I was raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania near the Pocono mountains, where the outdoors sports of choice were/are skiing & whitetail deer hunting. I was a former college baseball player in the 1980"s. Every spring my team would travel to Florida for training. One year after spending 3 weeks in sunny 70 degree weather I decided I wanted to move to Florida permanently. I made that happen in 1993 when I opened a small business in the Florida Panhandle on the Gulf Coast. Here is where I began to regularly indulge in my passion for deep sea fishing. After spending 15 years chasing the ocean’s biggest fish I had accumulated a collection of stories I thought people would enjoy & that's how my book A Flicker in the Water was born. I hope readers whether they are experienced seaman or landlubbers could take something away from the book. As well as kids beginning at about age 7 on up. I will probably be releasing another book or two in the next few years.
