It's just usually for the NFL um in baseball at times as well. But so it's actually come up with our own wrestling fantasy draft is pretty cool. Now, We'll say this. I don't know if you ever watched it up Up Down Down Chat or up Up Down Down channel on YouTube, but Xavier was Tyler Breeze have done battle the brands their their GM stuff for GM mode on the wrestling on the video games, and it became so popular. They're in this year's game as GM. So maybe if this takes off, we get added to it as well. Who knows now that Now there's my GM and w E two K twenty three. Did you get the game yet? Yes, Okay, I played it because I'm still I cheat.

1:34 I always wait till somebody makes it a really good uh Bubba Ray Dudley uhports has And then I tweaked that to make it look more like me, because apparently we look similar. So I always kind of wait. So we've we've messed around a little bit. But I played two K twenty two GM mode like NonStop for the better part of like the last eight months. Yeah. And the original one was was it smacked Down? Was it versus SmackDown twenty twenty six? Two two thousand and six, Yeah, two thousand and six. They did SmackDown versus Rolls. She's actually one of the better I mean we I mean, we've got we've done video game debates on here before, but you know, I think SmackDown versus Row two guns and six is actually one of the underrated games. So but yeah, and then they did their own version of like create a wrestler to like update the rosters, and then the funny part was they were doing it and then they had the massive releases, So like everybody they had made, they had to release because w would let him stake keep in the game. At least the last two years though they haven't really had any handcuffs on restrictions for that. Yeah, I know that they do that. I don't watch it. Um. I have not bought any of the video games in a long time, but I've was like, you know, after WrestleMania, it's we need a little bit of a break to wrest the brain from everything that's going on the world professional wrest saying So if if you're listening to this podcast, think like you're gonna hear about this week's you know what's going on in the world of professional wrestling, Wait until next week's podcast when we're back in our normal mode. 3:08 a little bit of a reprieve allows us to take a little bit of break from from post WrestleMania, because we've been going hard here since the last the holidays ended and went into the year and for all of WrestleMania season. And I was like this, I was I was like, what can we do that like gives us that little break? And I thought to myself, I was like, let's I wonder if like a fantasy promotion draft on the pot would work. It would be like a fun thing that the listeners can can talk about on Twitter, Facebook, what have you. And I pitched the idea to you and you instantly like loved it. I didn't even have to explain it all that much to You're like, no, I love this idea. I think this is gonna be a lot of fun. Yeah, Like I love fantasy draft. I love like I'm my wife, like like even on Madden I play Franchise Mode and I'm constantly going through and drafting people, doing free agency sign and trades and all stuff like that's I like getting into the weeds on stuff like this. So this is kind of like not saying it's my wheelhouse because I think that was copyrighted at one time, but it's right up my alley. Like this is stuff I love doing. I love it. And this is like, I mean, we did this we were kids, like you bust out the pear the pro Wrestling illustrator, look at the back and look at the rankings and do your dream matches and if I was doing a federation, who would be my champion and going through all that stuff like that. So you know, this is kind of in that same vein, So this is kind of like, you know, the boyhood dream becoming reality for us when it comes to fancy drafting for wrestling. Yeah,

4:40 and I like you, Doctor Trey when I do MLB the show, when I do Matt And that's like my favorite thing is the free agency, the trades, the draft, Like that's the best part. Is the general manager aspect of being in charge of your sports franchise or in the case of WI Fans when you're doing the video game, being in charge of your wrestling promotion. So hey, listen, we're coming out of Roundsmania, might as well do the Fantags to Promotion Draft special. And how we're going to do it is we're going to reveal our promotion name. Um, We're going to do ten rounds for male wrestlers, so we're each going to choose ten male wrestlers. We're going to do ten rounds for female wrestlers, five rounds for tag teams, two rounds for commentators, and two rounds for backstage interviewers. So I don't know how this is going to work out. It's the very first time we've ever done this in six hundred and eighty eight episodes of SRTU.

5:33 This is the very first time we've ever done something like this, But I saw a review recently from from one of our listeners on iTunes, and thank you for whoever did that, UM, for writing that, and we encourage everybody to continue to do that, because that's how we climb the charts on iTunes. Like I said, say each and every week, and they had made mention like how they enjoyed when we do UM. I think it was like the first show of the year where we preview the world of professional wrestling and enjoy our special shows, and that's something I feel like over the last several years we've kind of gotten away from because I think Doctor Trey alluded to it a couple of weeks ago on the podcast, like ever since the pandemic, it's been nothing but like literally covering rest in news each of the week, and we don't get a chance to do these shows that we're part of, like the first you know, round of I don't know, two hundred and fifty three hundred episodes of SRTU. So it's great to get back into this and yeah, we'll just kind of give it a shot and take it from here. So are you ready to go for for this, Doctor Trey, I do have a question for you. First question, are you doing snake draft? Yeah? Yeah, we'll do snake draft, okay. And then second question is when it comes to tag teams, are you were you thinking teams that are normal tag teams or are you including like the Sammy, Kevin Braun Ricochet, Like, well, how are you What was your mindset on that? I would I would allow tag teams that are currently wrestling, so like yeah, Ricochet, Um, but I mean if if one of

7:04 us chooses Sammy and Kevin that you know you can't go and then say, um kens a tag team? Yeah, say yeah, that would make no sense, right, Okay. I just wanted a little bit of clarification on that because I didn't. That's also why, like I was we were talking about earlier, like how we're gonna get do guys for your males first and then tag teams because I'm sure within twenty picks one of us is going to take Heaven or Sammy. Yeah no. And then I would also say, what do you think in the same vein or in the same area here, what would you say if somebody like drafted. Just like if someone was like, I'm gonna get Jay Uso in my male wrestlers, would you would you allow that? Or do the USO's need to be a tag team? You're if you're building your promotion and you think you can make Jay Husso a huge single star that we can take the USO's out of the tag team, you think, okay, fair, Yeah, we'll see how this goes. I mean, really see how this goes. But yeah, we're playing it by hear here. So all right, promotion name? Do you want to go first? Hear and reveal your promotion name? Doctor True? Do you want me to go first? No, I'll go ahead and go first. So I told you I'll are so back in uh god, probably the early days of this show, like right before I like back in the days of uh you know, when you and I first met. I did a streaming show using my PlayStation to create my own wrestling show. So it wasn't pay e fed, but all my characters were based off people I knew, Like Jeff Peck was a wrestler in my game. He was called the franchise Jeff Peck

8:35 based off his character for me a game show, so that show was called Vicious Circle Wrestling, and it's a name that I've always loved, always wanted to start my own promotion with that name. Plus I always liked the VCW because it sounds like ECW. So that's the day of my promotion is Vicious Circle Wrestling, all right? I like it there, Vicious Circle Wrestling VCWB. Doctor trace fromoan Um, I went with SGW. Do you want to take a guess? Uh, short guy wrestling clothes close close um, soulless ginger wrestling. Oh, I liked. I was thinking off air, like after we talked. Yet the other day Big Peck Big Pecker or Big Hecker Wrestling would have been great as well BPW DPW, So just you know, I was like, I mean, I can do you think he did doctor Dammikins like that? But this is kind of something else. I've had my in my back pocket for god close to fifteen years. So but you know, I like souless ginger wrestling, but also means then you can only draft ginger, so your ronster will be really really small. Well that's all it's so shamous is my first pick um and then followed by counter just because of his skin complexion. Um, all right, doctor Try, I think we should get into this year male wrestlers the first round. Um, do you want me to go with the first pick? Here? I in my head I had you taken the first pick. Okay, I'll let you go first,

All right, let me take a Roman off my board. So my number one pick is going to be Seth Freaking Rolins. Wow. Okay, there you go. So Round one is in Seth Freaking Rollins taken by Doctor Trey, Roman Reigns taken by me. Doctor Trey, you want to go with the next pick? Yeah? My next pick? Um, I'm almost dreading this pick because I don't know how it's gonna play out. But I am going to take m jf as my number two pick. All right, I like it. Well, and it's that's gonna be the face of your company because it is souls ginger wrestling. That's true that I forget, you know, he is a Ginger often forgotten because I feel like Shamus gets all of that. Yeah, um, but yeah these are so are these all wrestlers that are basically active. I guess we should say that because like we can't be like, oh, I'm gonna take Stone Cold Steve Boston right now, I took even so am on my list. I don't have anybody that has quote unquote retire, but I do have guys who are out injured, like Randy Orton, Biggie AJ. They're on my list. But yeah, like no, okay, yeah that would be crazy, like like Rick Flair because he wrestled the match last year. No no, no, um, all right, I'm gonna add my first AW wrestler. I'm gonna go with Kenny Omega at my number five pick. Oh I love Kenny Man, He's a man.

Now, now I this is with full intention of if these guys don't have like constantly getting injured all time. So at six, I'm gonna come back and take Gray Wyatt. Okay, that's a Hey, that's a good pick, right y. Yeah, I'm just looking for I'm looking for like a diversity on my team as well. UM my pick at number six, six, I'm gonna go with Cassa Chica Okada from New Japan Pear Wrestling. So I'm gonna go with Okada. And I told you off the air that I didn't have a single new japan guy on on my list. As I was gonna run out, I felt like you, Um, I feel like you kind of kicked yourself about that, though I did. And then because like you know, we were kind of putting this not last minute, but as I was running through names, I'm like, I remembered Okada and Tona Hashi and then all of a sudden went blank on every other Japanese wrestler in the world. I literally forgot she Kay Knackamer until right before we started the start the broadcast. Unfortunately, Yeah, he's not around all that much anymore. Um, all right, So I went with Okada at six.

Early on here, I think I'm I'm gonna go and I've been such a huge fan of this this guy, and I've said in the last couple months, like you could build a promotion around him, and he just recently signed with AW. I'm gonna go with J white at A w wasn't even harm my list. I love J white Man. He is a great wrestler. All right. So that's your seven. That's my seventh. So back to you at seven and eight. So seven, let's see, I got a few veterans, Cassie, I gotta go kind of Uh, let's see seven. Who do I want to go seven? This is probably going to be a little early, but I am going to take Carmelo Hayes at number seven. Wow, I would say, I'd say you just showed me up there with the Jye pick early. That is definitely an early pick, but I like it.

I need somebody kind of help build this promotion as well long term going forward. So I need somebody like Carmelo Hayes coming back at number eight, and uh, I need somebody that can kind of bounce back and forth with baby Face and Eels. So I'm gonna go with Finn Ballance. I thought you're gonna say the Big Show. Yeah, he said my list of commentators as that count. Okay, yeah, yeah, absolutely all right, So Carmelo and Finn go on seven eight for Doctor Trey back to me here for eight and nine. I am gonna go with Drew McIntire are at number eighth, and I am gonna go with aj Styles at number nine. That was on my shortness for so U for my number nine, I need that locker room veteran presence to kind of make everybody fall in line. I'm gonna take Randy Orc. I love it, dying there. You gotta love that pick. And then then you round out your initial roster, your Doctor Trey. Yeah, and I'm and I'm torn because there's one guy that I love that we talked about off air. But then I also need you know, I'm leaving off so many talented people if I do that. So just because I need a jack of all trades,

It was Claudio, Brian Anson, and Josh Alexander because you know much I love Josh Alexander, and I just went Claudio because I'm like, he's a little bit younger. That was pretty much my only thought process on it, all right, So here we go. I took at sixty, I took Drew mcutyar at seventeen, I took AJ styles at eighteen, Doctor Trey took Randy Orton at nineteen he took Claudiocastagnoli. 18:45 I feel pretty good. Um, I like my blend of different styles. And then one of things I kind of focus on is I wanted guys that can work babyface and heel. So I mean almost everybody here has been pretty top not. You have both things. I liked having a couple of my younger guys. I got some veterans, I got a good I think I got a good pretty good little a good mix here. I like your roster. Also started looking at it going day that's really good with like You're gonna have some fantastic iron Man matches out of this, Like I'm just looking like with Okada, Omega, Danielson, A J. J. White, I mean, you know, any one of those guys can put on a five star match with anybody else on your roster, so you have you probably have the better professional wrestlers where I might have had gone more of the sports entertainer side. Yeah, yeah, this is uh. I feel like looking at these rosters, this is like, I think this captures our personalities pretty well, quite honestly. That's what I was looking at too, him going damn, like I got some gothic guys, some loud talkers, some flamboyon people I'm bad at, Like I'm like, I'm all over the place online.

19:52 But yeah, I like guys that can cut a promo and can talk, and I think that was kind of my only guy on my rosters I think doesn't kind of great pro most Gaudio and he's gotten better as it's with. Aw. All right, doctor Trey. Now it's time to start with female wrestlers. I went first with the mail, so why don't you go next here? Oh right, well, I drafted her husband, so I'm gonna take Becky Lynch at number one. That makes a lot of sense. So Becky Lynch goes number one, so I get the next two picks. Um, I'm gonna go with Bianca Belair at number one, and number two, I'm gonna go with Ria Ripley. I knew it, like I said, it's like I think number one, like he's gonna go Beyonc. Like now I might have said he you might have gone Riya and then Bianc.

It's because I get torn and I just come down to what I know, what I like versus the unknown. So that's kind of where I was at with that. Um let's see. So I'm at seven, so I need eight and nine. She's an interesting himmick for sure. There was a period of time where they were actually pushing her and then she got lost with the shuffle. All right, So our female roster, Doctor Trey went with Becky Lynch first, I went with Bianca and really at Ria Ripley at two and three. At four and five, Doctor Trey went doctor Burt Baker and Bailey. At six and seven, I went Charlotte Flare in Oscar. At eight and nine, Doctor Trey went Alexa Bliss and Mercedes Money. At ten and eleven, I went with Ronda and Shana. At twelve and thirteen, Doctree went Ruby Soho and Shotzi. At fourteen and fifteen, I went with Jamie Hayter and Jade Cargill. At sixteen and seventeen, Doctrey with Raquel Gonzalza Tony Storm, and at eighteen and nineteen I went with Live Morgan, Neo Sky and Doctor Trey rounded out the round at number twenty with Tiffany stret So full Ross. Sure, I have Bianca bel Air, Riha, Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Osca, Ronda Rousey, Shanna Basler, Jamie Hayter, Jade Cardgill, Live Morgan, Eo Sky, doctre, Is Becky Lynch, Doctor Britt Baker, Bailey, Alexa Bliss, Mercedes Money, Ruby Soho, Shotzi, Rackel Gonzalez, Tony Storm, and Tiffany Stratton. So it does kind of come down to and I know, like with you, like I know you're a big Eo Sky fan, and it's like, well, I mean took Eo Sky over Thunder Rosa or Mercedes Martinez. You know, it's like you were rightly yelling at us right now, like hey, your draft. It's just like you know any others professional NFL baseball, you fall in love with certain prospects, you fall in love with certain draft analytics. Here's like, I just I know this person could do more than maybe what they've been doing. So I think, you know, I think you kind of got the upper hand on me on the women's around them, Larcas, You've got Bianca, Charlotte, Ria and Oscar I mean that right, and Ran and Shane like right there, you can build an entire divisions around those six right there. All right, doctor Trey, let's get two tag teams now, so the tagtoon division will do five rounds here for the tag teams. Um, doctor Trey went first with the female so now I will go first with the tag teams. And um, this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. So I'm gonna go with the aw Tag Team Champions FTR, Dax Hardwood, and uh dat, I almost call them Dash Wilder Cash Cash Wheeler. Wow. Yeah, I love Pat McAfee, but you know it, I think for me, it's not a very popular pick. I mean I went with the pay per view team for to That's just how how it shakes out. But Michael Cole has been really good lately if you like the last three years and really since Vince left, and you kind of feel like they just gave him like okay, you handle the commentary teams, that's it.

But even for a while, like on JR calls, they would always like if they had somebody that from the JR era, they'd always try to find a Michael Cole version of that call. And literally this past weekend, like I heard them use Tom Phillips, you know clips. I heard them use a JR clip.

Baby Face and Heel can cut good promos, maybe not always the best in ring workers, but at least can you know, tell a story and you know, still do some of the skits backstage and you know, different things like that. You kind of like, I'm looking at your roster, like you literally picked like all just fantastic. I think Jade is the worst wrestler you picked as far as like actual in ring working. Maybe maybe Rhonda, but I mean I said she was green. I said she was green. But I looked at the money towards the end. I'm waiting for your pay per view when you put Rhonda and Jade in the ring going one on one. Um, that's your money match right there. What pick did I have where you were like your son of a bit, you stole my pick pretty deadly, like that was the like most audible okay, wow, because well, I mean if you look at my tag, if you look at my tax met points, I had the Russo's the New Day of the Young Bucks and I was like, man, I could slide pretty deadly right in with those guys and it'd be really good. And it came down to the acclaimed and pretty dead and I was

I mean I was going to take Kevin Owen's number second, because I mean he's literally like, Kevin and sam are the faces of this show for decades, so it kind of I was like, if he doesn't, he's I was like, but it's like, I think Jeff favors Sammy over Kevin, so maybe I get Kevin on the backside. I kept wanting to go back to Adam Cole like he was on my list, but then like when I'm because like when it came down to Claudia, like we've mentioned Claudio and like I mentioned Brian Is and in AJ styles, like Adam Cole was right there with it, but I already had similar style, Like if I already had Seth, I don't know if I need Adam Cole. It feels I was like a redundant see at that point. So I had to go kind of and something in a different vein than Adam Cole. I felt like if we did more rounds, right, we could have obviously picked that up. I mean some are a little bunch stretches, but I mean, I like, once again, if I'm looking at my list of one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, seven of my top eight listed on the WWB board were drafted, and then one two, three, four of the top five of my eight w board were drafted. Wow, wow, all right, I think this was a lot of fun man, I think this was fun.
