04 Hey, you Land too. He is sche Wow. Wake up America. It's time for the Adventures of pipe Man on w forcy dot com list. Palm Beach is number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the pipe Man. This is pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe Man w FORCY Radio. And I'm here with Jody Waldrop Dinamo of Life by Music Nice. I love boutique charities. I hate big house charities because boutique charities like you guys, actually help the cause. So tell us about your charity. I work with Ryan Patrick or otherwise is his nonprofit. I'm the treasurer and I came up with an idea a few years ago about having a traveling Mama Joe's guitar that I would take to my concerts and festivals and get signed, and that we would auction it at our annual fundraiser. So the first guitar we auctioned off last mate kind of during COVID, so it wasn't quite as full as the second guitar that I have at home. And what we do with our the proceeds and the donations that are given to us is put guitars into the hands of children across the United States. See. I love that, especially since they're taking music. I have schools, which I don't get at all.

34 I think you need to arts with the non arts to be a well rounded person. You can't just learn math. You have to learn all different things. And this is where you're filling that gap. As they're taking it away from kids, you're giving it back to them. Absolutely. If we hear that there is a school program that has been cut and they are looking for some guitars, we are there. If there is a child that someone knows is in crisis and a guitar would make a difference in their life, we try and get a guitar to them, and Ryan also will offer guitar lessons to help get them started. So nice. It is definitely a something that we love to do in a passion. Well, so what's the expression on these kids' face when you help them out like that? Big smiles?

27 I mean just just big smiles. I am. I get goosebumps when I think about it. I'm looking forward today. We've been doing this three years now. I'm looking forward to the day some young, beautiful person comes up to me and says, thank you, you made a difference in my life. And you know that's that's what I do it just I know what music has done for me and I cannot imagine my life without it. I wouldn't know this young man, Jared Moore, who is my assistant, and I have another wonderful friend, Tammy can Eyes. All that is my other concert is and it was Jared's turn to come help and carry the guitar for me. And he recognizes more musicians than I do being a musician, right, it's like we need to go over there and get that signature. So far, I've only had one person say no, and I won't say who that is, and I don't want it to. But most people are just very supportive and love the idea, like like you, and I can't even see why somebody wouldn't, but hey to teach his own do what you do.

30 Absolutely, And there's the guitar right there. I listen. I like the guitar strap. Thank you. I'm gonna have guitar strap. That's pretty cool. I've had that for this has gone on. All the guitars take the first one, so it stays with me. But we've got we've got a few. It started at incarceration. This year was when we started this number three guitar and jose Mania was the first person to sign it for me. Oh, jose amazing, dude, amazing, dusolutely Oh. And you know I was gonna ask a question, and now I see it, Lacy. Yes, I was about to ask and then I looked out and I'm like, there it is. I love it. I knew she would be somebody to be into it because she is so into charities and doing for others and just a selfless, amazing human being. The storms are absolutely amazing. I'm blessed to work with him. There you go. Who else are your favorites to work with? Otherwise, of course stitched up heart and signed the guitar.

39 Yesterday when we were Incarceration, my friend and I saw Bush gear up on the stage. So we're waiting. Gavin walked by and I'm like, fanning girl, I can't wait to see you on stage, and then we were ready. After they got out their set, we got to watch them side stage, and another young lady was there and she started gushing and I'm like, we'll just wait. So we walked back with him into the artist area and I stalked him came out to have a smoke and he was just he was so much fun and he wrote down the neck of the guitar yep, every letter between the Frets. Then we went and had a celebratory margarita because we were so pumped that we got Davin pardon Me to sign it. It was just it was amazing, just amazing. Anybody else that sticks out to you, Let's see who else is. Off the top of my head, I have a list somewhere. I can't remember who all has signed it.

33 Honestly, there's this wonderful man called Eastman Row. Oh yeah, yeah, see them outside Kansas City. I'm from Omaha. But they were phenomenal and they were really pumped to sign it. Ten years I'm trying to Blake. Need to got Corey Taylor tonight. I got Corey Taylor's son to sign it yesterday and listen. Then that is apps amazing and he's pretty cool. You know his son, and then you know Clown Sun is the drummer of Vendev. Well, the way I see it, if I get one member of the band to sign it, that band signed it, it's good.

16 If I can I try to get everybody. But if I can't get everybody. I am happy with one. I have escaped to fade on there. And then we have the people behind the scenes. Alan Walker, the driver for Stitched Up Hart. I'm like, you know, without you, that's right. Sign the guitar. I love it. And I've had several amazing gentlemen around here, just the workers in the background, like would you please sign this guitar, because again, without you, we wouldn't have all this. See, I love that people. They may not care about those all those people, but without them there is no festival, and you made their day. I hope. So, I hope so, and I take pictures of everyone that signs it and do a photo book that goes with the person that has the winning bid on the guitar to prove its authenticity. So, yeah, whoever wins that guitar, they better not play that thing because Gavin will disappear real quick. I have an eye tag in it in case I leave it somewhere. Oh look at that. I don't think I would, but just in case, Yeah, I don't think you would. He's had his hand on it the whole time. I don't think it's going anywhere.

29 So tell everybody how they reach out to you guys, help the charity in other ways, connect with you and all that good stuff. We are having our third annual festival in Las Vegas on November eleventh, Veteran's Day. We have We start with a rock and run in the morning. Then we have a silent auction with all kinds of amazing things that have been donated by different bands, guitars, opportunities, events, and there's a golf outing on the next day. We have our website Live life by music dot org and there is a link there if somebody would like to make a donation and help us. We would absolutely appreciate even a dollar to help put guitars into the hands and kids. And I agree, I agree, And I think the name is amazing because for most of us artists and listeners, music saves our lives, and some of us wouldn't have a life it weren't if it weren't for music. Very true. I think of all the amazing people that I would not have in my life if I wasn't out getting hot and sweaty, and and it's the best therapy ever for an artist and for the listener. It's just it's the one constant unifier in the world too, absolutely the only one left. Thank you for this opportunity. I appreciate you well. Thank you for doing what you do. It's more important because you are just I love that you're helping children and it's a big thing for me. Children need this

03 and need you, so thank you and thank you for being on the Adventures pint Man. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of pint Man. I'm W four CUI Radio.
