0:04 Hi, you love then too? Yes, that's true. Wow, crazy you. This is the pipe Man here on the Ventures pipe Man W four c Y Radio, and I'm here. With red Ska. I'm Johnny Stern, the guitar player. I'm Jamie the drummer. Chariot the vocalist. Isaac bursis nice here at Bloodstock. We are. We just played today. You did? We did? Oh man, if you couldn't. I don't interview bands that play here now. I mean our Camvin situation is like we're attending.

0:45 But well that's true. But it is a lot of fun out there, isn't it. He will play Gret. Let's so tell me about the performance a little bit because I was stuck in here. So we'll pass it around as we as we sometimes do. So the performance was amazing. We we always. Sorry the job. You're my assistant. The performance. The performance was amazing, not not I was playing, but like the experience. The stage crew absolutely amazing. The stage was great. We always do better than got a bigger stage, more room to move around. Yeah, it's just fantastic, but we've It's like in the British scene anyway. Playing Bloodstock is one of the pinnacles.

1:37 That blow your mind that you're here at Bloodstock and you had such a crowd for your set. Yes, yeah, I'll pass it on to AAAC. I'm telling you, I'm taking it over because Johnny's. A nightmare and you, I can't believe you just elbowed him to take the mic away. So we started about a year ago. So so you get from there, from what practicing some little crack down to to play in bloodstockery there, it's been an absolute treat right well, father, guess blown away. This is exactly what we're working towards. But a lot of blood, sweat and tears with that. If you can't tell, we'll if you. If you wonder what we look like.

2:17 We're wearing very silly hats right now. Johnny looks like a princess. Well, to be fair, it is Sophie Lancaster Day and you have to wear pink. So perfect, Johnny, he's contributed. You nailed it, Johnny. You guys are contributing to you're all you all have pink on your your pink. One so we are crack. Johnny's doing binge jousting. Did you do it? Did you do them? Oh? I want to see that after the interview. But I do want I want whoever wants to talk about. I want you to describe this binge jousting thing at Bloodstock.

2:59 I saw it a pillow fight. Exactly what it's like. Don't you worry, I'll do it right. Bing jousting basically, yeah, exactly. You get two people on bins, you have a crew to push them, pushed them right at each other, and you have to get the other person off of their bin. Right. It's like jousting, but without the poles and still. The danger and no horse, no horse, yeah, no horses were harmed. Exactly, And basically you have a few options. I believe one of the best ones is the jump scare option, where you throw yourself at the person and give them no chance to defend themselves and you kill both years.

3:45 But as Isaac went for he grabbed Johnny by the by his buy his basically his underwear, launched him off, and as soon as he was off, he celebrated a bit as Mario and then gave him the people's here right right when he was down. A brilliant time. Yeah exactly, it's a brilliant time. People love it. It's late at night. You're just excited to do something, especially for a Thursday. It was brilliant. Well, I was watching the pillow fighting and that looked a lot of fun too. Man, I want to beat somebody up with a pillow. I mean, for us, you get to beat people up with inflatable sex dolls.

4:26 So oh ship, I missed that. Yeah I know, but I did marsh with dinosaurs the other day. Ah, yeah, so that was cool. Heavyrus, come on, get the name right? Yeah? Yeah, yeah. You were in sad and to mic so everybody can hear. I wanted to see heavy sourus, but our guitar player had the foresight of bringing a tent that isn't suitable for normal camping. It's a camper van tent that multiple people to put up. And the fact that we were squashed in like just last minute between these lovely Welsh people that we've had to camp with, but we clearly took up their communal area. Yeah, and I had to help him put it up because he kept swearing at the tent he needed.

5:18 More than one person. Well, yeah, you got to think these things out ahead of time. But I get you were too busy getting prepared for your set that you didn't keep in mind that you had to sleep too married. Well he was busy getting married. Yeah, week before, how I hear about this? Sorry? Sorry, So I got married last weekend. Congratulations and connolences at the same time. Well, thank you very much. Just king mother. Are you a fan of Halo at the game? Yeah? Yeah, yeah. Look my wedding ring is the Halo ring. Check that show buckles out fucking a. It was cheap in the gold one.

6:00 Well, there you go. That's the real reason right there. Cool, it's cool. Did you get that at the festival out here? No? No, I'm just kidding because you got married. You know, you're chilling with Tony from Venom, Yes, so Venom in Yes. Jim Claire, the original guitar player, was playing at my wedding last weekend. Wow, and me and him had a guitar battle. So I'm sending Tony that at somebody nice. Oh he's gonna come down me yet, but yeah, it's uh. Probably be on with Venomin soon, I think hopefully, Tony. If you're listening, yeah, you'll go on tour with them. That would be nice as well.

6:41 Right, Well, you know that's how you start your top blood Star. Yeah. I think we're in a bit of a lover's feud with Venom though, because we're mates with what's the other venom avad On? Yeah yeah, so we're mates to people from that band we met. Everyone seems nice, they just don't like each other. Yeah. Great, Jim's out of this. He's supposed the cover band. See, that's actually why I love over here. I find all the UK people fucking nice except the assholes, but everybody else is nice. Yeah. Yeah, everyone's love the andy. Yeah. Well we had a great time seeing everyone. Did anyone do some chatting Bay, I'm hugging Yeah, he's over there like six beers deep.

7:24 And how come you just have a normal hat on? I'm promoting the brand. Oh yeah, that's important. No, it's it's it's our abbreviated logo. So we're called red Scar and r SR is our sort of like abbreviate. It's trunk ad thing nice. And it's we can get that really cool s into it that everyone drew in school where you do the three lines on top, three lines on bottom and you connect them in the right way. Look at that, So how do they get o the listeners buy that hat? Off your merch store, get the hat? How did we get the hat? No? That you How does he get the listeners?

8:05 How they get listening to your merch store because they can't my show and let's say buy your merch. No, you know, at the minute, the hats are Shore merch only, but we are going to try and get them on the website. We do have a website. It's Red Scar. Official dot dot com. It's got a list of all of our upcoming two dates. He's got links to all the social media's things like that. We've we're in the works with the merch side of it because we got these really really nice quality caps and a new T shirt design that we're going to put up there as soon as we possibly can so then people can buy them. There's been a lovely showing of people. With Red Scar shirts on and caps who've come from previous game.

8:48 Yeah it's so cool. Yeah, And they played our. Our debut single consider Me Empty in the Serpents tent. Cool. So I just went around. Handing up business cards, being like you're like, what you're here, this is where you. Can find us. Nice, good job. Well that's how you ended up here. You were in here doing this. What's sneaking out your shorts? It's a it's a tattoo. Well, I knew it was a tattoo. It's I wasn't sure what it was till now it's I'm still not sure what it is, but it's a cool tattoo. It's it's an anthropomorphic pot from the game elden Ring.

9:33 It's under the warrior pot. Nice. I do have more tattoos on my legs. There's a woman with four breasts. Oh, so you're a little kinky, aren't you? Yeah, a little bit. So does the woman with four breasts? Is that Blowthar's girlfriend because he has four penises? Yeah, unfortunately not. It's it's it's from the the Warhammer universe. So that's one of the U Chaos gods. And they're like, yeah, that's definitely the excuse to tell everyone. But they they're like the the god of like excess and things like that, and I think it's very fitting.

10:14 Are you sure it wasn't that you were drunk and you had double vision. I don't drink. See, I've not even got that excuse. Perfect. Do you know about the record label that's here at Bloodstock that they have Well, not label, but their record store in Camden and they have an alcohol free bar. Yeah yeah, I've heard about that. It's fucking cool as ship. So you guys should play there, Yeah. We really should. We've got some gigs in the works for London. We're really busy after Bloodstock. We've got a couple of festivals. Yeah, We've got. Get Heavy fest Nights gets Head, which is like really celebrating like a lot of heavy met usic in the northeast of England. We've got Tuck Stop which is in Nottingham.

11:04 We've got gigging Newcastle with the Clooney supporting a band called Death Rattle. We're also making our way to London as soon as we possibly can. We've got some stuff in the works. They've they've been like ear marks for dates. We're looking at October. We're going to try and get a set with with Thrasher Wolf because we love those guys. Redeemon yeah, who also played here. But yeah, we we're just we're filling up the books as much as we can to spread our Toledo Stealers. Well yeah, yeah. We just to spread our seed.

11:47 Does that have to do with the four Breasts? Yes, a little bit. My boyfriend has far Cox. Is it Blowthar? So that's cool you have all those gigs. Yeah, yeah, I won't be going to your Newcastle gig though, because my ex wife's from Newcastle. So it's it's best to avoid there. Yeah, yeah, totally. Apparently her sister has a hardcore punk band there, but I never met her, so I would know, and I don't know if I should step into that town. Yeah what jo is it?

12:28 Trillions? Won't keep it? We'll protect you, okay, good? Yeah, if you if you ever wrote Newcastle away, you've got four big lads will make sure the ex is kept away. There you go. I need my security because she gets a little batshit crazy. So but I mean from I understand, that's what that is a JORDI. Yeah, that's that's that's a jody thing. They call it being raj where where they're just completely off. Then note, oh she was completely one million percent off or not for sure. Considering the so we were considering the band name wife be you.

13:10 Not a good idea when they were making names. I wasn't here for when they were making names, right, so don't include me and that even though? Right? Yeah? Like, is he the mascot. Yeah. To be fair, the the the attire that we set out for today was divorced dads. I'm hitting it. I'm definitely a divorced dad, but I'm wearing pink. So yeah, Sophie Lancaster exactly. So, you guys fucking rock. You killed it here at Bloodstock. You guys are a lot of fun now. I can't wait until I see you like later on in the evening when you're even more fun. Okay, and you must be the designated, not driver, but the designated keep them all under control.

13:57 I wrangle the chimps and keep them in the cage. Yeah. Yeah. Makes you were to see us on the Ronnie James Deal stage next. Year headlining Lama God will be before you exactly exactly, and then they'll ask if they could go side stage and you're like, no, man, we don't have room. We'll shoot for soft next year. After that's all right, show feet show so so so yeah, yeah, nice, We're gonna try. We'll see, we'll. See where you go. Thanks a lot for being on the Adventures. And Man Pleasure, my friend, absolute pleasure.
