On this episode of the Steel City Nation podcast my co-host Kevin Watson and I will interview Chris Carter. Carter was born and raised in Pittsburgh and works as an analyst for DK Pittsburgh Sports covering the Pittsburgh Steelers and the NFL and most recently University of Pittsburgh Football and basketball. Chris’s career began analyzing the Steelers as a contributor and later a contributing editor for BehindTheSteelCurtain.com in 2013. He is currently the host of Locked on Steelers podcast. Chris earned a juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and practices law along with his sports reporting. Though he never studied journalism in his academic career, he always had a passion for Pittsburgh sports and the coverage of the local teams. Chris spends a great deal of his time volunteering in the Pittsburgh area when he is not practicing law or covering football.
We will discuss with Chris the 2020 Pittsburgh Steelers outlook. Just how things have shaped up in camp and how the team has responded to the return of Ben Roethlisberger. Whether he thinks the defense can take the next step in returning to the playoffs after a two year hiatus. Who his sleeper players are on offense and defense and what free agents he thinks are going to be playing for a contract with so many key contributors up after this season.
