04 Hey, you have done to censure? Wow, pray you. Why come of America. It's time for the Adventures of Pipe Man. I'll you four C why dot com West pomp Beats is number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the pipe Man.

51 Order known you be ther switch play the sw shirt at my side, ready to cut. A pitch for me. And this is the pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe Man W four c y Radio. And I'm here with t X two. Nice you're at after shot. I don't know. I don't know if we should. We just said t X two. And this is Quirky over here. Yeah, I'm quirky high Quirky Cam. I play guitar. Hello, and you have the cool red hair? Yes I do. Is that your signature? Sure? Yeah, I mean this year it is. Mine's normally blue. But now I went to being normal a little bit. There's a difference. I need a break from all that fucking work of keeping it blue. It's a lot of work, right, It's too much work. And then when you go on tour, you gotta break your own pillowcase, your own towel, your own everything. You don't destroy everything everywhere exactly. So I took some time off from that heard, But it's good because it's sunny here today and i'd be bleeding blue.

49 Oh true? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm definitely bleeding red for sure. I fully believe it. We're How bad was it on stage with the sun were sweating? It wasn't too bad. I felt like there was like one spot that if you walked into it on stage, you were definitely burning alive. But other than that, we were a lot of us. We were in the shade mostly. Yeah. See, the good news is it's not like last week that Dave Slayer was supposed to play and Hurricane Helene stopped. Yeah, there was no rain in Blood because Hurricane Helene killed rain and Blood and you were there. I was there. Wow, how was it? It was pretty awesome except the fact that Slayer didn't play did that whole day. But I did get to see Slayer at riot Fest.

31 Nice. Are you guys stick around for Slayer tonight? Of course you have to write, I mean, it's fucking insane. If they're not gonna go your show now, I might as well go Slayer. I'm so stoked for them. Yeah, but yours is more important. Thanks. It was pre even with this heat and early in the day first day Thursday. It was pre crowded for you out there, wasn't it. Yeah? It was really were you there at this in the crowd. I'd like, tried to get there for a little bit. I saw hi, I'm like, oh cool, and I heard you a little bit and I had to run back a. Festival, you know. Yeah, you know, it's like if I could get out of this area, that's cool. But it's like I try to get there and then I get texts so and So's here, okay, right.

15 Right, Yeah, thanks for coming through. How was it though? Oh? Me about everyone should do a little opinion on it. I personally thought it was one of my favorite festivals. The crowd was nuts, a lot of movement in the crowd. The pit would lasted a few songs, pretty good thoughts Corky. Yeah, the pit was crazy, really receptive crowd, like a lot of people knew all the words. It was great. That's way cool, Kim. Yeah. They were raging, which is like what we need. We need their energy and it was great energy today. I'm glad you brought that up because I think a lot of people don't realize that you guys feed off that energy. Like I remember during COVID when they were doing those stream shows. I'm like, man, how these bands performing with nobody there? Like at least if there's one person, then you're performing to somebody, just perform and nobody is almost like rehearsal.

03 It's true, we're lucky to have a crowd. So tell me about doing a song with Ice nine Kills. That's pretty freaking cool. Yeah, they've been like bigger brothers to us right now. They've been super supportive. They took us on a tour, they were on the song and the music video. They've been one of the nicest bands we've ever worked with and love here in general. It's cool that they believe in us, and it's cool that right now they're huge. I mean the Terrified three song and then the premiere. They're killing it right now. And Spencer here's just like yeah, literally, he's kat right right. You know, I love it. And so I want to also talk about for our listeners the X movement. Yeah, that's cool that you brought that up. My goal with being an artist has always been to be more than just a musician. I feel like when you're an artist, you have a platform and there's a chance for you to do something good with that. And I used to really struggle with feeling like there was no purpose in me being here. So I started the X Movement because I was like, Okay, well if I don't think my life has any purpose, I can make purpose by helping others.

01 So we built a discord server where we have places for people to talk about their mental health. We have a fuck ton of mental health resources for people to use as well. It's all in one like convenient location for people. And on top of that, this place is people to talk about their sexuality. When I was younger, I wish I could have just have parents who could have accepted me for who I was. And that's why we have this discord There's a place for people to just be like I am blank, identify as blank, whatever it is. I don't care. I just need to know that you're accepted. I love it. And that's what's cool about the Danny Wimmer Festivals because everybody's accepted. I like who or what you are, Like we're one big family. Yeah you said blue, You said, oh, I know all your other weather. You're that blue hair or that would be good though, red hair whatever air right, I want to talk about did you make your shirt with the I fuck on there?

50 Yes? I used to wear this like every show almost because I love this shirt and I brought it back today because it's iconic. It's just some safety pins says my favorite word. That's so punk. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So what are you guys gonna do now? You played after Shock? What's next? It's time to get high and watch some music. You know what I'm saying there? It is well, you're yeah, listen to music. This is I know right. Well you might have already been there a little bit opes, but I gotta tell you, this is one of the coolest festivals for hanging out because we got this artist media lounge and it's always kind of cool in here. Yeah, it looks cool. I love all the Aftershock posters everywhere. It's a good theme. Yeah, and all the artists hang out here because like here, from what I understand, you guys are all like separated, So this is the one place where the artists all can you know, collectively hang out? Yeah. I like it.

41 It's nice and especially even at catering we were seeing some of our friends. It's pretty cool. Nice and let's talk about your merch too, because that's the only way bands survive and get onto the next gig. It's true. What's your favorite merch that you sell? Hm, my personal favorite piece of merch that we sell right now. So, oh, there's the Cruel World one. Uh yeah, we have a EP dropping the end of this month called Cruel World, and we made a shirt for it, like a uniform themed. It was my favorite on the tour. Cool it's this Cruel World on it. Yeah, it's like a uniform. It's sick. Nice. Do you all three agree that's your favorite? Yeah? But we croped them like, we made it really punk, collect tore them up a little bit, and yeah they're pretty cool.

24 Nice. So everybody has to go out and buy those or they can't listen my show anymore. Yeah, yeah, right, yeah, that's exactly what it is. Do you want to tell them anything else that we haven't covered that they shouldn't look out or need to know and connect on your socials and all that good stuff. Sure we are t X too. If you look that up anywhere, you could find us mad As our new song it's out now. Cruel World is coming out soon after Shock, I felt like was success. It was a huge crowd and it put a crazy mosh bit. I was happy. I'm happy today. Well i'm happy, you're happy and now thanks for having alight the rest after Shah Yes, and thanks for being on the Adventures pipe man Yo. Thank you for having us again. I appreciate you. You got it. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of Tatement on w for c u I Radio
