04 Hey, you have done to censure? See wow, crazy young. Why Become of America. It's time for the adventures of HiPE Man on W four C why dot com West pomp Beats is number one Internet radio station. Here's your host, the. HiPE Man.

47 Colors the television window colors. It's like a simplest woman. No there, this is quite her Roddie budgets by n W four c Y Radio and I'm here with. Not one. I love when you guys do that. Man, that's bad ass. And I love his shirt the best. I want one of those shirts. That's bad and he left. You know what I'm saying. You know what, if I find a straggler, I will absolutely mail it to your medium. Medium Medium, got you the medium bro? We can switch shirts. Yeah, I'll do it for me to get another one.

31 I'll do it if you want. Let's do it right here. Yeah that's crazy, yeah, yeah crazy Yeah. Gratification. And and that's a JAF exclusive shirt like that exactly. That's got my blood sweating tears. On that bitch. I hope I didn't just get her pies. Hey man, I'm clean, I get tested nice.

12 Yeah man, clean life. I do dig it because I am a skateboarder and it's so fucking it's just cool. But you guys are fucking cool. Thank you, thank you so much. So you guys are seriously busy right now, man, Like what's going on? Like you're NonStop? We try to be. It's it's really crazy because it's just all the shows, everything that we've been doing is we're really NonStop. Life is NonStop right now. We just what is it? But we put into work and we live with the results it is, and we just keep going, keep going because you gotta build. And we're seeing everything grow exponentially from the time slots at each festival that we've been getting to in the last two years, from the supporting tours and slots that we get and also are headlining shows that we've been doing the last year and a half, seeing our audiences grow in different cities across the country.

05 It's just, you know, as that's our main thing. If there's progress being made and we're having fun, then this ship will never end. And it's beautiful to see you grow in our community grow. That's what it's about. It's really important to us. Fun is the key word. Yeah, I've said this probably ten million times. But you're in the wrong business if you're not having fun because everything else suck. Crush it yourself right, a good time. That's when it's a problem. You gotta have fun, man, And listen, how could you not getting up on stage in the well sweltering heat, dying of heat stroke and these mask Yeah, exactly a lot.

48 I don't know how you do all that shit. By the way, I don't know. It's just good, good cardio. We eat well. Like last night. We're probably the only man who showed up the day before and all went to bed at like ten. Wow, I haven't gone that. I haven't got the bet to ten and like at ten in like fifty years. Oh no, we went to sleep because we know we gotta come do this. Woke up. I was up at Yeah, he went to bed at eight thirty. I was in bed by ten. So you're dispelling the whole myth about the whole rock star lifestyle right there. Nah, Nah, it's not a lot. It's just because we did that matter of fact, ship rockway you met us, we rock started out. That's why we didn't have voices about ten of this. So it's just yeah, when you start to realize, like, yo, we gotta be professionals. Now we're kind of like, I love it, it's happening for us, and we so we're like, all right, we're taking in a lot more serious and understanding, Like, yo, we have these moments and sometimes we gotta not be the ranger right here because we want to be the razor up there.

43 Yeah. Yeah, see, Now I would have thought last night you went have been where I was, and that was at the bus boobs and buttholes campsite. What I didn't even know it existed. We would have definitely take a trip. Okay, So let me describe the campgrounds to you. You walk out GA at the end of the night after Slipknot tonight, you turn right and right on the left, it's the strip club campsite. That's first stop. That's the appetizer. Why left the booths? That's no, that's not even the boobs yet. I ain't even get into that yet, sir.

24 Then you go, this is a it's a school bus that they built a deck on top of and they rent a whole big area for the campsite. Everybody, everybody's invited up on top of the bus and everybody gets up there and they're all partying. They welcome you with jello shots. And there's a big sign on the bus. It's people are walking by. Show us your boobs or your buttholes to get some beads, you know, the Mardi Gras beads. Amazes me what people will do for bets, okay, for beads. And I have to tell you what. Here's the thing. I can't believe it. And it was like a train wreck.

07 But there were way more guys showing buttholes than women showing boobs. That's a travesty, right, the travesty. Listen because I don't care. I don't listen. I don't care what direction you go. Boobs are cute in buhles, no doubt. Boobs look better than but holes. Fight me. I'm just sorry. I will say it right, thank you. Second, boobs look better if somebody tells me their butthole looks better than boobs, bullshit. So I have a very important question for you on that note. Okay, Nicole here, she does a show on my station, and basically one of the episodes, because she's into like Chinese medicine, Lee of the episodes was about I'm gonna say it wrong and she's gonna get mad.

59 But but whole sunny, but whole sunning. Yeah yeah, like and important, but it could work. I just want to say for people who recreationally use drugs, there like one of the the the easier ways to do it is to boof it in your butt because you get like the drug quicker in your system and it hits you harder and it's cool. What up? You don't got a way for it? That probably works as well with vitamins that aren't drugs and natural resources of the earth. You sound like you tested this theory.

40 I will not confirm or deny that, not on record. Right, Oh my god, that's great the costs for you. I believe in it. There you go. So I'm sorry, so people sit in the sun. I'm not flexible, but yeah, how long. Ten seconds? But my other co hosts yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, taking a bit. Wait wait, it is always. Supposed to photos and put it on the website.

23 It's always supposed to be like ten seconds. But one of my co hosts decided to try it out and did it for like a half an hour. That's gonna hurt a half Yeah, next time you poop that's gonna be one hell of a poop poop. And who said that's where the sun doesn't shine? Yo? I mean it's not supposed to if you're naked. So I have a job for you guys now, a mission or or maybe a challenge, a challenge or there your next song you write about but whole sunny?

13 How do we do that? And not me? I know? I know, because people don't even realize, like if you don't you know a song thing big? Right? Yeah, so you know what that's about, right, So many people don't catch what things big is about. It's about it is about felatia, it is about doing that thing. It is about fun you think big to save yourself? Oh whoah, giving and receiving. Well, oh listen, we do not discriminate. Have fun, all right, have fun. So we will make a butt whole song somehow. There it is. We'll figure it out and you could dedicate it to pipe man, and you're gonna call this shun don't shine there it is? Yeah, listen, you know my mind is already going yoah, my mind and it's to be like one at all, like one at all.

02 Guys gave us the song piped man. I know. I'm just saying featuring and pipe man. We're gonna let him do the intro. The it is sun Don't Shine feature and pipe Man. There it is. I love it. I love it. Instructions like oh yeah, it could be like what a serious telling, like if you would like to receive a meditation? Yeah, guided meditation, you know what you could do? It could be like Erry Sandman, like in the middle of the song. God, yo, you know it's crazy. We got a Sandman's skit in the set, right, So it's funny when you say sad Man.

42 So we're gonna do a guided meditation for your baho. There it is. We're gonna call it release. That is crazy. We can't be hanging out with you. You bring the best out of us. I love So. Now I have a very important question for you, now that I did that. What's the funniest question or statement everybody anybody ever said to you in an interview? The fucking but ole ship man, the butt. Old ship he said, the craziest That's true. We all usually the ones would it is usually us. We don't. Nobody ever matches our energy on this level. I know, right, yeah, and I did right from the first time we met.

26 That's why we always you want to do it. Yes, let's go, let's let's let's talk, let's yes, exactly gonna be fun. This is gonna be great, no doubt, that's funny. Yeah, tell you he's like, he's still he's gonna be thinking about this whole day that until he goes to the butt old bus, until he goes said but old bus. He's gonna be thinking about all that. Whole bus is crazy. Yo, we cam into that right now. They would be losing their minds right now. Oh, would be losing their minds right now. Think of what yeah, think of what your mates are missing right now? Happens thinking about you missed on a bus on the van the Listen.

08 There's a good class interview class ship. How many times have you seen a buttole while on the tour bus? Never? Zero? Zero? All right, good zero but host? Thank god we. Tend to keep our butt host contained in this man music. What's the what's the worst interview question you ever got? Oh? I know, I know, I just stupid one. I can't it was it was it was a good it was a good regular question. But it had nothing to do with like nothing they asked. The question was like asked us to something about what uh wait, what was the tenth the tenth match the Undertaker every day?

50 And we were like mad confused. We're like, yo, dude, yeah, you was pissed because we're like, yo, we can't hear somebout music. And literally that was the interview where he was asking us a bunch of random, weird questions and we had to do that interview instead of eating before going on stage. So it was like it was like, so I'm missing food right now before I can go on stage to talk to you about the most mundane dumb ship. No way, Wow, what are we talking aboutshole? I'd love to have conversations, but come. On, man, what did Was there something that made him think of a wrestling like. Like if we like wrestling, But it was just the way it was delivered. Delivery was terrible. It was like, I don't know, I can't even describe. It's just a weird, dude.

34 I remember that it wasn't right and it would dry straight face, like, hey man, so if I did drive away a straight face. You would never see us again from that first. If you ever canned your butt hole you. Would see this again if you said it's just interesting, Like if you said if you Dad stared us in the face. The first time we ever met you, it was like, so have you ever got Son in your butthole? I would have lost my Hi. Yeah exactly, yeah, Oh no, I know, getting awkward, you know what I mean?

15 Like you're not even having fun with that? He was? Actually it was a serious, right yeah. Why did that look like Corey? It probably was Corey? It was Corey. That looked like Corey right there. Never mind, because I saw the back of his head. It could look like it wasn't him. It'd be funny if it was Danny Wibber. That had been lit. That had been funny. Hey hey Danny, They said you look like Corey? Oh ship? Is that a compliment or an insult? I don't know. I don't know, I don't know find out. Griffin was just in there? Oh really? Yeah?

55 Did you check out? Then? Dead were sound checking? Aren't we hung out? We were chopping it out. We hung out with them for a bit. He literally nice. But we watched some of their set from the jumbo trunk. I didn't catch it because I was in here, and I did interview him. But I've caught many in our sets. They are fucking Killer five. They are killer you know. And they do have a sound like Slipknot, but not like other bands that do that, and kids and bands like they're trying to sound They're not trying to sound like Slipknot. But when you're two kids that have been on tour since you can't even fucking speak, how can you help but not have that influence.

37 But that's the thing is to influence is influence. Everything has been done before, nothing's really original, nothing's really original. Influence is gonna be influenced, right, So when you think about that, I always think about it like that's not a bad thing. It's not a great point because so many people bitch about that ship and it's like there isn't one artist on the face of the earth. That has not had some influence, just another artists. I won't listen to other interviews because I'm afraid that it's going to enter my head and then I'm gonna. To be different, to not be me and to be somebody else, and that's gonna happen. So, you know, and it's and think about it. You got a dad like Corey.

18 Yeah, I mean other, although I think there's like a sweet spot. And like when you are when you are good at what you do and what you love to do, or at least have worked hard enough for it, it's like then you become very good at stealing. Yeah, right, Like I mean, I'll listen to fucking Katy Perry and be like that bridge was so sick. What if the I take we take that concept of the Katy Perry bridge and put it in an oxymoron's universe? What happens then? And again, not everything's been done before, but that's how you put your own fingerprint on ideas and concepts that have already like come from somewhere else and continue to push the envelope and create, you know, and evolve sounds and and I and like ideas within music. But even at that point that you're making like you made a great point, Like think about it. If if that were the case, if and people get mad about that, then everybody in metals should hate every band that dropped that used to drop d Yeah, everything straight up, So then y'all should be you should be destroying these mans.

13 Then go, I realized, it's just well, how do they use it. Munch of bands are usually drop D, but everybody's using it in their own ways. They're doing different things. It's just like you said, you put that, you put the Katy Perry Bridge in there, or whoever. It might be, just the idea of its just the concept and do it your way first creativity. Perfect example. I'm sorry to cut you, but it's funny like people say, hey, man, I hate that people are cloning. But then then when they see something different, they're like, oh, that sounds different. Like people don't know what they want. Bro, they complain about about something. And I'll tell you what a perfect example of what we're talking about is the song Hurt. I can't tell you how many people I think Johnny Cash wrote that song. That's a good way of covering somebody else's song that people think you're the original.

57 Yeah you know, so there it is. When you and that kind of way, it's really really cool because now it's kind of like your song in a really cool way. Like I think. I think like when you own it in that way is when people really really love it. And then also they don't know any better anybody, so they like, yeah, there we go. Nothing's completely original. So once you let go of trying to like actually hold on to that, then then you're actually setting yourself free of a receiving ideas, enjoying other things and creating new actually like really like new shit. Because creativity in general, it's it's a collaborative thing. So like when you even all these sounds, everything you hear in all of these bands, man, it's been killer like, but we also want bands to push it forward. That's why the genre tends to get stale as stagnant, like smaller band Like, think about it, when slip Knot was becoming slipknot, they didn't sound like anybody, right, you see, they had influences, but.

48 They didn't Lamba God didn't like we can go on forever. So of course, so as a band is coming up, it would be awesome first to not sound like anybody else, because that's the fucking point. Yeah, the point is the kind I'm like spinning your own thing. Yeah, we have influences. Clearly, listen to our music. We're influenced, mile we didn't create the genres we've blen right exactly. We clearly were influenced. But you can be creative and and and I think that is going to be the future of what the genre. Is hundred So we're having a lot of fun, but we got a fucking go all right, you're right, you know we love you you like l I close that out. We got close it out, just straight out like that. Your tour managers giving me this, and I'm like, we gotta fucking go, all right, So tell everybody I reach out to you guys on socials, on the web by your merch, check out your tour dates, music, all that, and then I'm gonna kick you out of here.

37 Yeah, all that stuff that he just said. Check it out on oxymorons dot com. That's two ours, not ones. All social media's that's Oxymorons O X Y M O R R O N S two ours, not one. See there be crazy and look at some ball holes. Peace shout out pipe man by Merch. I can't even end that because you ended it perfectly. So thanks for being on the adventure to fight Man. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of Tatement on w fur c u I Radio.
