The Wisdom of NFL Analyst Solomon WIlcots

This week on the Steel City Nation podcast we'll be interviewing Solomon Wilcots.  Former NFL defensive back, Solomon Wilcots has served in many roles across the landscape of broadcast television and radio including studio host, anchor, analyst and reporter. He also has served as a live game analyst, sideline reporter, and field reporter for major sporting events such as Super Bowls 41,44, and 47 and the NCAA Division I Men 's Basketball Championship, PGA U.S. Open , Western Conference and NBA Finals and MLB games for cable. Solomon served as a Studio Analyst, reporter and contributor for the NFL Network.  Joining the network at its inception in 2003, through 2016.Contributing as well as hosting various shows. Solomon is co-host of Sirius Satellite Radio's daily NFL show ''The Opening Drive" with Bob Papa and on 'The Sirius Blitz".   Solomon played six seasons in the NFL four seasons with the Bengals, 1 with Minnesota and 1 with Pittsburgh. He was drafted in the 8th round out of Colorado in 1987 where he was a journalism major. Solomon is currently employed by Sky Sports Broadcasting in the U.K where he serves as a NFL Analyst on their weekly PreGame show teaching American football to the fan base in the U.K. Add to all of his accomplishments that  Wilcots is currently the Team Leader for the Sports-Health Division of a New York based Public Relations firm, Russo Partners LLC. He actively has contributed to the  "Huddle Up For New Alzheimer's Treatments" He currently serves as Project Manager for Aethlon Medical who recently launched its Clinical Study to test for the TauSome Biomarker which could lead to the detection of CTE in living patients. 

We will discuss with Solomon his career spanning since the 1990’s in sports broadcasting and journalism. His experience working abroad and educating U.K. fans on the game of AMerican Football. How he got involved in the medical part of his career. Solomon will go around the league for us and talk about he  sees the 2020 NFL season playing out. For our Decade Definers Solomon will talk about the 4 most memorable sporting events he was part of.
