doctor Treyer lots of aw news. But we start with w WA. Over the last couple of months, we've been seeing this teased. He'll turn. Every time we think it's gonna happen, it doesn't happen. There was a deal made at some point with a Judge of Day. We didn't see it executed until this past Monday night. As Drew McIntyre, presumably, I should say, presumably, turns heel helps the Judgment Day retain the tag team titles on Raw, And now we wonder was this the right move for the big Drew care I think for the long term of Drew McIntyre, I think turney heel always helps out. Like you know you and I sat here for the better part two years and saying Drew McIntire's praises for basically carrying the comedy through the pandemic era, and unfortunately for Drew when the crowds came back, it kind of seems like they went in a different direction and kind of forgot about it.

3:24 And for all intensive purposes, his character's kind of fallen a little bit flat. And this is a chance to kind of reinvigorate the character. And for somebody like Drew, who the crowd naturally does like to cheer for, I think it's gonna let him turn heel. He's joining a somewhat I don't want to say a tweet faction, but the Judgment Day gets a good reaction so he can stay cool and relevant and eventually, you know, go back to being a babyface. So and that's if he actually is in the judgment day or maybe he's just I mean j D mcdonnough officially guy accepted. Maybe he's taken JD mcdonne's spot. As you know, he's auditioning for the brand. So that was a lot of thing which is great for professional wrestling.

4:06 So all around this so far the storyline, let me just say, great for professional wrestling because the build up to this, it didn't randomly happen. We've kind of seen the tea leaves. There were times where it looked like it was going to happen and it didn't, but then it finally took place. I've enjoyed that part, Doctor Trey. I've really enjoyed the build towards what we saw this past Monday night with with Drew McIntyre on the first part of this. Yeah, I mean, I think you know, we go back to right before the crowd Jewel match with Seth and you were talking about, you know, Drew explaining why he's felt the way he's felt. I love the build because it made you understand why he was feeling the way he felt, So you kind of got that depth of the character build. And that's maybe something maybe Drew's character has lacked during his time in ww' is maybe the character hasn't had much as much depth as needed. But when all this plays out, you go, oh, oh, I totally understand why he did it, but it does kind of make him a dick, so that's why you end up booing him. But you understand why he did what he is. So I love that part of it and the sense of it makes sense for him to do what he did. Okay, and now the second part here Judgment Day, is he a member? That's the question Mark Hendon into this Monday's edition of Raw. Now is he a member? Or was he paying back a deal to Rhea Ripley? Did he? And then I guess the third part of this I'll hold right now. But that second part

5:36 we'll discuss. What is your interpretation Did he join Judgment Day? My interpretation he did not. My interpretation was that Rhea makes deals. We saw her do that with Paul Hayman we started doing Bloodline. This is her making a deal because I think the inter the interwoven story of who is the leader of Judgment Day is it's own entity. And if you put Juke back, if you put Drew in Judgment Day, he becomes the defective leader just based on positioning on the car. So if you have him turned heel and basically have an alliance with them, then he's not officially in the group. It's just that, Hey, if I need to make a deal for that backup, I know I can do that. So it kind of makes two storylines, two separate storylines, instead of one storyline itself. Okay, and then the third thing, is it really a heel turn? I mean, we're saying, yep, that's a heel turn, but you presumably could see Drew McIntyre comes out and says that was just payback for jay Uso costing him the World Championship back at Clashed the Castle on September twenty twenty two, and unfortunately Cody Rhodes was a casual team and at all. Yeah, I still think it's a heel turn because jay Usso's one of the most popular stars in the show, So if you attack somebody else popular, then that makes you a douchebag.

6:57 I don't disagree with what you're saying. I think maybe his inter ditation of it would not be I just turned heel and screw everybody. I think, I think, and that's what I was saying, like the depth of the character, explaining why he's been sullen and kind of booty in whatever else it was leading up to the magic Seth was laying that death and one of the great one of the things I always Paul Hayman Jay Roberts Brittle said these things when I was growing up about the heels. The best heels are the ones who believe what they're saying. And if you look at that guy he's saying, he's saying, there's always that element of truth in whatever that he'll say. And we see that with what Drew's doing that there's an element of truth to everything he's saying. So that makes it much more believable as to why he's now going down this path. Yeah, it's it's a really really nice throwback storyline that I've seen here play out. You don't really see this.

7:54 I guess I should take this back because nowadays, like the last four or five years, you do, but I would say twenty years, you know, leading up to that, you didn't, so props all around to W E to W when they do this type of stuff, and it's it's really cool, it's enjoyable. So now the next steps Withdrew. I think everybody is assuming he is the fifth man for a Wargames match with a judgment day taking on Cody Rhoads, seth Ron's, Jay us and Sammy Zain. We have not heard anything that leads us to believe it's gonna be a five on five like it traditionally has been. So I mean, what are the next steps here, Doctor Trey? Is he in the Wargames match one? Two? Coming out of that? Do you see him feuding with say jay USO or three? Could you see him feuding with Cody Rhodes Because a couple of months ago, I was like, Hey, I see this riding on the wall, Drew's turn and heel give me Drew versus Cody, because I think that's where the money is. Heading into WrestleMania season does not have to be a WrestleMania Season match or feud, but heading into it, rumble elimination Chamber. Sign me up for the direction up until you know what those two characters do heading into WrestleMania. Yeah, I think he'll get added to the match because the Heels need more star power, like you have Finn and you have and you have Damian Price. But I don't know how I think the fans hate Dominic, but I don't think you look at him on the same level as maybe where Jay, Cody, Sammy and Seth are so and then

You put it Drew into the mix, it kind of helps balance it out a little bit, and then you know whoever ends up on the baby face side as well. And I forgot the second part of the question there. I'm sorry, I tell you, Blake, Well, yeah, what's the direction after that? Like, where's he going feud wise? Is it Jay immediately? Is it Cody down the line after j feud? What do you think? I think it's Jay for the next pl e and then Cody heading into Rumbles season. So U I think there's a pay per view in this er. I don't believe there is. After Fyber series, I think we go into Rumbles, But I mean that could be played out on RAW, I mean, which they love to do as well. Well. No, I mean I could easily see them doing Jay and Drew all the way through the Rumble, because obviously if you want Cody to doing the Rumble, he's probably not going. We don't typically the guy who wins doesn't have a match on the show as well. On the women's side, they do because he decided.

10:26 They typically don't. So maybe you do Drew and Jay at the Rumble then going into road block or fat which every one they do in February March. They usually have that one buffer one in between rumble and Madi Oh thelimination chamber, sob you Cody, Maybe you do Cody and Drew at alimination Chamber for Cody's shot at the championship, because Drew thinks he deserves it. And then you get to media, so you might have a series of like a little one off miniviews just to get to media, and you cycle back to you know, during Jay at Mania or Drew it somebody else. God, I can't even believe I'm saying this, but I'm looking at the pl schedule, So Survivor Series November twenty fifth. Then the last pl for w WI in general is NXC deadline in December. There's nothing going on in December, so that means it's almost two full months. It's a little over two full months until the next main roster event, non NXT branded event, which would be the Royal Rumble January twenty seven, twenty twenty four, at Trumpic kind of field. You know, I believe the direction would be Drew McIntyre versus Jay Uso for the next couple of months. Would be my guest six eight weeks. But I do feel like there's a lot of money on the table with Cody Rhods after Rumble February twenty fourth Elimination Chamber. I'm under the belief right now it's going to be Cody versus Roman title Part two Wrestleman forty, But I think I could be heavily suede and a Drew Cody match feud heading

11:56 into WrestleMania. To me, seems like a WrestleMania level type matchup that could steer Cody away from Roman reigns. I just can't see from November to April WWWE not doing some sort of Cody Rhoades Drew mcintar feud unless the plan is for Cody and Drew to feud coming out of many If if they're playing and there's a there's a couple that's a long time that is. But I mean there's still enough babyfaces there between Seth and Sammy and Jay to keep Drew occupied through many a season to then have Cody and Drew feud coming out of it. But once again, if Cody beats Roman, Cody goes a SmackDown, So then that's another issue as well, So like where how's that play out?

12:45 I think Drew and Cody, Uh for Russell me, it could be that could be the backup plan if they lab the Rock, if you do rock and Rollman at Mania, Drew and Cody's a give backup plan. So I think they're kind of teasing this to hedge their bets in case they can't get the commitment from the Rock, then you still go with Cody and Roman and have Drew do something else. So there's a I think this is them kind of interweaving these storylines so that way, continuity wise, they can go in a couple of different directions and the fans still buy into it, you know, regardless of you know, whether the Rock shows up or not in a media I mean, we don't officially talk about this until like I don't know, sixty seven weeks from now when we the Johnson the Heels heard and that's that's coming up. That's a special we're doing on Thanksgiving. It would be right at the preview show, first show of the year. And I think when you look at WrestleMania, I sit here today November sixteen, twenty twenty three saying that when I look at the raw side, which is to me right now a lot more exciting than the SmackDown side heading in WrestleMania, Like, they just have a lot of good stuff going on with Raw right now, Jimmy versus Jay usso WrestleMania, Seth versus Sammy, World Title WrestleMania.

13:54 And I think i'd lean Drew versus Cody right now. I can't believe I'm saying that, but I try believe it's gonna be Cody versus Roman. But at this present time, I'd be like Troop's Cody is is WRESTLEMANI worthy. If you're taking those six guys and you're making them part of that, you know, top of the raw card, I could see that play out, Yeah, and then you can always throw if you don't do Drew and Cody, and say Cody gets the match with Roman, you always throw Drew into the world title match with Seth and sand True, that's a really good point as well. That's a very good point. And then you know, uh, just because you mentioned I'm like, okay, SmackDown side, let's say you let's say you do you know Roman Rock Roman Cody? Either way?

14:35 Do you do? La Knight and Logan Paul at WrestleMania. Boy, they're starting to tease that right now, aren't they. And then what do you do with Kevin Owens, like Kevin Owens Austin theory or Kevin Owens and great, you know Kevin Owens and is a mystery tag partner against Grayson in theory. Like I'm a little intrigued as to like the Grayson Austin theory. Kevin Olsen is fun right now, I don't know if it can last five months. And then you do Kevin Owns and Solo's to Cola me. I was just gonna say Kevin Owens versus Solo. Yeah, So it's it's it's getting to that point though, doctor now, Doctor Trey, where it's okay to start looking at the Wrestlelming a forty card even though it's November sixteenth, it is. I mean to me, I know we talk about Royal Rumble being like the launch to wrestle me, but to me Survivor series it's kind of always been like the soft launch, well the soft launch or maybe like the closing of everything previously to then start the road to WrestleMania. So if you're closing this chapter, what the what's the next chapter look like to get to the finality of the finality of the book. Yeah, it's good stuff.

15:43 It's really really good stuff that's right now playing out on television, and I think Drew turning heel the build up towards it was really good, well executed. The question marks heading into this week's edition of Monday Night Raw is really well executed, and it's great heading into a major pay per V likes to friber series War Games. Will it before four? Will be five on five? If it's five on five, who's gonna be the fifth man for Cody Seth, Sammy and Jay Usso's team. Yeah, hats off to the Raw side right now, Doctor Track, I think I think I just have to say, as a wrestling fan, it was it was really well executed this past monthy pun, It's edition for aw Yeah. I mean, and really the show from top to bottom has got a lot of good depth. I mean you look at the undercard stuff with Gunther and the Miz and then Dy and Imperium, and you know the I of R stuff like I didn't know I want to see if R and Bronzon to refight. I didn't know I wanted to see it, but now I kind of do, like, and then the stuff with shitz K is really good. Like there's just a lot of depth on the show from top to bottom, which is something you and I appreciate. I mean we've we've had wrestled mains where you and I were like, god, there's like two good matches and everything else just wasn't built at all. And then there's been times where were like, no, the entire everybody has the depth and everything looks good, and I mean from the lower car, like, everybody has a purpose, and that's one thing that if you have the heavy roster, you want to make sure everybody has something to do that you're maximizing the abilities and also you're making the most of the money you're investing in these guys. And I simply ask you who do you think is under it? And then who do you want to be under it? Who do I think is under it? It's probably gonna be Roderick Straw. And I say that because of not this past week's show with the week before when mjfa he said, hey, you used to be a great wrestler, and then you had Roderick break the fourth wall look directly at the camera and made the comment aout maybe it's time that I may everybody remember who I am, which I thought was kind of funny because I was like, yeah, yeah, the die hards know who you are, But I don't think you know Kelly, the single mom of like three kids walking down the street. He does. Who the how Roderck Strong was? But I think it's gonna be Roderick. Who would I want to be under the devil mask? Adam Cole? Like that would be the greatest swarm of wall. It just sucks that I'm hoping the ankle injury heals faster just because Adam Cole would be the great reveal as the devil under the mask. I know a lot of names that are flowing out there are Jack Perry, Sam Punk, Britt Baker. Was that a laugh? Oh

Well, I mean if he married Brett Baker, he would take BRIT's last name, because that's who Jack Jack Perry is. If it's Jack Perry, I think I may turn off anyw forever Like that would just be the worst o thigent all time. I think it's I think you got to add it to the speculation though, right is it fair? It's only because like the when you see the devil there's a certain height and a certain build, but then half the roster is five and ninety pounds, so they all kind of fit and that builds, so to speak. I guess you. I mean, I was literally thinking it as like, yeah, we haven't heard a peep out of Jungle Boy since all this stuff with seeing Punkwick downweight, we haven't heard anything, so I guess you have to throw it into the mix. But I mean we I criticized the four Pillar match because I didn't think they built, you know, a couple of guys very well to have Jack Perry come out and be that he's the one that's been you know, he's the devil. He has followers like would just be just got it to be like a slap in the face as a wrestling thing. So according to fight Full Select Sean ross Sapp, one name that can likely be crossed out according to uh to Show, despite the recent Instagram Instagram stories, is one cm Punk quote saying unless it's a giant work on the EVPs, on top talent, on the people that are actually involved in the storyline, it is not Cmpunk seen. Ross Sapp explained, unless it is many of those same people have also said britt Baker's not lying.

Also, according to SAP, the wrestler is currently under the mass of the wrestlers that will be revealed to be the actual identities and aren't just stand ins for a later development, including one that is described as a muscular as muscular, possibly a Wardlow Brian Cage type, though the televised devil might be a stand in for whomever the actual devil will turn out to be. That comes to us again from Vitful Select via Wrestling Inc. So you had three people attack the acclaim, one being very muscular that looked like to me as Wardlow, and then the devil closed that out with the acclaimed to close out? Was it two episodes of Dnamitigo, not the most recently, one priory, so I would say Wardlow is in that group. And then the other two looked to me to be Matt Tavin and Mike Bennett. And then I'm with you, doctor Trey. I think it's roder Strong, but I would love to see it being Adam Cole.

I would put Roderick Strong as the likely Adam Cole as the person I would want, and I would put Jack Perry on that list as somebody that very well could be under that mass because remember the the Devil stand in when they have appeared has been very skinny and not very muscular, So which kind of fits the bill of Jack Perry in half the roster and half the roster of a that is true, it could be Samy gavarr all we know. With that said, do you think Sam mcavar is on your list that would? I would go for Sammy Gavar more than I would Jack Perry. True.

21:55 With that said, do we get to reveal this Saturday at a tow full Gear? No? I think you gotta build it out longer. I mean, as much as you and I love what Jay Why and Bullet Club Gold are doing, I still think MJF it will get in predictions, but I still think you slide past this one and build the anticipation out even more because well to again, I don't think full Gear is a big if you're doing if if their schedule is supposed to be similar, WB's when you know going forward with twelve pay per views and you're gonna have one to have anchor pay per views. I just don't think full Gear is one of those anchor pay per views, especially if we're not if we're getting Kenny and like, we're not really finishing off the Don Callis story with Kenny and Chris, we're getting Bucks and kid Like. It's just a lot of the matches kind of feel like backup matches. I guess in a sense, I think you save it for what stags a time, your revolution. I think you do it a revolution that'd be interesting and say, really really prolonged that. Yeah, I mean I save it as law. I grow it out as long as possible.

22:57 I mean I want people like thing like the whole Drew storyline's taking what four months now, the whole Heel turn Sam, this has only been going on about maybe two months. You got two or three more months. You can play with this and tease the anticipation, try to figure out who it is. So there you go, most see, Well, we see the reveal this Saturday. I'm with doctor Trey. I don't think we see the Devil Mass reveal. I think it continues on and there's another segment that plays out heading into World's end. I think the more likelihood is a World's End reveal to close out twenty twenty three, then one this Saturday at Full Gear. However, one thing that will be revealed at Saturday is Full Gear Doctor Trey will be a top wrestler who is well known and respected by virtually every AW fan coming to Full Gear to sign their contracts Tony Kahan tweeted the following on Wednesday night, quote, AW has agreed to terms with one of the world's best wrestlers, a pro who is known plus respected by virtually every AW fan. They'll come to LA to sign their contract this Saturday, November eighteenth, on pay per view at AW Full Gear. So immediately, obviously everybody is speculating who could it be? The folks who were released in September by we like a Dolph Siguler mustaf Ali. Their contract is not up yet their non compete so that would be next month, so it can't be Dolph.

24:19 Immediately thought it was Dolph, and then once I saw the math on it realize it can't be. Other names that are coming out there. Sammy Callahan, who is a free agent, a former Impact Wrestling champion. One person it won't be, according to Fight Full Select, is former IWGP Women's Champion Mercedes Monet. As she is not expected to be announced as aw's latest signing, the two sides have made plans to work together at some point. Sources within AW reportly have indicated that money is not configured into the plans for the segment at full Gear this weekend, coming again from Fightful Select via Wrestling, Inc. So her name's off the table. Another name that is on the table will Ospray. His contract with New Japan I believe comes up in late January early February, so maybe that AW and New Japan collectively announced that there has been some sort of extension where Osprey will wrestle with both New Japan and All Elite Wrestling. Nonetheless, Doctor Trey. There is another major announcement, another mystery signing coming to us this Saturday. From Tony Kahn's tweet to our Eyes on pay per View, your thoughts on who the major signing could be and what will be let down, surprised or excited this Saturday by the signing from All Lade Wrestling. It's the adjectives major signing like I don't know outside of Sasha Banks and will Ospray. If anybody out there that's actually available would be considered a major signing, like I mean Matt Cardona because he's a Major's

I may I don't know, Like, I just don't know who is out there that, to me would be like on the To me, a major signing is like when they signed Adam call Brian Danielson something like that. You know somebody that goes, oh, crap, I gotta take notice of it outside of will Ospray and Sasha Banks or Mercedes Monet. I just don't know if there's anybody out there that's gonna make me go, oh wow, that's fantastic. I'm incredibly amazed that they pulled this off. Like Sammy Callay is a really solid worker, and you know, maybe given the right situation and the right amount of like a little bit of extra production, he's incredibly like creative as well. I just don't know if AW fans would go, oh, that's a major signing. I think they'd be happy to have him come on board, but I don't think they'd be impressed by it.

26:45 So I honestly, right now, I have no idea who this is because to me, major is Osprey or Monet, and I think Osprey is still holding out for WWD coming with an offer. So I'm totally befuddled by this. I mean, mad Man Fulton, Uh, what's what's uh Tucker doing? From the old uh Tucker and outis steam? I mean, I don't know what they're doing. It's funny you said that. I actually was thinking about him the other day for some reason, which is so bizarre that you brought that up. And then you know, you got the Matt Card Deutas of the world, and there's really not anybody like blowing up the indies right now, like you know, setting the world, you know, saying the world to blaze. So fie would he be a major signing if you know, if you even know who he is. I do know who he is, Yes, yeah, you know, I just I don't know who's out there that's on the level that I would consider a major acquisition given the fact that the Dolls mustafas you know, contract ninety day wise, you know, are really eligible to be a major signing right now? Yeah, I don't know, man. I mean, the problem with these Tony Kahan major announcements is they don't like they used to anymore. Yeah, you know, like when they said they had a major announcement and it was to announce like the on sale ticket date for All Out or All In in Wembley, Uh, this upcoming summer. I was like really like why, Like it just seems

And the more you put out major announcements that aren't good, the more likely it's going to be that people don't give a shit anymore. So this is this is an important one Dot Trey. I mean this signing. Could you imagine if it if it doesn't hit? Uh? I mean, are we at like yelling fire in a crowded building at with Tony Conners the major announcements where he's done it so many times that when they're actually is a major announcement, nobody will tune in because we've been kind of let down, like yeah, he's had some really really big ones, and then he's had a lot where we were just kind of like, oh, okay, can't that just be an announcements? Like do we have to put the adjective with it to make it seem bigger than it is. I would hope for Tony com because I think there's a lot of fans who feel the way we feel about these major announcements that typically were kind of just let down by it. And if it's not Mercedes Mona or Will Osprey, like once again, like what's he gonna pull out of his what's he gonna pull that makes us go, Holy cow, that's great. Did he buy Impact and not tell us?

We just signed an entire company's roster of wrestlers, like he just bought out GCW or like you know, like what is I don't I just don't know what is available? But then again, he is Sammy Callahan worth of two. I know you're a Sami fan. I'm a Sammy Callahan fan. I love Sammy, But I don't know if I would announce Samy as a major sighting, you know, Like I don't think, I think too Like I think I love the phrasing of it. It's a well respected wrestler by AEW fans. So are we saying that those are the diary fans and we know all who the good wrestlers are that are available, and we would think it's a major announcement, but the casual public wouldn't like it's you know, with my job in marketing, it's it's all about phrasing in the psychology behind what you say. It's like the phrasing of it's a well respected wrestler by AEW fans. No, it's not a well respected wrestling you know, well great wrestler by wrestling fans. It was specific to ae W fans, So you know that kind of puts in there. Like Nami, it's if they can pull Kazuhio Kada like you know, Tanahashi, like it makes them exclusive to AW and take them from New Japan, that would that would fall into that category. But once again, we don't know who's actually available that he can pull off. So if he pulls the same with Kalahan, I think both wrestling fans would be kind of like, hey, solid, But I mean, I don't know how excited AW fans would be about going is that a major signing? If it is, say Kenny,

31:06 let's make a prediction here, who's the signing. They're saying it's not Mercedes Monette, so who's the signing? Uh, I'll just say Callahan because I feel like that's the safe thing.
