04 Hey, you love THEE two. That's sure, I'm coming on you see why Pio wake up of America. It's time for the Adventures. So pipe Man on w f CWY dot com. West pom Beats is number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the White Man. What cop This is the pipe Man here on the Adventures Pipeman w fort c Y Radio. And I'm here, whid Cameron. I'm grry from your radio. Nice and I love his shirt because I'm a total thrash metal head and my favorite drummer in the whole world. I hope you guys aren't drummers and a insulted you.
15 Good good good good. So yeah, the my favorite drummer in the world now plays with Testament, plays with the Original Misfits, plays in this other band forget the name right now, that played at Download with Biffy Siro, the singer Biffy cyro Yo. I and uh see, I'm American, I said, uh and he uh plays with mister Bungles. I saw him play at Download. I'm gonna see him at Riot fessenon States playing with mister Bungle. You know who I'm talking about, right. I was at the first Slayer show ever, and he was the first on to do double bass yeah, and he was just so insanely fast, like I played drums and I was like I could never do Yeah, it's a machine. And funny enough, when I slayers last ever show at Download twenty nineteen, funny enough, I missed her because I was too drunk, and I kicked myself to this day. I was sat on the hill listening to Jesus Saves and it was absolutely smashed. That's that's yeah. I used to hang out with them back in the day. Dude, they wouldn't remember me now, well, Dave might. It was funny. I was at a Slayer show and I was backstage and I was talking to his wife while they're a performing, and Tom comes off to stage and he walks up. He's the nicest guy in the
47 world and he just steps out his hands like, hey, my name's Tom Yeah, and I'm in my head, I'm like, yeah, I think I know who you are. Uh. There's very few times I fanboy out. That was probably one of them. And I knew him back in the day. I still was fanboying out. And then the another fan boy experience was I was interviewing Stone sour on the tour bus. I was interviewing Roy Majorga. I get off the tour bus and I'm sitting down on the curb smoke as Siagretine. This dude walks over to me starts talking to me, and I knew who it was, but I acted like I didn't, but the voice gave it away one hundred percent. And he's just talking to me about the weather in Georgia the night before at their show, and it was Corey, it was did you see this? So I'm good friends with Alicia Taylor, who is his wife, and I was interviewing her just a couple weeks ago or months ago, and she saw this and she's like, holy shit. She goes, is that bootlett? She's like, is that bootleg?
01 And I'm like, I don't know. My two daughters got it for me, So look at that. It's original, it's got the batsane rightly man. No, so this is my official festival hoodie. Yes, that's the one man. So let's tell our listeners about a little bit about your music. Not from a genre standpoint. Fuck that, because genre's just box artists into a box and then they all sound the same. Then, because you're all supposed to play the same shit. I like when I hear the artists explain their music to me, the best way to put it is but like energetic, driving and full of spunk. The best way to put love that though, it is where we have fun when we're on stage. We want to bring the party. Man. That's the main thing. Good vibe, it's you know you it was it was late heart and nice, and that's that's what we want to do. It's something you can drink a bit too and get in the pit, you know, and and not worried that you're gonna miss the show because you're too drunk. He's got me now, you know what too, And I go into pit a lot. One of my favorite pits nowadays, though, is like a scot pit for the same reason you're talking about. It's just just complete assholes. And that's very true.
32 You know. You got these big dudes that come in and pit that they're not really mel ahead. They just want to prove how tough they are. And I'm old school and I'm a little so I'm that dude that I'll come around. You won't even see me come in, and I'll come up like Mike Tyson with my elbow, you big motherfucker, And I'm gonna show you what the pits about lam exactly exactly. But scot pits are scar pits are just a good time. Yeah man, you saying that, it's what made me think about it made me think about being out there and just just to go lucky vibes. Man, where there? The party really an't we It says on what you know what bio. We're not following any trends.
17 We just do what we do. That's what it should be, you know. And it's it's a lot of reason just to create create a party. You're a break up in knoty. You know, there's some brilliant Bonds's not a lot of bonds that to do something different with that if your old school you're not, especially nowadays. Yeah, yeah, and we you know so many people want see ones like festival legas like it's a fresh yeah at all, you know, all the bonds with everyone's got their own thing in this way it should be because I find some band, especially in metal nowadays, which metal is never supposed to be that. Yeah, it's like they plug in this algebraic equation to make a formula for your music. They're not even thinking about it and they're not using their emotion and then they all sound exactly same like you take Testament, Exodus, Slayer, Metallica, and Thrash all thrash and don't sound anything. That's the way it should be. Yeah, have your own sound that we strow for it, do we. We?
19 We really do big songs. You probably don't realize. Yeah, you know, just great songs. They just got that fresh influence, just got sort of and thrash. Thrash was really just an attitude against hair metal and it was just basically but speed it up, make it a little heavier. Yeah, and that that's what I thought of something while you're talking, You guys need to go on tour with Andrew WK. Andrew WK. I love Andrew because you keep talking about that would be a cool show to Andrew wkright, come pick us up, you got you gotta bring him on tour with you.
11 Yeah, man, that would be a party. The party would never end, no doubt. So what are you guys doing after blood Stock? After blood Stock? We've got a Giggin's South End, which is Yeah, most of our gigs are kind of in East Angler at the minute. But that's our next step is trying to move out of East Anglier and do some of the biggest cities like like Birmingham, Manchester. We just want to get out there, that's the main thing. And I was going on a twelve with some of the buns and you know, I just want to keep pushing it, and you know it's the big thing with this. This is like such good exposure for us. I mean, let alone getting through doing the Metal to the Masses and stuff from winning it. But how amazing was that, by the way, dude slup madness when they actually said our name, I nearly done a backflip. I swept like go figure like yeah no, I mean it was such a tight competition this year. I wouldn't want to be one of the judges. So what if you're to give one story through that whole metal of the Metal of the Masses. Yeah, that you're gonna remember when you're like eighty, What would be It's got to be the Wall of Death. We we don't often get a wall of death a pub, but we managed to get one. It was it was beyond belief. I'm a big fan of the old pit myself, so to actually call for it and then they just do it. It was such a breath of fresh air.
43 That's beautiful, and you know what I mean, it's just like everyone's there. They're like headbutting each other, throwing you know what I mean, throwing each other into each other, but they're having fucking fun. That's such a beautiful thing covered in beer. People don't understand the pit that are not into metal. That sets all about hurting the naming people, but it's not. It's about fun togetherness, helping each other and getting that ship. Yeah, so you don't go out and somebody the wrong one. Hell yeah, man, I mean that's when you when you're in the bit, that's just you lose all kind of you just it just drops, don't it. You're just that's the pace to b that's and that's what we facilitate. So yeah, yeah, so tell everybody how they can connect you on socials on the web. Buy merch most importantly because I ain't ye show here the festival, which is nice. Yeah, it was surreal actually seeing our merch up there with like big bands, you know what I mean, that's it's crazy.
46 Yeah, You're like merch is right up there next to Megadeth. Now we're on We're on Spotify, We're on YouTube and stuff. We've got a band camp, so if anyone want to buy our stuff, we're on there where else. We've been handing out cards all weekend. QR code okay, so you can plug. I have an idea for you. Yeah, pull out, you have your phone with you, Pull out your phone for a second, sit somewhere and either your camera or QR code reader and hit that QR code on that bracelet right there there it is. I'll watch what comes up if you got any service in here, that's the problem. So so what comes up on it is my whole business card with every link, bio, everything of me all on that. And they have where you can get an Apple watch band for your phone so you'll see when you get service. So yeah, man, is there anything we need to tell the audience that we haven't covered already that you want them to know about you guys? Just keep an eye for us. Really, that's the main thing where we're popping up all over the place now. So give us a listen. We're on,
18 like I say, Spotify, YouTube, give us a listen. That's all I can really ask, you know, what I mean, the shof it's gotta be done. You hear that, Andrew, Like I said, man, we're just we're like chomping at the bit just to start doing more stuff I love. Yeah, that's all we can really ask listen and buy our shit. Yes, absolutely, and you guys rock chairs man. Yeah, that's the next step. Say it louder for the mike. We will be doing an album. We've got the epo at the minute in for the Kill.
58 We've got five tracks that five tracks on that. But that's all that, like I said, us on Spotify YouTube, give it a listen. But yeah, like I say, the next step is to write an album. I mean, we've got a lot of songs. We've got them all in the back pocket, you know what I mean. So it's got more and more of that shoulder. Yeah, we're looking to We've got a good friend Chris from Shrapnel. Yeah, he's he's doing a lot of like like video stuff. We're looking to possibly do something with him. Yeah, we we that's something we need and as a music video just a little yes you do yeah, I mean yeah, definitely video. Yeah, we can't wait to get the footage back and actually see what what was like. I mean, we've got like obviously my girlfriend she recorded most of it on on her phone, but that is nothing compared to what obviously we've had. Friends Collapse the Sky. They were the winners from East Anglia last year and they played and yeah, I mean like just coming there, it's crazy. Yeah, absolutely wrong. It was fuck older and everybody's going up. We didn't expect I love that. Yeah, half and half a crowd less or not, you know, and we were just blown away. I always love hearing that stuff. That's the great thing about festivals. Yeah, yeah, well that that was the thing. It was such a refreshing thing, like because you do want to see like as the set progresses, you do want to see less people. But as the set progress more people just started coming in and
31 we have people like looking from outside of the ten and it was when you're like, you're up there and you see that it's beautiful. Well no pun intended, but that's a testament to how badass you guys are, because they wouldn't do that if you weren't good musicians. Don't matter what. I'm really happy with the turn out and everyone's showing support. Man, it's been fucking surreal. Well, I would like to thank everybody who was supported us on this journey because it's being a journey and it's funny beginning. Yeah, I love it. We're on the first turn of the wheel, sir, you know what I mean. Let's keep going going, keep that wheel going. Ever Man, thanks for being here at Bloodstock, and thank you for being on the Adventures Pinate Man. Probably it's been good. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of Pate Man on W four CUI Radio.
