I love the retail insight that Anne and Chris bring to each weeks stories. The promos at the beginning have grown out of control. I now just fast forward to about the seven minute mark to actually get to the stories.

My absolute favorite, go-to retail podcast

Best retail news for retailers
I’ve been a marketing executive in retail for over 20 years. I am as you would expect cynical, skeptical, and grizzled as a result. I read everything about retail. This does not make me popular at cocktail parties, but pretty smart about retail. And yet literally every week I learn something new from you two. I don’t always agree but I always love the perspective. I just sent out your podcast to all the exes at my company and marked it required reading.

A fun way to get the latest Retail News!
We serve large retail clients in the recruiting space and it’s important to stay up to date on the industry as a whole to serve them well. Before I found OmniTalk’s Fast Five, we spent a lot of time reading (far less fun) retail newsletters. Thanks to Chris and Anne for keeping it real and engaging while giving us the latest. Was straightened out by new A&M employee
Sitting around the Kellogg school of management dinner table we were discussing our favorite podcasts and I mentioned OmniTalk! then I went on to discuss how I didn’t know A&M university was a big school for retail - boy was I wrong. My friend Dillon R who will be starting a new job at A&M consulting straightened me out. How embarrassing 🤣 All good though shout out to A&M, Chris and Anne for making an amazing informative fun podcast and congrats to Dillon R for starting his new retail consulting job!

Ah, the good ol’ days!
Feels like it was just yesterday (alas it was 20 years ago!) that Chris was my boss at Gap. Few of us are fortunate enough to kick off our careers with that kind of mentorship that teeters somewhere between genius and bat-s*** crazy. Even fewer are fortunate enough to get a weekly dose of those amazing days back in the form of a podcast. Anne is brilliant and the two of them have made my weekly trip down memory lane more than just entertaining nostalgia. They educate and inspire and I’m grateful for it! I do think they need some sort of uncensored format though - Chris’s rants back then were legendary works of art.

Keeping up with the bigwigs!
I am new to my career, working in category management for a large CPG. Listening to the fast five weekly helps me to stay in touch with what’s happening in the world of our customers. It’s given me the confidence to speak up in meetings - and sound intelligent while I do it. Thanks Chris & Ann for helping me find perspective in the future of retailing!

Your best friends in the retail industry
My preference is to watch Chris and Anne on video to watch see their joyful interaction and witty repartee. It is infectious. I love their direct thoughts and retail expertise. Chris’ rants on Instacart are my favorite. It is fun to watch and challenge your thinking. A must listen.

Informative, witty and interesting retail information about Omni channel strategy. I appreciate their creation of new and interesting topics in a fast moving news cycle. They’re able to contribute information to the stories that tie it all together. Definitely in my podcast rotation!

Omni Talk is the most forward looking insight into the retail industry that exists.
They cover the latest and greatest trends without being afraid to offer pointed critique. One thing is for certain, we will be looking back years from now to see early Omni Talk interviews of the leaders of the retail industry.
