04 Hey, you love thee too, that's sure. I'm come for see why for you? Wake up America. It's time for the Adventure. So pipe Man on W four CWY dot com West Palm beats his number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the pipe Man, Rub This is is the pipe Man here on the Adventure's pipe Man W four c Y Radio. And I'm here with Joe on Ben. It's all's your teaming nice. So I gotta tell you what happened to me today. During the day, I'll have a chance to get out of his tent. I have to wait till later when nobody wants to do interviews because the headliners are on. But one of the people running media over here is like, you gotta go check out this band. They're like early Exodus. And I'm a told old thrash metal head.

23 So I walked out there. You always had like ten minutes left to your set. Yeah, without me describing what happened. I want to show you something and you describe to me what's going on. But I want to say before I played at that you guys were fucking badass. I am an old school thrash metal head. I was at the first Slayer show ever, first Metallica show ever. And then when they left LA and went up to a Bay area, me and my bro used to I was like fifteen. We used to hop on the Grayhound bus and go up to a Bay area for Exodus, Dark Angel, Possessed and all that shit. And he was right. Man. I went out there. I'm like, holy shit.

06 That his words were, you were tearing up the tent. That was his exact words. And I was like, holy shit. These guys are badass. So normally I don't enter pits until later in the day in case I fucked myself up and then I got interviews. But I mean, I was looking okay, and I I stood there, I'm like hmm, and then I saw the pit, and you're gonna see in a second that I start walking over to the pit. There you go, yes, And I'm walking to a pit, and of course I'm just walking, shoving my way through the crowd. So I got my phone up in the air because I don't even know what it's seeing. And then I go and there I am.

53 So now I'm checking it out and I'm sitting thinking myself, that is a real fucking sort of pit, which you don't see much anymore. You see people just going there and doing whatever, you know, And this was an actual, real old school circle pit. So I'm like, fuck it. And as you can see what I mean by fuck it, I entered the pit and had a fucking blast. Okay, it was amazing, but what was even more amazing, Like, like you see my hoodie slipknot, they have one of the most fucking devastating walls of death, and uh, but then I thought yours definitely went over most wall at deaths I've ever seen.

40 Thank you. So I don't know if you're really looking at from the stage, because I know it's like when you're up on stage, you kind of in a in a trance. Yes, so you got the traffic director over here, a couple of people that left early like no, no, no, wait, wait wait, and then they're getting jeered up and it's like okay, okay, it's time go, and you got the guy to and there it is. Yes, that is fucking old school badass flash shit going on right there. Man. You appreciate you. So when James came over to me, he didn't know I went out there, came over me and asked me if I wanted to do an interview with you guys. I'm like, fuck yeah, man, that like they're like one of my new favorite bands. I went out there, I'm like, holy fucking shit, man, and I'm glad I didn't miss this. So looking at those videos, what's you what's your thoughts in your mind? Both of you when you're looking at those videos that maybe you didn't even see from the stage because you're in that trance. Honestly, it still wasn't really SUNKNYA. I mean that was like the biggest show we ever played, like by far, we played here in swenty twenty one, two years ago. It's like we were the old been bunned on the smallest stage. So it was even then like it was intense, but it was nothing compared to that. Like it's we feel like we wanted to commons and show that we can, that we've grown since then,

12 that we can do something better than that. And I feel like we're finally muched to do that. Thank you several coming down, he certainly did. I was just in a chance, like I remember by like driven, like the beginning bit of the last song, seeing that you just showed and I was just mesmerized. I was like, just how it was just so good to just so looked it. It's so surreal to know people were that into it, isn't it? Yes? Yeah yeah. And then even James when we were talking, he goes, yeah, I really you know, I've listened to our music. I didn't see him live till today, and I really liked their music, but I didn't imagine what i'd see live. And he was like raving about you guys live. Thank you. It's all about like fils anyway, like metal, like Thrush especially, it's got to be live. Albums are good. We enjoy doing albums, and you know, recording music and writing music. The end goal is always what's it going to sound like live? How was it going to put across? What is the crowd going to do when they hear that? Yeah? So yeah, yeah, that's the main thing for us. Yeah, you're the real deal man. I even said to them, I'm like, it kind of reminds me of the early days and like a Metallica, and who knows, maybe you guys will be like next Metallica, you know, because it's got that raw, real energy, true thrash metal. Thank you so much that really means a lot to her. So now we're gonna do after blood Stock the top this and we've got a headline in UK tour coming up in October.

41 Nice. So we're six shows, we're going around and tickets are on sale now from our website hopefully next year going further afield. So how did they get to your website? And while you're telling them, connect to your socials, merch all that stuff, merch tickets. Most of our things are on our website, which is torture demon dot com and our social media. It's all just torture Demon. If you searched that, it'll come up on whatever you're on, which that's pretty amazing too. Like, it's so hard for bands nowadays to come up with me and that's why they put symbols in change the spelling. That's such a cool fucking name. How did you get lucky enough that wasn't taken already? Oh? Thank you? I mean we started at school when when I was maybe fourteen years old. I just it sounded cool, so we went with it. There we go. I love it, I guess I love it. So what's the craziest story on your journey in music so far? Honestly, it was our set here in twenty twenty one. Well I think we just had a new one. Yeah right, yeah, about an hour ago. So yeah, how do you compare to set in twenty one too now, because you know, here we are two years later, so there's a lot that's probably happened. That was twenty twenty one. Who was our first gig outside of our hometown. So it's about it come to the festival like this and we received so well, we just it blow us away, but we didn't think it could happen again, let alone even better. Yeah, it's really good to see and yeah, yeah the Blade swears back Dibet. I had to push my way through the crowd

11 like going to a slay or show or a slipnot show, So kudos to that. When did this start for you? Like, when did you know that this is what you wanted to do for me? It was about I would have been about ten years old when I first started taking things music seriously. Well maybe when I was about sixteen when we started writing for our first album. That was when it was sort of like, okay, you know, I want to try and put everything into this, try and see if we can make it happen and it was I mean played on the on the Solfie stage here. It was one of those goals that we had to you know, when you start out and you think it wouldn't be amazing if we could do X, Y and Z when we're older. Yeah, and it's about to do it. Just you know, two or three years later, it's sort of mind blowing and we're looking forward to seeing what can happen next.

58 There you go. How about you? What was the question again? So when do you When is it that you knew that this is what you wanted to do with your life? I think when joined the band, because I haven't had any experiences like this before, so yeah, I think it was the first time when the way into the band of people nice. Is there anything we haven't covered yet that you want to tell the listeners that they need to know about you? Guys? I think recovered everything just you know. Thank you for checking us out. Thank you for everyone who was there listening. Please check us out. We're on Spotify. I've got a new album out, Rise of the Lifeless, which we've just played trucks from it from live for the very first time, and we're gonna be second as far as we can. I love it and I know every time I know you're playing at festival that I'm working, I will be at your set now, and I hope everybody else's too. So thanks for being here, and thanks for being on the Avengers playing man. Thank you, Thanks robbing Us, Thank you for listening to the adventures of pynmin im W for CUI Radio.
