04 Hey, you have done to censure. For se Wow for you young row Why Become America. It's time for the Adventures of Pipe Man on W four C why dot com West pomp Beats is number one Internet radio station. Here's your host, the Pipe Man.
46 What is lady right? Wants Scott following? Got a from nothing? No, the only This is the pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe MANW four CY Radio at rock Lahome and I'm here. With Tim Montana, the Pipe Man's associate. Nice. So how's it feel be here at Rocklahoma? Have you ever played rock Lahoma? Ally? butN No. I played this stage but for Born and raised the album. Oh yeah, yeah, last time I was here. I don't know if I told you last time, but I owned Charlie Sheen's old party bus, the ninety nine Prevo that was behind it. It was his dressing room for all of two and a half men, so he had it in a warehouse low Miles. So I bought it, got a CDO, I got a passenger endorsement. I pulled into here with it and Zach Bryan and Cody Jinks were like, dude, that bus is sick, and I'm like, hey, this bus was owned by Charlie Sheen, and I hesitate to tell people that now because that always creates a twenty minute story and a twenty minute tour. And then I get a call from Mollie who was in the bus, and she calls me when I'm on stage doing something and she's like, hey, Zach Bryan's on the bus wanting a tour.
53 So then I went and gave Zach Bryan a tour of the tour bus and he absolutely flipped out over it. So he was actually a really nice kid. Nice. Yeah. I love hearing that too, because who was I there was somebody that was talking about this recently about artists and the people that you think are gonna be dis are totally fucking cool. Oh he's a navy kid. He told me his whole story about slopping shit off Navy ships and how he got famous online and then got an honorable discharge. And he's like, when I played my first show, I'd never played with the band before, and there's a line around the block. I mean, he's literally this strange anomaly, but he like, I literally asked him tell me about this crazy rise to fame, and he told me the whole story. And he's very, very humble, and he's like, I'm an azing I'm a sailor band and I got famous through the internet.
39 I love hearing it. Are you familiar with there's a band that plays a lot of DWP festivals that is an Army band. I didn't even realize this, but that's a job in the Army to be in the band. Wow, I'm not I'd love to meet him. I told my son who's been in for like eighteen years, and he does psyops and he does torch training. Shit. I'm like, dude, you should have picked the job being in a band. Wow. Right, Yeah, that's the way to be in the Army right there. Absolutely, our driver for this trip, we just hired him. Buddy recommended him. He got out in twenty twenty three and he's a marine scout sniper. Wow. And the twenty three countries and so I was just picking this guy's brain on ballistics and all kinds of stuff.
22 I'm like, dude, where do we find this driver at? Sergeant Tom is sick? Nice? Oh? I think at Rockville where we last talked. Was it Rockville? I think as you were played there we checked the Army band. As you were, I'll that's what they're called as you Were. And it's funny the way they do it is the band has a constant change of lineup because you're in the military, so it's like but it's still that. It's like it's not like bands, like normal bands that have a change of lineup. It's kind of the rotation type of thing. It's kind of cool, right, And Hey, if I was gonna be I wish I knew that when I was eighteen, like I would have joined the army. Oh yeah, I didn't want to cut my hand though, so that's why they didn't join.
03 So awesome. What's going on with you since Rockville? Man, We've had a lot of success with this record. My single Savage is top ten on Media Base, top ten on Billboard right now. So it's pretty wild ride we're taking with this album. Just wrap the tour with Bush, Jerry Cantrell toured with Stained see their Santasonia. Now I'm going out with Seither and Skillett. Then I go right to direct support with Miles Kennedy. So we are running and gunning and glad to be here. Fortunate, very blessed to get to do this stuff for a living and keep telling the rock and roll message. Coast to coast, I know, And next time we talk, we're gonna have to I want to get a comparison of playing as in born and raised and playing in Rockklahoma. Yeah, that would be cool to hear about.
45 Yeah exactly. I haven't done it yet, so I'll let you know. Yeah, there it is. So what do you got going on after Rockklahoma that we need to talk about? I fly to Montana first thing tomorrow. As I might have told you last time, Me and Billy Gibbons from Zeezy Top bought that lodge and is our one year anniversary in business, one year anniversary of Devil you know, going to radio, which became a top five Billboard hit. And so we're going up and to play a little acoustic concert. We're doing Savage Shots and they seeming the bar out after the single on the record, and we're doing ten dollars chicken wing baskets and I'm gonna jam acoustic on the stage for the great folks of Southwest Montana tomorrow night. I love it. I love what. What are I've been to?
25 Like forty five states? Montana's one I haven't been to Oh, you. Got to I have to go there. What are shows like up there? People appreciate music up there more than anywhere I've ever seen in the world. They don't get a lot of acts that go through. So even some of my rock star buddies that'll show up at our little bar and a town of forty people are like, dude, A, this place is packed. B They're so genuinely into the music. And see they're throwing around massive hundred dollars tips, and I'm like, see, they appreciate the hell out of people taking time out of their day to fly from Nashville or LA or New. York's remote Montana. You land, you drive two hours, you come to this old eighteen hundreds lodge, you set up, you play acoustically, and they go nuts.
06 I love them. Appreciation of music is way higher there because they're not accustomed to it. Oh see, now I have to go. Now you have me Like, now I'm putting that in the bucket list. I have to do a show up there. Let me know, I know a guy that owns a place up there. Oh yeah, can you give me his info his name and say. Hey, yeah, Tim Montana. And here's a thing Okay, the rest of the country doesn't believe that Wyoming exists. Do you have proof? Yeah, it exists. And it's cold as shit, windy as hell, and it's a great place to tip a car over on the highway when you're you're. Driving a night. Wyoming's beautiful. It's Montana's neighbor. And I go there a lot for hunting and it's some gorgeous country and yeah, you get into the Tetons.
46 Holy hell, look out. Yeah. This girl I used to date, she's lived in New York and Florida and she's from Serbia. She lives in Wyoming. Wow, the last person you'd probably expect from that description. And she loves it there. Yeah. And she lived in Montana too, she went to. Six lives there now she really. Yeah. A lot of people are buying compounds because of course the world is any because everything is savage, So you got to get a compound in the middle of the woods exactly. That's why even coming to rock Lahoma, I brought my passport just in case you got with. You at all times. That's why my family lives there. And a w your shit goes south, you guys will be fine. Just hang out, give me a week or two. I'll get to you.
27 Yeah, I think mid November. I'm leaving the country for a few minutes. I'm just gonna watch and see what happens. Yeah, I don't even care who wins or losers. It doesn't Matt. Yeah. Is there a party for people that think everything is fucked? Oh? Yeah, I think i'd like to be. I think it's called rock Lahoma. Yeah, exactly. You're in the rock Lahoma Party. Oh yeah, so oh so man. Cool to see you here at Rockklahoma. I hope you'll fucking die of heat performing here. I'll try not to. And thanks for being on the adventures of pipe Man. You bet, Thanks pipe Man. Oh you know what, give them your socials and your. Yeah, my page. I got foot picks I do have.
07 I do have a pipemin radio only fing that's amazing. Yeah, we're talking about starting one for the band. For all our nude gross photos. There's a lot of gross. Things that happen anyway at Tim Montana on Instagram, at Tim Montana across the board, check out wyserverclub dot com or any of the wiser the club stuff. I'm not hard to find on the internet, and. You're not hard to find your Ockklahoma. I'm all right, wait that's right. Thanks you love, Thank you for listening to the adventures of Pipemin. I'm w for CUI Radio.
