55-year-old, Henderson County Rescue Squad Captain & National Cave Rescue Commission Deputy Sub Regional Coordinator for the Eastern Region, Kimberly Lughart is an Instructor for Wilderness EMS & EMT at Blue Ridge Comm College. The 15-year veteran expert Caver is active within her community, teaching Cave Rescue Awareness for the Rescue Squad & leading field trips for youth. She holds technical S&R certifications in Mountain, Confined Space, Swiftwater/Surface Water, Trench, Ice, Tower & Hazmat.
