Interview with Steve Piragis

Wilderness paddler, biologist, and owner of Piragis Outfitters, Steve Piragis talks about the early days (in the mid 1970's) when he and his wife Nancy first came to Ely, MN to work for the US EPA. Steve also shares some stories about a few of the interesting events, including a couple of dramatic situations, that have occurred while paddling abroad, and also on his trips in the BWCA.
