Ellen Falterman, more affectionately known as “Ellen Magellan,” will embark on an epic adventure that involves more than 40,000 miles of rowing around the world, in an ocean rowboat. The trip is estimated to take over 6 years to complete, beginning in October of this year. We meet up with Ellen at her residence in Louisiana, to take a first-hand look at this unique vessel, as Ellen explains each of its essential components, the functions thereof, and the emergency back-up systems in place.
