Hey, what is going on, Patriots? And happy Friday. Glad to have every single one of you. I hope everyone stays safe this weekend. Roughly 200 million Americans are in this storm's path, including myself. So here we are expecting a lot of sleet and ice. As a heads up, if I don't have power come Monday or maybe even Tuesday, I cannot record this show. So if you don't see a new episode, that's why. Stay safe and warm out there, Patriots. Well.

00:38
If this is your first time here, this is O'Connor's Quick Strike and I'm John O'Connor. Three stories the legacy media won't cover or will completely twist beyond recognition, delivered in roughly 20 minutes. No fluff, no BS, no filler. Just the unvarnished truth peppered with my own take on what's really going on. And if you're listening on YouTube, just go ahead and click that subscribe button before you forget. I'm continuing to grow on that platform and each subscription tells the YouTube algorithm to push this channel to more like-minded patriots.

01:08
So, thank you in advance. Now today is Friday, January 23rd, and I've got three stories that'll show you exactly where we are right now. We are starting with former Special Counsel Jack Smith testifying before Congress yesterday. And this guy doubled down on his failed prosecutions claiming he had enough evidence to convict Trump while Jim Jordan exposed the FBI raiding Perrin Trump's bedroom. Then we're diving into Minnesota.

01:35
where the federal government and governor walls are in an all-out war. DOJ subpoenaed him, he tried to block all ICE operations, and JD Vance flew in to clean up the mess. And we're closing with something wild from Venezuela. New details about the Maduro raid, revealing US forces may have used a mysterious sonic weapon that left defenders bleeding, vomiting blood, and unable to move. Now, the technology exists.

02:04
The message to Latin America? Don't mess with the United States. Let's get into it. On Thursday, January 22nd, former special counsel Jack Smith sat before the House Judiciary Committee for his first public testimony about his prosecutions of President Trump. And patriots, this man has zero self-awareness. His cases failed. Trump won the election. Judge Aline Cannon ruled his appointment was illegal.

02:32
The American people rejected his lawfare. And yet, there he was, sitting before Congress telling them he had enough evidence to convict Trump, that Trump broke the law, that Trump caused January 6th. Here's what Smith actually said. Donald Trump is the person who caused January 6th, that it was foreseeable to him and that he sought to exploit the violence. Think about that for a second. The man whose prosecutions were thrown out

03:02
is still claiming he was right, still claiming Trump is a criminal, still defending raids on Mar-a-Lago where FBI agents searched a 16-year-old Baron Trump's bedroom. And here's the thing, Jim Jordan exposed this during the hearing. Jordan revealed that the FBI ran the Mar-a-Lago raid out of the D.C. office instead of Miami. Why does that matter? Because it shows this was political from the start. They didn't follow normal procedures.

03:30
They rejected recommendations to notify Trump's lawyers before executing the search. They didn't want cooperation, they wanted a raid. They wanted the optics of FBI agents storming a former president's home. But it gets better. Trump was watching the testimony live and he was posting on Truth Social during the hearing. Trump called Smith a deranged animal who shouldn't be allowed to practice law. He said Smith was being

03:59
decimated before Congress. And then Trump said this, based on his testimony today, there is no question that deranged Jack Smith should be prosecuted for his actions. The hunter becoming the hunted. Now, Democrats on the committee, they treated Smith like a hero. Jamie Raskin said Smith did everything right and had the audacity to do your job. Like going through a 16 year old boy's bedroom is doing your job. But

04:29
Republicans weren't buying it. Darrell Issa from California asked Smith point blank, you went after your political enemies. Maybe they are not your political enemies, but they sure as hell were Joe Biden's political enemies, weren't they? Smith tried to defend himself. He said he wouldn't be intimidated by Trump's threats. He claimed his investigation was about holding people accountable, that he followed the facts and followed the law. But

04:57
Here's what the legacy media won't tell you. Smith wanted to put Trump on trial five months after indicting him. In January 2024, right in the middle of the primary season, that would have required Trump's legal team to review 13 million pages of documents and thousands of hours of video in five months. That's over 100,000 pages per day. You know what that is? Election interference, pure and simple.

05:27
get Trump convicted before the voters could reject this entire charade. Republican Congressman Bob Onder from Missouri nailed Smith on this. He asked why the rush to trial. Smith's answer, the public has a right to a speedy trial. Since when does the prosecutor get to demand a speedy trial? That's a defendant's right, not the government's. But that's the arrogance we are dealing with.

05:54
Jack Smith still thinks he was right, still thinks Trump is guilty, still believes his lawfare was justified. And you want to know the scariest part? Smith warned Americans not to take the rule of law for granted. The audacity. The man who weaponized the justice system against a political opponent is warning us about the rule of law. Here's my question for you. Do you think Jack Smith will face consequences for what he did?

06:22
Or is he untouchable because he went after Trump? Because if we don't hold people like Smith accountable, this will happen again. The next time a Democrat is in power, they'll do the same thing. Find a prosecutor, find a friendly judge, indict the opposition. That's not justice. That's Banana Republic stuff. But at least now we know where Jack Smith stands. He's still defending the indefensible. And Trump is calling for him to be prosecuted. The tables are turning, Patriots.

06:52
And maybe, just maybe, Jack Smith is about to find out what accountability looks like. Two. All right, next story. And this one's a war that's been building for weeks. The federal government versus Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry. And patriots, this one's getting ugly. Here's the background. Minnesota has been ground zero for one of the biggest fraud scandals in American history.

07:20
We are talking $9 billion stolen from programs meant to feed hungry children and house disabled seniors. Money that went to Somali fraud rings, money that got laundered to East Africa and China, money that somehow ended up in Democrat campaign coffers. And the whole time, Walls and Ellison did nothing to stop it. Well, the Trump administration has had enough.

07:45
The Justice Department subpoenaed Walls, Ellison and Frye on Monday, January 20th. They want documents, communications, everything related to this fraud. But Minnesota isn't cooperating. In fact, they are fighting back. Minnesota filed a lawsuit trying to halt all ICE operations in the state. They argued that federal immigration enforcement exceeds federal authority and violates the First and Tenth Amendments. A state is trying to stop

08:15
federal law enforcement from doing their jobs. The DOJ fired back Monday night with a blistering response. They called Minnesota's request an unprecedented injunction against a federal law enforcement operation. And they are right. If Minnesota wins, it means any state can just veto federal law enforcement. Don't like what the FBI is doing? Sue to stop them. Don't like ICE deporting illegal immigrants? Get a judge to block them. That's not federalism, that's anarchy.

08:44
But here's where it gets interesting. Vice President J.D. Vance flew to Minneapolis on Thursday, January 22nd, the same day Jack Smith was testifying in D.C. Vance met with local officials and he came out saying he's optimistic that there will be a better cooperation between federal, state, and local authorities. Translation, Walls and Ellison are backing down because they know what's coming. The Treasury Department created a special IRS task force

09:14
specifically for Minnesota. They are requiring every financial institution in Hennepin and Ramsey counties to report overseas transfers of $3,000 or more. They are investigating four Twin Cities businesses, and Attorney General Pam Bondi is sending a team of prosecutors to Minnesota. This is the federal government bringing the full weight of its power to bear on Minnesota fraud. And Walls? He invited Trump to Minnesota to

09:43
Restore common order. Can you believe that the guy who's been obstructing federal law enforcement is now inviting Trump to come help? That's called panic because Walls knows the money trail is going to lead right back to him Right back to Ellison right back to the Democrats who took campaign donations from these fraudsters Here's what I want to know if these fraud if this fraud has been going on for years Why didn't Walls and Ellison stop it were they incompetent or were they complicit?

10:13
Because when you take campaign money from people who are stealing billions in taxpayer dollars, that's not incompetence, that's corruption. And now the Theds are coming. Treasury Secretary Scott Besson is on the record saying, when the bear trap snaps, we are going to get these folks. The bear trap is about to snap. And a lot of people in Minnesota are about to find out what accountability looks like. Trump's not playing games here.

10:41
He's considering sending 1,500 troops to Minneapolis if things escalate. He's talking about invoking the Insurrection Act if Walls continues obstructing federal officers. This is what happens when you obstruct federal law enforcement, when you protect fraudsters, when you put politics above the rule of law. Minnesota is about to learn that lesson the hard way. One. All right, final story. And this one is wild and fascinating.

11:09
Remember the January 3rd raid in Venezuela, where US special forces captured Nicolas Maduro in the middle of the night? 200 American operators dropped into Caracas, grabbed a dictator, flew him to New York to face drug trafficking charges? We are learning more about what actually happened that night, and it's like something out of a science fiction movie. On January 10th, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt shared a first-hand account from a Venezuelan security guard who was there.

11:39
defending Maduro's compound. And what he described? Chilling. We were on guard, but suddenly all our radar systems shut down without any explanation, the guard said. The next thing we saw were drones, a lot of drones, flying over our positions. We didn't know how to react. Then American forces landed, about 20 troops from eight helicopters. They were technologically very advanced, the guard said.

12:06
They didn't look like anything we fought before. But here's where it gets really interesting. US forces fired with extreme speed and accuracy. Venezuelan defenders had no chance. But then something else happened. At one point they launched something. I don't know how to describe it, the guard said. It was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt like my head was exploding from the inside. We all started bleeding from the nose.

12:36
Some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move. We couldn't even stand up after that sonic weapon or whatever it was. Now, is this account verified? No. The White House hasn't officially confirmed what weapon was used. But here's what we do know. This technology exists. The US military has been developing non-lethal sound weapons for nearly three decades. The most well-known device is called a long-range acoustic device, an LRAD.

13:06
Think of it like a megaphone that focuses all its audio in a very tight cone. Former Marine Corps Colonel Mark Kansian, now at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, described it perfectly. It sounds like the voice of God. It is very loud. U.S. forces used LRADs in Iraq for crowd control. They reach 140 decibels. A jet engine at takeoff, about 120 decibels. But here's the thing.

13:35
The effects described by that Venezuelan guard go way beyond what publicly known LRADS are supposed to do. LRADS cause pain, disorientation, even ruptured eardrums. But bleeding from the nose, vomiting blood? That's not a typical reaction. Which raises the question, does the US military have something more advanced than what we know publicly? Brent Sadler.

14:01
Senior Research Fellow at the Heritage Foundation who focuses on advanced military technology says sound as a non-lethal weapon is credible and has been demonstrated. He also said that non-lethal sound weapons have matured a lot over the years, but they haven't really been deployed at scale. So special forces using this in Venezuela, significant. Think about the tactical advantage. You've got 200 operators dropping into the heart of Caracas.

14:31
a city of three million. Maduro's compound is heavily defended. Venezuelan forces, Cuban security, probably Russian advisors. You need to grab one man, get in, get him, get out, without massive casualties. A weapon that incapacitates defenders without killing them, that buys your operator seconds, critical seconds to neutralize threats and complete the mission. And according to that Venezuelan guard, it worked.

15:00
We had no way to compete with their technology, with their weapons," he said. I swear, I've never seen anything like it. The guard ended with a warning echoing across Latin America. I'm sending a warning to anyone who thinks they can fight the United States. They have no idea what they are capable of. After what I saw, I never want to be on the other side of that again. Now, could this be exaggerated? Sure. Could Venezuelan forces be saving face? Absolutely plausible.

15:30
But here's what we know is true. US special forces did drop into Caracas in the middle of the night. They did shut down radar with cyber attacks. They did deploy drones. Trump himself said it was dark. The lights of Caracas were largely turned off due to a certain expertise that we have. They did capture Maduro. About 75 to 100 Venezuelan forces killed. 32 Cuban officers dead. Seven American service members wounded.

16:00
but zero killed. The entire operation, wheels up to wheels down, took less than three hours. That's not normal warfare. That's technological superiority, so vast that even our adversaries are warning each other not to mess with us. And whether that Venezuelan Guard's account is 100 % accurate or not, the message has been sent. From Caracas to Mexico City to Havana, everyone got the memo.

16:28
Don't tread on Uncle Sam. Because we've got capabilities you can't even imagine. So there you have it, Patriots. Three stories showing exactly what's happening right now. Story one. Jack Smith testified Thursday and doubled down on everything. Claims he had enough evidence to convict Trump. Jim Jordan exposed how the FBI raided Barron's bedroom and ran the entire Mar-a-Lago operation out of D.C. instead of Miami. Trump watched live, called him a...

16:57
Deranged animal. Democrats treated Smith like a hero. He wanted to force Trump to trial just five months after indictment. 100,000 pages per day for the defense. Pure election interference with zero accountability. Story two. DOJ subpoenaed Walls, Ellison and Frye on Monday over $9 billion in fraud. Minnesota fought back, tried to halt ICE operations statewide. DOJ called it unprecedented. Then JD Vance flew to Minneapolis Thursday.

17:27
Suddenly, Walls was backing down, inviting Trump to restore calm. Treasury deployed a special IRS task force, bond descending prosecutors. The money trail leads straight back to Democrats who took campaign cash from the fraudsters. Story three. Venezuelan guard says US forces used a sonic weapon during the Maduro capture. Defenders bleeding from their noses, vomiting blood, unable to move. Caroline Levitt shared the account.

17:56
The technology exists, LRADs that reach 140 decibels, but the guard's description goes way beyond publicly known capabilities. Result, 200 operators grabbed Maduro in under three hours with zero American deaths. 75 to 100 Venezuelan forces killed, 32 Cubans dead. Message sent across Latin America. We have capabilities you can't even imagine. The pattern is clear. Prosecute Trump, get rejected.

18:26
Obstruct ICE? Get subpoenaed. Mess with America? Meet technology you've never seen. Well, this is O'Connor's Quick Strike and I'm John O'Connor. I will hopefully see you on Monday. Stay safe and warm. Continue to hold the line, Patriots.
