Keeping the Pat Tillman spirit Alive with CEO of the Pat Tillman Foundation Dan Futrell

Our guest this week on the Original Sports podcast with Mark Maradei is Dan Futrell. Futrell, a 2011 Tillman Scholar, brings more than 15 years of cross-sector experience to the Pat Tillman Foundation. Upon graduating from Gonzaga University’s ROTC program, Dan served five years as a Ranger-qualified Infantry Officer as a platoon leader, company commander, and aide-de-camp. His most notable deployment was for 15 months with 3-2 Stryker Brigade in 2006-07, where he was awarded the Combat Infantryman’s Badge.

We will talk with Dan about his role as CEO of the Pat Tillman Foundation, about the mission  of and who benefits most from the foundation along with his vision of future growth of the foundation. For our “We just gotta know” segment we will ask Dan who has been instrumental in the growth of the Pat Tillman Foundation.
