04 Hey, you listen to such sure from se Wow you wake up America. It's time for the adventure. So Pipe Man on w for cy dot com West pom Beats is number one Internet radio station. Here's your host, the White Man where from from the Believe from Managing Pot. This is the pipe Man here on the Adventure of the Pipe Man w for c Y Radio And I'm here with Hi. Hello, I'm Jaya from the Who. Yes, you guys are here at rock Lahoma. Tell me have you guys played in Olklahoma before? What's it like to be here at rock Lahoma. We've been here before, and it's a it's a friendly place. We've been here.
17 We know everything. Yeah, we know where to go. We know all the places, all the people, and it's great to be sitting here with you. You know. It's our probably second or third time, Yeah, being with you, and yeah, it's great here. Yeah, it's it's a great festival. And there's like the people at this festival are such a great crowd. I think they're gonna I think they are, Like really, I've already been talking people. They were so excited that The Who was going to be here at Rocklahoma. So every time we come here we try to bring in as much energy as possible, and we try to keep ourselves, you know, in the high standards. And every time we come here, we're excited to you know, meet with our fans. Hopefully this time we're gonna have a much bigger crowd than last song. Yeah, I think you will because people are anticipating it. And man, the musicianship is incredible.
10 In fact, another interview I was doing earlier today with bat Allison that played this morning, they were talking about your musicianship. They want to actually go on tour with you because they love what great musicians to who are Yeah, he remembers, Yeah, thank you nice. And I want to talk about his shirt because that is one of the coolest concert shirts I've ever seen. Tell us about the artwork on there and what significance it might have. Yeah, so this is obviously it has a deep historical like fable based on it.
55 But also the main thing is he wants to the graphic wants to show that, like, you know, I want to show like higher like intelligence in the right words, and every person needs to be aware, like you know, which you know, people have like higher awareness, right and deeper awareness, and some people have you know, just mid or low, but you know, we just want to show like, let's go up higher, higher level. And isn't that something that's a big thing in your culture, like that higher level of awareness, you know, and intelligence and trying to reach those levels. This is obviously something to do with our like ancestors, teachings and specifically dys graphic. You know, you can see the coin.
58 If you keep thinking about a coin all the time, you know, obviously you're gonna you know, start thinking greedy or you know, going downhill and the coin always is going downwards and always being dropped from people's hands. And if you're thinking higher levels and if you keep learning for knowledge and intelligence, you're gonna climb up higher, you know. So I love I love that. So now what's his favorite tattoo on him? And why? So he's sat artist is called band and he loves all of his tattoos, but specifically this one on his right arm. WHOA, that's AD's cool. Yeah, yeah, he's he's totem is fucking. So he's known as wind element in the group, right, and so the fucking represents is uh, you know, freedom and also it's a fabled animal that has like traditional like Mongolian designed armors and as you can see, like it's holding out skull and skull compared to like it's like Claus is pretty small, right, So it's like, you know, fabled legendary animal best you're presenting in. Yeah. You know what's funny about that is every time I walk into the press tent, the clause on the inflatable thing over there, I always think they're gonna grab me and pull me into the press tent. Oh man, So now that you
32 guys have been playing in the United States as long as you have, did you ever think when you first were going to come over here that we would be so receptive and love the who's so much over here? So obviously we put everything into our music and we want to reach the people at you know, at our most power full. We want to share our energy and yeah, it was originally planned and uh so obviously we want to connect with our our fans heart to heart to mind to mind. And this is the result of our like really really hard working and we obviously practiced a lot. We put everything in it, and we want to you know, obviously our music is traditional, but we also want to modernize it and meet our fans in there, you know, in their current state, you know. Yeah, obviously music is universal language, and connecting with our fans through that is our number one priority. Yeah, and so at home home, would you say your people at home are very proud of the fact that the Who is bringing
08 Mongolian traditions, Mongolian music to the whole world. Yeah, it's very important that our Mongolians support us and love us. And obviously they do even though we're out all the time, and they accept us as you know, and they're very proud of us, and it's uh, it's very important that they do, you know. Yeah, that's great. And so how do I say in Mongolian? Thank you? I tried to do it on Google Translate, but I didn't read it. Your by lay a la ah, good by allah for being on the Adventures of pike Man. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of pike Man n W four CUI Radio
