04 Hey, you love them too? Sure, I'm come. I'm to see why for you will wake up America. It's time for the Adventures of Pipeman on W four CWY dot com. Whist Poon Beach is number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the White Man, the Sultan calling me ay sulthan come they can by, Oh to tell me what to say? Oh, call me in and keep me nice. And this is the pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe Man W four c Y Radio. Here at Download Festival, and I'm here with the warning. Yeah. And I was lucky enough to have a little bit of break and catch you guys on stage here at Download and man, you killed it. What listen you guys have been going and doing a lot. It's Download amazing or what it's it's amazing.

25 It was. I don't think I've ever been to a festival where we're opening a stage. It's one pm and it's already full, Like it's right packed, it's packed with people, and like our stage wasn't the main stage, but it was just they were like, oh, I don't know, I'm corbold with numbers, but there were just so many people. And then while we were driving towards the like the green rooms, and we saw the main stage. I don't know how more people are going to get into the festival. I know, right, insane amount of people. It's awesome. And you might not know this, but did you you'd see those big tall things out there with the screens. First of all, those are metallicas. They're not always at download. Those are metallicas, and they're letting download use it.

07 You guys were up there. Oh I didn't know that. I knew you wouldn't because I was talking to somebody else yesterday, a friend of mine, Alicia Taylor from Cherry Bombs, and I told her and she's like, no, I didn't know we were up on there. I didn't. I didn't think we were gonna be on any screen. Yeah, it's awful, isn't that wild? Like? But it is. Listen, you've been doing a bunch of festivals. I feel the same way. This is the most incredible, iconic festival man, and it's the twentieth anniversary. Like Haws, it feel that invited to play for their twentieth anniversary because they had to hand pick a lineup that was special and you were part of it. Oh my god, have you put it like that? Like I got the chill.

52 So just being like a Mexican band and being invited here was just like such a whig honor. It's our first festival in the UK ever. Wow, And just like to be able to represent our content or continent that is insane to say, Like it's just such an honor to be here for the twenty anniversary as well. And yeah, just like to be able to say like, oh, yeah, we played a download. It's just right an amazing thing for us. Yeah, because this is known, like as you probably know, like the the most popular rock festival ever in history around the world. Yes, and you're here, yeah, and now like it's a big pinch me moment. It's awesome, I know. Right. So now what you're gonna do? How can you top this? Now? God, I don't know, maybe like play it again, but like on the main stage and like, oh, like imagine that'd be awesome. Yeah, there you go. Now there's the goal, the main stage exactly. You know.

49 So going back to the audience, like when you walk down on stage, probably expecting like a little crowd early in the day, Like what went through your mind when you looked out and saw a sea of people that early. I was just like, damn, these people are dedicated, like they got here early, and I like there was no way that those people, like we're all our bands, Like they were there to see their favorite bands from like and it's hot, it's d really like it's really hot. So like that's dedication right there. Yeah. And to just be a part of that and to like entertain them while they're waiting for somebody else. It's also a very important part where us just like to show them and share that is awesome because we also want to see some of the bands that are playing in that stage. So I feel like we're all just in the same vibe. We're all here to enjoy music. For us, it's performing and watching other shows.

42 So it was just we were all connected for like the same goal. I love it. I love it and speaking in the other bands. Is there one band in particular that you want to see today most? Oh, I would really like to see Evanescence. We've never We've never seen that really not believe it. Wow, we have very close like the interactions and like dates and like we could see them, but it always falls like through in the end, So hopefully this time, we already WoT see them. Amy is pretty amazing. Yeah, she is cool. So tell everybody how they can connect to you guys on socials on the web, buy your merch, check out your tour dates, all that good stuff. Okay, So we are the warning and our socials are the warning rock band. You can find us like that in Instagram, Facebook, TikTok whatever, it's the same handle.

32 Also our web page in which you can find more information about us tour dates, and also our merch is the warning band dot com. Yes, nice, tell us a little bit about your merch. Because people got by your mercher they can't listen to my show. Oh okay, So our merch is cool and it says the warning. And honestly, I feel like this year we've had some of our first best merch ever. We just started designing it, like nicely. We have beanies, we have poddies, we have jackets, we have T shirts, church shirts, logo shirts like so album shirts, we have our like vinyls, we have our CDs, so many things that you can check out there. Nice. I have an idea too for March. Your earrings, well, I could do that if you put the warning on there because it's like it's almost like, you know, a double meaning because warning or else I'm gonna stab you with my earrings. We keep it in mind for the future. That's awesome, right, But no, they are very cool earrings, so that would be a that would be a good merch thing, like people would buy stuff like yes, you know, yes. So what about new music? What's coming down the road?

44 Oh? So, we just released a new single very recently. I think it was like a few weeks ago, and it's called More. This new single is It all happened very quickly. We wrote it back in February of this year. We recorded at the end of March. We played it for the first time at the end of like April, and I was just out. It was such a quick process. But we're super proud of this new song because we feel that it really like shows this evolution of our sound, of our writing and this new direction that we want to take. It's really energetic, it's really hard hitting, and it was just so much fun writing and it's so much fun playing it live like we played it today. I used a cowbell in that song. That nice most fun thing you can do as a drummer. And the people reacted very nicely to it, so yeah, go check it out. And that's pretty cool because a lot of times people don't want to hear new music like that, play what I know, you know, so when they're into the new music, you know it's good.

41 Yes, exactly, So we're very happy with the reaction that we've beginning so far. So you talked to evolutions, so way you think prompted the evolution of your music going in another direction, not necessarily different directions, but as artists, you're always going to grow and evolve, and I think sometimes people don't understand that. Yeah, and there's reasons why you want to grow and evolve. Well, I feel like we live so much, we go through so much in such a short period of time. We change so much as people. Like last year we were touring for the first time ever, like having our headlining tours, months and months of touring. We work with Haill Storm. Right now we're touring like with News, so like, yeah, those experiences change you so much emotionally, physically, mentally, So of course that translates into music and what you were thinking of writing or how you were thinking of playing. So to be able to like fully project that into new music. It's just like this little I won't call it super I'm gonna call it superir for a lack of a better term. But it's like you remember what you went through when you listen to that deal music. Yeah.

43 Yes, And that's a good point too, because throughout life, it doesn't matter what stage of life you're on nerve changes in your life, changes in your viewpoints. So how can your music stay the same if you're changing exactly? You know? So if you were to pick one band tour with next, Jesus, Okay, it's just it's insane to think that have like all the bands that we grew up with them that have inspired us, we've toured with, like we've opened their shows for literally every single one of them, def Leppard, Mused, Guns and Roses, The Killers, Sammy Hagar, like just Hailstorm, like all those bands that we looked up to, we've played with them. Nice continue to tour with me. Was We're about to open two shows with Guns and Roses in the US. Wow, And that's a big Yeah, it's amazing. And I feel like the only band that we haven't like played with that we that like literally started our careers as Metallica.

43 Wow, not like we're on an album with them. We were invited by them to participate in the Blacklist Album Party anniversary, but we haven't met them, we haven't played with them, like we've never like nothing. So hopefully hopefully manifesting it actually something happens. Hang out tomorrow, like you guys like being around and well hopefully Oh no, we're playing in the Czech Republic tomorrow. Oh yeah, we're touring. Man, Yeah that's the way it is. Well, we'll put this out there exactly exactly all right, So you guys rock. Thank you amazing to have you here at Download, and man, I can't wait to see a lot more for you because you just keep getting better and better. So thank you for you, and thank you so much for being here at download twayanth anniversary, and thanks for being on the Adventures and pipe Man. I can't even speak now. See you got me flustered. Thanks, thank you for listening to the Adventures of Pipe Man on w for CUI Radio.
