Mountaineering in Bosnia

Bosnian hiker, ski tourist, high-altitude mountaineer, rock climber, and alpinist, Aida Starčević comes from Bugojno, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo. In 2014, Aida was named B&H’s most successful female alpinist by the Sarajevo School of Mountaineering, becoming the first woman in the history of alpinism there to climb the Pallavicini route. And, once again in 2020, by the Mountaineering Association of B&H for her ascent of Aconcagua, coincidentally, setting the female altitude record there.
