On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman interviews Liam Horne, an amazing artist with killer new music. Liam shares the meaning behind his song "All On Me," describing it as a special track that marks his transition from boyhood to manhood in the music industry. He explains that the song represents a shift from his previous poppy bubblegum style to something darker and grungier, reflecting his growth as an artist. Liam's main goal is to create music that provides an escape for listeners, offering a release from the real world and a chance to connect emotionally.
Pipeman and Liam discuss the importance of authenticity in the music industry. Liam expresses his admiration for Robin Thicke, one of his favorite collaborators, highlighting Robin's unwavering dedication to his craft and his humble nature. They both emphasize the significance of creating music for the love of it rather than focusing on external factors like numbers and trends. Liam believes that artists need to be genuine, deserving of success, and connect with their audience on a deeper level.
Looking ahead, Liam reveals his plans to release multiple songs and singles, aiming to flood the world with his music. He announces his upcoming single, "Cars with Leather," and shares his intention to embark on a college tour and potentially join other artists as an opening act. While the specific details are still being worked out, Liam encourages fans to stay updated on his social media platforms for tour dates and announcements.
As the interview concludes, Pipeman asks Liam about a memorable experience in the music industry. Liam recalls a time when he stood outside renowned studios, like Conway Studios and East West, handing out CDs and passionately promoting his music. This old-school approach ultimately led to unexpected opportunities and reinforced his belief in perseverance and never giving up. Liam's advice to his grandkids and aspiring artists is to maintain a relentless attitude, reminding them that anything is possible if they pursue their dreams with determination.

0:04 Hey, you love thee too, that sir, I'm come, I'm you see why you wake up America. It's time for the Adventure. So pipe Man on W four C why dot Com west Poon Beach is number one internet radio station. Here's your host, the White Man, thinking bout you the chains, I just can't break free, thinking, boy you no, I'll make you money the way. I'm full fun. This is the pipe Man here on the Adventure. There's a pipe Man W four C y Radio and I'm here with our next guests who had some killer new music and when an amazing artist. So let's welcome to the show. Liam Horne, how are you? Hey, I'm great. Thank you very much for having me.
1:14 Dean, thank you. Oh my pleasure. So I'm digging this new song all on me? Can you tell the listeners what that song means to you? All on me is it's a very special song to me because one I got to collab with two of my favorite people in the music industry to make it, and too, it's really it's kind of my transition from boys to manhood in the music industry. My songs were a lot more poppy, bubble come up until this point, and it was my first time experiment and with something a little more dark and grunge and more growing up. So it's my transition and it's just all around a special song to me. Well, that's pretty cool, and that's something about you too, because a lot of times, like teenage artists, they're full of darkness in their music a lot of times. So it's kind of cool that you know, you've transitioned into a little more of the dark sides and to speak, because you know, it's what people were, that's what people relate to anyway, and there's a lot of there's a lot of things going on in the world right now, and music's the best therapy. So I think this song you got here is something that's probably therapy for you, but also therapy for people listening. That's awesome.
2:43 Well, that's you know, that's that's my main goal with the songs I create. If I can just if I can reach at least even five people to one person, then I believe I'm doing my doing an effort to make you know, just that little change in their life, no matter what it is in their day, maybe they can just escape for four minutes while they put that song on. You know, or any song that I create, I try and give that release from the real world, you know, no doubt. And so tell me, what is it that makes the people you collabed with, like Robin think like your favorite people to collab with. Hey, you know, Robin, Robin has always been my favorite to collaborate with. So Robin, really, Robin to me, sets the standards you know, for like who what an artist should be. He's been doing this a long time. He's never stopped. He's he's had songs that have great success to songs that have had little success, and he's just been unwavering in his craft. You know. He's just an amazing artist who whose drive just really inspires me. And he's humble. You know. When I met him, he really liked was super like caring about mom music and wanted to get involved and all out of like love and leaving the songs. You know.
4:00 So he's just that's that's what you should be as an artist. You should just love what you're doing, never give up, and don't care about the next guy's numbers or whatever they're doing. Just is the next guy has love for the music. You should want to collaborate. You know, I love that attitude because there's so many people out there in the world, not just in music, just in general. They're always looking at what other people are doing. And I think to be like one of the best artists, you just gotta do it for you. And then I think that's when people love it because they can relate in their own way, but they can tell the passion that you have when you're doing it for you exactly. And I love that too, that they can. You know, as an audience, people are becoming much more, much more aware. It's getting harder to just like, you know, hid your bullshit from the audience now as you know, people grow, and that keeps us artists on our toes. You know, you can't you can't just be a smiling face and sing some songs that have been written for you or that you've written it do mean nothing and just expect the world to buy it. You know. You really have to be a real person and have good molls, you know, like you have to deserve what comes to you in the world. I believe, you know, and some of the artists have been blessed to work with like Rob and really have that, and that's why I believe they get to the success level they get to. Yeah, absolutely, I mean you can tell, I know, I can tell. You can tell when somebody's doing it for the love of
5:32 the music or they're doing it just going through the motions. And I can't imagine just going through the motions in this industry anyway. Is what benefit would you get out of if you're not enjoying the music itself and the process itself. Yeah, no, it sounds like the most tiring job in the world, to be honest. If you're if you're not benefitting, you're enjoying it, right because I don't think people realize how much work it really is and how much dedication, and you know, they all see the positive side, but there's a lot of negative side that they don't see. So it definitely you have to have a love for the art to do what you do, for sure, for sure. So what's going to be coming out after this, what's coming up and for the rest of the year. So right now, my goal is to get as much songs out into the world as possible.
6:28 I want to have content after content after content just released. So I'm creating to release, which means singles upon singles upon singles. I have my next single called Cars with Leather lined up and ready to be released. That's going to come within the next week or two. And I am right now looking up and getting a tour in the works. Oh that's cool. Can you say anything more about that? Or we are people gonna have to watch on socials to find out about that. Well, Socials would definitely be the best way to keep up with it and find out exact dates because it's still brand new and early. But I can say I'm setting up a college tour is just going to be the states, you know, America, and we're picking the states right now to go around and picking the campuses and the colleges.
7:24 And I'm also looking at buy on tours right now, which is something else that you know, maybe I open up for a bigger artist before I go on my own personal tour, just so like you know, I have more of a wait to carry around with me as my own audience. There you go, And so how my tour the college should becoming either from September to start at twenty twenty four, that's the startline goal? Nice And so how do people connect you on socials on the web and everything, and watch out for the tour dates, check out all the new music and that you've just done and the music coming out and all that good stuff. Well, my name is Liam Horn. That's l I A M h O r n E. And that's my name on all social medias. You can find me on YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Facebook, Instagram, et cetera. Everything just under Liam Horn and I post them there daily, all my events coming up, my shows, my new music, my videos.
8:35 Nice And so you've been doing this for a while. And part of the industry is there one story, good or bad that when you're like, you know, a grandparent or something that you're you're going to tell your grandkids. Hum, one good story? Yeah, yeah, I go, I got a good story for you. So I I started out really really lucky in the music industry, where to the point I was with huge producers at a young age and we were an amazing studios and writing great songs. And then I left that team and really was on my own, and I really had no way of looking up. So what I did was I took all my songs that I would right put them all onto a CD, and I would go stand in these studios, you know, like Conway studios. I would stand in like East West in Hollywood and all these studios wait for producers come.
9:39 I'm like, you'll play my song, Play my song, and play my song. And I was maybe sixteen seventeen at the time. And if you'd asked me at ten when I thought I'd be famous, I would have said fourteen. You're asked me at sixteen, I would have said twenty ten years away from that, And I've come so far from standing studio and I've done things I never thought I could do in the music industry since then. So the main thing is to just never give up. And that goes for everything, you know, And that's what I was wanting my grandkids to know that, regardless of whether they're music, they have the same attitude that I did. You know, you can do anython. I love that advice because that is what the business is all about. And what you were the story you were just telling, it's so old school and the music business like just standing outside and like just being everywhere so you can be seen. And you know, that's what they have to put your face everywhere, that's right, and you never know who's gonna listen to that CD or or who's gonna look at you and go hmm, and you know you just never know whose hands that stuff is going to get into. Nope, so I got I got lucky, and you know, so little kids from's calling can get lucky out here. I really believe the stars are unwritten for everyone. You just have to just have to put on your ratios and go for it. I love it, I love your music. Everybody's guy. Definitely check you out and
11:11 if they haven't already, and check out the new music. Just keep giving it to us. And thanks for being on the Adventures of pipe Man. Thank you very much for having me along on the adventure. It was so fun. And thank you again. Hey, my pleasure, and we'll do it again because I know you're gonna have a lot of great stuff coming in the future. Alic Forward Court, thank you for listening to the Adventures of Pipe Man. I'm W four CUI Radio.
