Advent gives us the opportunity to prepare our hearts, spirits, souls and lives for the celebration of Christ's birth. If you are new to Advent, think of it as a time of preparation and renewal that ends in celebration of the birth of the Savior of the world (Advent is from Sunday, November 28 to Friday, December 24).
