All right, Patriots, I want you to pay very close attention to this story because this just happened yesterday, December 23rd, and it's one of the biggest wins for parental rights we've seen in a long time. U.S. District Court Judge Roger Benitez just issued a permanent injunction

blocking California from forcing teachers to lie to parents about their kids' gender transitions. Let me say that again. A federal judge had to step in and tell the state of California that teachers shouldn't be required to deceive parents about their own children. Just think about that. We actually needed a federal court to establish that parents have a right to know what's happening with their kids at school. That's where we are.

in 2025 folks. So let me walk you through how we got here because the story is pretty important. Back in July 2024, Governor Gavin Newsom signed a law AB 1955. And what this law said was basically this. If a student at a school decides they want to go by a different name, use different pronouns or socially transition to the opposite sex, teachers have to go along with it.

But here's the kicker, they cannot tell the parents. They have to actively hide it from mom and dad. Now you might be asking yourself, how is that even legal? Great question. Turns out, it's not. Two Christian teachers, Elizabeth Marabelli and Lori West said, absolutely not. They refused to deceive parents. They said their religious beliefs wouldn't allow them to lie to families about something this significant.

So they sued. The case is called Mirabelli v. Olson. And here's what makes this even bigger. Judge Benitez certified it as a class action lawsuit. That means it doesn't just apply to these two teachers. It covers all California parents and all California teachers who object to these policies. And yesterday, the judge dropped the hammer. Parental exclusion policies, that's what they are calling them by the way, which is some real Orwellian language right there, are unconstitutional. They violate the First Amendment and they violate the Fourteenth Amendment. Let me read you something the judge wrote in his ruling because I think this is so important. He said, the difficult and long lasting issues of gender nonconformity leave parents to suffer adverse consequences over a lifetime.

They have to include this exact statement and I'm quoting directly from the order.
