If your patient has a history of breast cancer 7 years prior, what clinical decisions need to be addressed prior to spinal manipulation techniques? Persons with cancer or with a history of cancer, frequently present to physical therapy with both cancer related and non-cancer related pain and impairments. Physical therapists often forego using modulates or physical agents in their rehabilitation plan of care in persons with a history of cancer due to a lack of knowledge. There are basic guidelines to help PTs make clinical decisions regarding modalities and patients.
