About Vanessa Valcorba NP
Vanessa Valcorba, DNP, Total Joint Program Coordinator, began her academic journey at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She then furthered her medical expertise, earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, also from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Vanessa is a certified bariatric nurse and adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. In addition, she is fluent in both English and Portuguese.
Vanessa’s personal philosophy of care is rooted around compassion and empathy, and her goal is to always strive to provide holistic and quality care to each patient she encounters. It is very important to her to care for her patients as a whole, and not just the disease or condition in which they are seeking care for. When not at work, Vanessa enjoys traveling, readidng, powerlifting and spending rime with her family and friends.
