Last Tuesday, November 19th, five members of a North Texas Antifa cell walked into a federal courtroom in Fort Worth.

and pleaded guilty to terrorism charges. This is the first time in American history that Antifa members have been convicted as terrorists in federal court. For years, the left told us Antifa was just an idea. Joe Biden said it from the debate stage. The media repeated it over and over. Jerry Nadler called it a myth. And now, five Antifa terrorists

have admitted under oath that they provided material support to terrorists and they face up to 15 years in federal prison. Here's what happened. On July 4th of this year, these five, Nathan Balman, Seth Sykes, Joy Gibson, John Thomas, and Lynette Sharp participated in a coordinated ambush on the Ice Prairie Land Detention Facility in Alvarado, Texas. This wasn't a protest. This was a planned

military-style assault on a federal facility. The attackers showed up dressed in black military gear, wearing body armor, carrying AR-style rifles, and equipped with two-way radios. They shot fireworks at the facility. When a police officer responded to the 911 call, one terrorist, positioned in nearby woods, shot that officer in the neck. Another opened fire on unarmed correctional officers firing about 20 to 30 rounds.

When law enforcement searched the scene, they found AR-style rifles and 12 sets of body armor from the vehicles, the terrorists themselves, and the area around the detention center. Now, here's where it gets important. As part of their guilty pleas, these terrorists had to agree to stipulated facts, they formally acknowledge as true. And what did they admit? They admitted they planned with others to provide resources and personnel

knowing and intending that they would be used to carry out acts of terrorism. But here's the bombshell. One stipulated fact reads, Antifa is a militant enterprise that advocates insurrection and violence to affect the policy and conduct of the US government by intimidation and coercion. These defendants agreed to that statement.

The FBI and federal prosecutors now have legal precedent that Antifa is an organized domestic terrorist network. During the plea hearing, US magistrate Judge Jeffrey Curtin asked if they had ailments preventing them from understanding the proceedings. Two claimed depression, one claimed bipolar disorder, two claimed ADHD. The judge found them competent and accepted their guilty pleas. These five will be sentenced on March 12th.

Each faces up to 15 years in federal prison. But it doesn't end there. Just days before these five pleaded guilty, a federal grand jury indicted nine additional North Texas Antifa cell operatives. Seven more were charged for related offenses, including attempted murder of federal officers. Acting U.S. Attorney Nancy E. Larson said, this is the first indictment in the country against a group of violent Antifa cell members.

The charges address the vicious attack perpetrated by an anti-ICE, anti-law enforcement, anti-government anarchist group. I applaud the tenacious work of the FBI, ICE, and our partners. She's accused of stealing $5 million in FEMA disaster relief funds and then funneling that money into her congressional campaign. She faces up to 53 years in federal prison. Here's the scheme, according to prosecutors. In 2021, Sheila and her brother Edwin worked on a staffing contract funded by FEMA for COVID-19 vaccinations.

The contract had ties to her family company, Trinity Healthcare Services. This is FEMA money, federal disaster relief funds meant to help Americans during a pandemic. But prosecutors say a substantial portion of those funds were distributed to her friends and relatives, who then donated to her 2022 congressional campaign. Let me break this down. She took FEMA money, your tax dollars meant for pandemic relief.

She gave it to friends and family. They then donated it to her campaign. That's money laundering. Sheila won a special election back in 2022 to a vacant Democratic seat with 72.3 % of the vote. conspiracy and campaign finance violations. If convicted on all counts, again, she's looking at more than 50 years in prison. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries announced she had resigned from her leadership position on a House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee while the matter is ongoing. But he's not calling for her to resign from Congress. He's just hoping nobody pays attention. According to Democrat Caucus rules,

Any indicted lawmaker must step down from leadership positions. So Jeffries didn't have a choice. This is a pattern with Democrats. How many times have we seen them use disaster relief as a personal piggy bank? How many times have we seen them funnel taxpayer money to their cronies and campaigns? Remember, this is the same party that spent years accusing Trump of corruption while literally stealing FEMA money meant for pandemic relief. And here's the kicker.

Last week, a 2020 podcast clip resurfaced where Bain, who was one of the hosts, went on an absolute tirade about Nashville. And I mean she left it all out there. Here's what she said, and I quote, I have been heavily involved with the Nashville mayoral race because I hate the city. I hate the Bachelorettes. I hate the pedal taverns.

I hate country music. I hate all of the things that make Nashville, apparently, and its city to the rest of the country. But I hate it. Let me say that again. I hate the city. Those were her exact words. She's running to represent Nashville in Congress, and she openly admits she hates the city. But it gets better. She went on to mock the tourists who pump millions of dollars into the Nashville economy.

She said she's the girl at the airport rolling her eyes at the Bachelorettes in their matching pink shirts who are excited about visiting Nashville. She literally mocked people for being happy to visit the city she wants to represent. So let me get this straight. You hate the city. You hate the music industry that made Nashville famous. You hate the tourism that employs thousands of people. You hate the Bachelorettes who spend money at local businesses.

But you want Nashville voters to send you to Washington to represent them? Make it make sense to me, please. Now, this clip went viral last Wednesday and Thursday. Conservative media jumped all over it. The RNC posted it. Fox News covered it. And suddenly, Afton Ben had a problem on her hands with early voting already underway. So, what did she do? She made a response video on Thursday, November 21st, and folks...

This might be the worst political backpedaling I've ever seen. She starts the video by complaining about bags under her eyes because the Republican eye of Sauron has finally shifted towards me. Real professional. Then she claims, and I'm not making this up, she claims she had never said she hates Nashville, even though we have her on tape saying, I hate the city multiple times. Her defense, she says,

you are talking to someone who has cried no less than 10 times in the Country Music Hall of Fame. 10 times? She cried in the Country Music Hall of Fame 10 times? That's our proof she loves Nashville? I don't know a single person who's cried in the Country Music Hall of Fame even once, let alone 10 times. But sure, Afton, that totally erases you saying, hate the city on a podcast.

Oh, and she also claimed the Bachelorette comments were about the ABC reality show, The Bachelorette. Not actual Bachelorette parties. Which is hilarious because in the original clip she's clearly talking about tourists in matching shirts at the airport. Not a TV show. The woman is lying. She got caught saying what she really thinks and now she's scrambling. But here's the thing. This isn't the first time Ben has trashed Tennessee and its people.

Back in 2019, she wrote an op-ed for the Tennessean newspaper with the headline, Tennessee is a racist state and so is its legislator. In the piece she wrote, let me be clear, I'm quoting this, let me be clear, Tennessee is a racist state, racism is in the air we breathe, permeating the state capital, end quote. She also said in another interview that Southern sororities are a staple of white supremacy. So.

She thinks Tennessee is racist. She thinks Nashville is terrible. She hates country music. She hates the tourists. She hates the culture. But she wants you to vote for her to represent you in Congress. Yeah. Okay, this is progressive elitism at its finest. These people move into red states. They hate everything about the culture and the people. And then they run for office to fix us.

They look down on working class Americans. They mock our traditions and they lecture us about how backwards we are. And then they expect us to vote for them. Well, guess what? The voters in Tennessee's seventh district aren't buying it. Matt Van Epps, her Republican opponent has been endorsed by president Trump, Tennessee governor, Bill Lee, former Congressman Mark Green and Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan. He's a lieutenant colonel in the Tennessee army national guard.

He flew combat helicopter missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. He's a West Point graduate and he's not trying to fundamentally change Tennessee. He's trying to represent it. The 7th congressional district went for Trump by 22 points last year. Mark Green won it by 21 points. This is deep red territory. But Democrats are pouring money into the race because it's a special election and they think low turnout gives them a chance.
